Issue with Clickable Elements Behind Expanded Social Bar in FigmaHi everyone,I'm facing an issue with my expanded social bar in Figma. Here's the situation: The collapsed state of the social bar sits at the bottom of the screen. When it expands, it visually covers a portion of the main content on the page. However, the elements that are beneath the expanded social bar (from the main content) are still clickable, which should not happen.  

Hey everyone,I’m running into an issue with component resizing in Figma. I’ve set constraints on child elements (e.g., left & right for buttons inside a container), but when I resize the main component, the elements don’t behave as expected. Sometimes they overlap, and other times they don’t scale proportionally.I’ve checked: Auto layout settings (both fixed and fill options) Whether the frame is set to "hug contents" or "fixed width" Nested component constraints Has anyone else faced this? Any tips on getting constraints to behave properly when resizing?Thanks in advance!

Bug? 👿 In Figma Web (Chrome on macOS), when I use “Paste to replace”, the selected frame disappears, and only text from the copied frame is inserted — centered on canvas.If the copied frame has no text, nothing happens at all.macOS Sequoia 15.3.1, MacBook Air M2Same action works fine on Figma Desktop and in Chrome on Windows (even via Parallels).Anyone else run into this?

So im pretty new to figma, and i was trying background blur when i give a rectangle a 1% opacity gradient of 1% full black to 0% full black when i notice that it has this grain texture on it. so i zoom in to check it out but the more i zoom in the more grain i see until at 25600% i get to more grain! (only one media allowed 😦 ) i try to export but it takes quite a while so i just restart figma. so im giving a project link to see if you see this also or if its just me! I’m creating a plugins project, but Figma updates its version, then I update Figma, and all my projects are gone, how do I find this?

I'm working on a design system and when I got to the input components, I created variants for the desktop version—all the same size but with different properties. However, I also need these variations for the mobile version, where padding, icon size, font size, and other properties change.Sometimes, I also need larger versions, like for a self-checkout screen, where the inputs are significantly bigger.Based on the desktop input I created, is there a way to create another set of components with the same variants and properties, but only change the padding, font size, border radius, etc., without having to simply duplicate and manually adjust the size of everything to fit mobile and other screen sizes?If you have any suggestions on how I could improve the way I've created these components, feel free to share. I've been using Figma for a few years now but haven’t fully mastered local variants, components, and related concepts.

Hi all! If I have a 3rd party payment integration for the plugin I built do I still need to apply to the waitlist “Sell on Figma Community”: docs.google.com But it is not 100% clear for the case of allready having a 3rd party payment integration. They say that you can use 3rd-party payment integrations, but with that integrated, can I just go through the publishing process and if I get approved they will just label it “Third-Party Payment” and publish it or will I first have to be chosen from the “Sell on Figma Community”-waitlist even if I do not want to use Figma´s own payment gateway? Why do the available font weights in Figma not match Google fonts? For Poppins, ExtraLight shows a weight of 275 when queried in Dev mode, but this is not available in Google Fonts. 

There’s a thing where the ‘Go to main component’ buttom may be there and may not. It looks like this:At first it looked like view only users can go to main component if it’s in the same document and can’t if it’s in other document. But some people from dev and QA teams told me they can go to main component in other document while other people with same view only rights can’t. After some research I’ve discovered that this button appears for the user after accessing that other document with main component by direct link for the first time, even if document doesn’t have invite-only access. I understand concern that ‘Anyone with the link’  doesn’t mean free access, it is still require user to have a link to access the document but the UX of ‘Go to main component’ button is very frustrating. It could be simply grayed out with tooltip saying something like “You don’t have access to that document” or in this particular case, “Open this document with direct link in order to access its library”

 What is this and what’s shortcut for it?

hello everyone, i just have one question, i was trying to update to Figma pro but when i wanted to insert the credit card number i realised that my country (Lebanon) is not on the list of countries that Figma accepts credit cards from, so i was wondering if there was another way to get Figma pro or to solve this issue, thank you in advanced

Hi. I have a Component for a portfolio with a text that will change on mouse hover. This text will be diferent in each card of the portolio. How can I change this text?Now I have 1 component with 2 variants (default and hover), but when I put the variant hover in my page content, this not change is always ‘hover text’.I’m new in figma and this topic is difficult to me.  

Hello, who has Figma app for windows X86?

Hey guys,I know there are lots of topics about this issue but none of them have solved my problem. It is very interesting because when I publish my variables from my Component Library, only ‘Primitives’ collection is accessible in other projects. And I see Tokens are hidden and Figma says these won’t be published. But I don’t know the reason. Because these Tokens are not selected as ‘Hide from publishing’  Can you guys help? Thanks!

Not using the native Windows 11 titlebar has consequences. For example, in the Windows world, when you don’t use the native titlebar, you lose access to the “Snap layout” options.For example, this is in Firefox:Snap layout FirefoxSeems unfair that macOS people have access to their OS’ window controls, but not Windows. 

Getting many attempts error, please fix this urgently.

Figma Admin Process The upgrade requests are not always displayed in recenct order and I can no longer tell if someone nudged a request. Before, a nudged request would be highlighted in a pale yellow. I havent seen that with the new UI yet.

I have noticed some new behaviour in the ‘all notifications’ menu on the homepage which I find pretty concerning. If there are unread comments, as soon as one hovers over the comment window it automatically marks it as read. Both in the notifications menu AND in the file. This has proven detrimental as when just checking in on a comment, it clears! Often I do not respond to notifications in the notification menu from the homepage, and instead prefer to return to the actual file when I am working on that project, to see the comment properly and respond while looking at all the file’s context nearby. Now when I enter the file the comment bubble is marked as read and so it’s missed! This is terrible UX especially if one is busy merely scrolling through their notifications and now they’re all being marked as read. At least provide the user to turn off this ‘hover-to-mark-as-read’ feature.See below example: After hovering over the first list item, it marks it as read. Just like that. Awful!

How can I create a copy to figma button like this in my website? so the users can copy the screen frame and paste it directly in their file: 

Since the 25 March update to the file browser I can only view files in grid view, as opposed to a vertical list.Is this a bug or has this feature been deliberately removed, and if so why? Previous layout options 

I mixed up the hotkeys and accidentally pressed ctrl+shift+o. All the slides in my project turned into curves. Is there any way to undo this? I tried ctrl+z and also go back to previous versions of the project, but it didn't work((
