Hi there even though im the owner of the file i created. but im not able to copy the url from browser and share with anyone. when i send the link to them they see the error, Unable to open the file. and my share button on the top right is greyed out as well.
However, in the past i was able to do so.

The greyed-out Share button can mean that sharing permissions was tweaked at the org level. Since those global settings override individual file ownership, it would explain why things changed so fast.
Could you check in with your organization admin? They can see if link sharing settings were recently updated by following the steps in this help article (direct link)
