I am on a Figma Edu plan for myself, and enabled the related settings in an article Manage MCP connectors for the Figma agent and Figma MakeHowever, I still cannot create any custom connectors (MCPs) in Figma Make since its button is gray. I have waited for a while already. 

Hi!Hi!I just updated Figma (126.8.18) and now I have huge problems with simply copying and pasting objects, images, icons or text. When I copy and paste an object (on the left) in to a folder (see dark box on the right) it completely breaks the properties and decimal values. It stretches images and the auto width text feature breaks too and is set to Fixed size with a random / broken decimal value.It happens across all Figma projects. I’ve reset Figma and restarted the application and Mac.Help / Troubleshooting / Reset Figma and RestartCan anyone help?Thanx / F

This seems to only occur for bigger sizes like 3000x2000.I tried using the 'Import big images' plugin but that just makes the images look like a broken TV screen. I allowed extract canvas data for Figma, so I believe the availability of canvas data shouldn't be an issue.It’s not low quality because its a preview, because when export it, it’s still low quality.I’ve tried increasing the export size multiplier. It didn’t solve the issue.Scaling the image doesn't solve it either.

Hi all,new org admin here, so bear with me. I have trouble organizing the users in my instance to specific teams and user groups. I do plan to use groups for SSO config, so will add groups to team access. What i am really missing, is there a way to see specific user membership in team and/or group without exporting csv? Like when you click on one user details, you should be able to see which Teams user has access to, additionally, imagine having the info, on the type of access for each Team.

Hi Figma team,I’m posting here because I’m really hoping someone from the Figma team can help me with an unexpected annual renewal.Today, I was charged $433.92 USD for the annual renewal of a Figma Professional workspace.This workspace belonged to a work team that stopped actively using Figma around Aug 2026. When the team stopped using the workspace, I unfortunately forgot to downgrade the plan and check the billing status. Since we were no longer using it, I also completely forgot that the annual subscription was still active and set to renew.I only realized this today when I saw the $433.92 charge.I understand that it was my responsibility to downgrade the workspace earlier, and I’m not blaming Figma for the renewal. It was genuinely an oversight on my side.However, $433.92 is a significant and unexpected expense for me, especially for a workspace that our team is no longer using. Hi everyone, does anyone know how Figma handles AI-content provenance when generating and exporting images? For example, Nano Banana uses SynthID, while other models may use C2PA metadata or Content Credentials. However, I can’t find any Figma documentation explaining:Whether these provenance signals are preserved when an image is exported from Figma, Whether Figma adds its own machine-readable marking, Which standard Figma uses to comply with Article 50(2) of the EU AI ActHas Figma published anything about this, or has anyone tested exports from the different models available in Figma? I couldn't find anything so far?

I have a component for form options that on some occasions needs a tooltip. The problem is that if you set the text layer to Hug, the text will not wrap for narrow content areas. And if set to Fill, it pushes the icon component. I really just want it to function like html <p> My text label <span>[icon]<span></p>Because of this issue, designers need to detach the core component just to add a tooltip (and the they use the incorrect icon size and style). Or they are just slapping the icon and moving it over the component just so it ‘looks’ like its at the end of the paragraph. This is frustrating me to no end. Figma is supposed to be a tool to create web interfaces, yet the most basic of web features, inline-block text isn’t possible to accomplish. Is there a hack? 

Last weekend I was able to prompt the AI agent in canvas to create a prototype, with basic interactions, right on my file. Today, the chatbot says it can’t add interactions, and I have to do it myself, or use Figma Make. Is this a bug or a feature? Figma Make creates prototypes but when copying it to your Design file, it only copies the UI and not the interactions created. Could you let me know if this is a feature so that I can move on to Claude Design for prototypes?Thanks!

I’m trying to connect a custom MCP client directly to the Figma Remote MCP Server:https://mcp.figma.com/mcpI understand that Figma’s documentation currently says only clients listed in the MCP Catalog can connect.Could someone from Figma confirm:Is there currently a supported process for a custom MCP client to connect to the Remote MCP Server? If so, is any registration, approval, or specific Figma plan required? For a custom client requiring OAuth, should a Figma OAuth App Client ID/Client Secret be used, or does the Remote MCP Server use a different OAuth flow?I’m specifically asking about a custom MCP client connecting to Figma's Remote MCP Server, not creating a custom MCP connector inside Figma Make or Figma Agent.Thanks!

