Plugin in review for over a month — any way to get a status update?

Hi Figma team and community,

I submitted my plugin **Semantix** for community review approximately one month ago and it's still showing the "In review" badge with no update.

https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1616746034069306278

The plugin has:
- No network requests, no backend, no user data stored — fully local

I've checked my email (including spam) and haven't received any rejection notice or request for changes. The plugin has been tested thoroughly and the manifest is clean with `"allowedDomains": ["none"]`.

A few questions:
1. Is there anything I can check or fix on my end to move this forward?
2. Is there a way to get a status update or estimated timeline?
3. Is a 1-month review period normal currently, or is there a backlog?

Happy to provide any additional information, answer security questions, or make changes if needed. Just want to understand where things stand.

Thanks for your time.

Hi @Semantix Design, Celyn from Figma Community Support here.

Thanks for reaching out about your plugin, Semantix - Design System and Token Generator.

I took a look on my end and can confirm that your submission is still in the review queue. I’ve added a quick nudge internally to help increase its visibility.

We’ve been seeing a higher volume of submissions lately, which is impacting review timelines. I know the wait isn’t ideal - while I don’t have a specific timeline to share, your plugin is definitely in line and hasn’t been missed.

There’s nothing you need to do for now, the team will reach out via email as soon as it’s been reviewed, whether that’s with approval or feedback.

Thanks again for your patience while we work through the queue, really appreciate it 🙏

Hi, @Celyn_L

Awesome, thanks for looking into it!
Really appreciate the quick response. Will wait for the update 👍

Hi,

I've resubmitted the plugin after receiving feedback about an issue. I’ve implemented the necessary fixes and the new version is ready.

https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1616746034069306278

Given that it has been 30+ days since the initial submission, I’m hoping we can fast-track the final approval. Please let me know if you need anything else from my end to move this forward.

Thanks for your time.

Hi @Semantix Design, thanks for resubmitting your plugin for review so quickly!

I completely understand the urgency here. I can confirm that the team has received your resubmission. I’m not able to share a specific timeline or position in the queue right now, but rest-assured that it is actively awaiting review.

Our team works through submissions as quickly and thoughtfully as possible, and you’ll receive an email update as soon as there’s a decision. At this point, there isn’t anything further needed from you. I know it’s not ideal, but it’s just a bit more time while the review progresses. Thanks again for hanging in there.

@djv  Is it possible to piggy back this comment and see where my plugin “Brevity” stands in the review queue? It’s been approx more than three weeks. Thanks for any input!

Update: Good news, I see in the backend that your resource, Brevity — Character Auditor, has been approved.
As all requests have been addressed here, I’ve gone ahead and closed the thread here.

Thank you again for your patience, and we appreciate your contribution to the Figma community!