I’m trying to share a Figma Make prototype for user testing. It needs to be available for anyone to view and the full screen version without the prompt on left side.I’ve tried multiple versions and tested within Google Incognito to confirm it will work for any user and so far three things have happened:Login required page displayed Loading screen displayed but never generates prototype Error displayed saying “live preview not available.”Two processes I’ve already tried:Click the play button (which generates full screen version) > click “share” > adjust access to “anyone can view” > click “copy link” Click the play button (which generates full screen version) > click “share” > adjust access to “anyone can view” > copy link directly from address bar. Anyone have a fix for this? 

We have a graphic with 2 frames that are using the glass effect.  (see screenshot: original).  ~ when it is selected and dragged / copied, it duplicates fine (see A)~ when it is copy / pasted within the figma design or between two separate figma designs, the glass effect opacity is lost. (see B) hoping there is an easy solution that i can’t find…..thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,​I'm having trouble reverifying my Figma Education status and hoping to get advice or assistance from support/community members who have faced a similar issue.​I submitted the required documentation to confirm my current enrollment, but my application was rejected, and I have now reached the maximum number of automated submission attempts via SheerID.​Documents Submitted:​School ID: Provided (note: my university does not print expiration dates on physical IDs, which SheerID lists as an unacceptable standalone document).​Certificate of Registration: Submitted for the current semester showing my active student status, full name, and institution details.​Tuition Receipt: Submitted to show proof of payment and current term enrollment.​Despite providing official documents showing my active enrollment for this term, the automated system flags the attempt as insufficient or expired, likely due to the lack of an expiration date on the ID card itself.

I have a chip component in our design system library (1 text layer + 2 icon instances). When I make changes to it and publish, then accept the update in our project files, the text and icon overrides on all instances reset to the defaults. It's used in about 1,000 places.Is there a way to prevent this, or to recover the overrides? Has anyone found a reliable workflow for updating components at this scale?

Hi there, I’m troubleshooting building a suite of evergreen ad campaign assets in Buzz. The only things that should ever need to change are the copy for my offer and the brand logo featured.As I poured over the assets from a prebuilt library, I’m noticing that some of the title copy (that will never need to be edited) has differentiated itself in the bulk edit spreadsheet, in spite of being identical to its siblings.  The right-hand column “flash offer” randoms should be living in the column to the left.It doesn’t look like there’s a way for me to brute-force this by pasting them into the proper column. What could I have done wrong to make them separate like this, and how can I avoid it as I try to build this suite for my team? There are quite a few assets with this issue and I’d like to fix it entirely rather than just hide both columns.  My goal is to create various template sizes:LinkedIn / Meta: 1080×1080 6Sense / Google: 300 x 250 / 300 x 600 / 160 x 600 / 728 x 90 / 320 x 50 / 300 x 60 Email: 848 x 244 and 848 × 244 In Figma Buzz, I want to be able to go from:1080 x 1080 > 300 x 250 > 300 x 600 848 x 244 > 848 × 244 728 x 90 > 320 x 50 > 300 x 60 In Figma Buzz, the issues I’m having:I have a triangle vector shape with 3 layers (3 different colors) and when I change the template size from 1080 > 300, that vector shape doesn’t adjust accordingly. I’ve created a flatten version of it, created a component and set the comp to scale/scale, nothing is working. What constraints am I supposed to be using for vector shapes that are group and that have been turned into a component? I made sure that the inner most layers are set to scale. I tested using a png of the same image and For the logo that is going on each of the templates, when I change the template size the logo moves slightly out of its position.

I am trying to create a workflow for bulk changing sub-headlines, and resizing for marketing creatives. I am unable to generate an editable content/image bank despite naming the fields correctly and also locking the layers that should not be subjected to an edit once a spreadsheet is uploaded with the sub-headline variations. Need some guidance on this front.
