I have a component that displays two action icons on hover. This is actually a commonly used standard behaviour. The hover is instant. The actions are Settings and Delete. However, when I leave the hover with mouse leave, the icons remain visible, which they should not, as the component does not display these icons by default (they are hidden).But that only happens when I hover over the actions. As long as I don't "touch" them, the parent component works as expected.Where is the mistake?  

Hello.I don’t really understand the difference between text background and gradient background messages in color contrast feature of figma. In which case and why it shows these messages. In attached images the properties of the texts are the same but contrast messages are different and I can’t really understand why. Thanks in advance

Hello Figma Team / Community,I’m facing an issue accessing my Figma account.I originally signed up using my previous company’s Google account (which is now suspended because the company has shut down). As a result, I no longer have access to that email address and can’t receive password reset or verification links.Now I’m stuck because: Figma only allows email changes through confirmation on the old (suspended) address. Support replies are also being sent to that same old email, so I can’t see any responses. When using Figma, how can I let outside contractors work on some design files while keeping certain components or libraries private for my internal team?

I have already made a prototype and found that the first two slides are not displayed when I present the project. I have found information that I need to set the "starting frame" on the slide I want. However, even though I have more than two slides and there are connections between the slides, the button is still missing.

Hello. I have canceled my subscription more than a month ago, and removed my full seats as well although I got charged for a seat that I don’t use before 3 days. Even if I login to figma I would still see the same,  no full seats as well as free plan. So, why I go charged ? On top of that I want full refund on the amount.

Hello, there is a problem - when running through the program, a solid black screen appears on the desktop, while buttons such as minimize, close and shrink the screen -it all works, I assume other buttons also work, but everything is flooded with black. Logging into the figma account through the browser, everything appears and works fine, the problem is only in the program on the desktop. I rebooted the computer, reinstalled the Figma, but the problem did not solve, please tell me what to do, it is more convenient to work through the program separately than switching between browser tabs. 

Hi! I am new to Figma and trying to make a drop down menu. I made a test frame, put the asset in it and presented it to try it out, There is a blank screen. What did I do wrong/how can I fix it?

I’ve tried several times to verify my student account, but each attempt says I’ve exceeded the limit for the student plan. When I use old verification links, they’re expired, forcing me to start over.I’ve also contacted SheerID multiple times, but they keep sending the same automated response:They mentioned missing details like “No Program ID,” “No Verification ID,” and “External User ID Not Present,” but I don’t understand what these mean or how to fix them.Could you please help reset my verification attempts or guide me on how to start fresh? I am the admin and sole Full Seat in an enterprise/company account. Lately I feel like Figma changed the way they do permissions but I can’t put my finger on it. I saw a thread where people reported users getting 3-day access when they request an upgrade (I am truly shocked -- that is a huge security and file integrity risk). I don’t think I’ve come across that yet but I’m very stressed at the prospect. Today’s weird details:Someone I’ve never heard of in my company requested to edit a file, and I clicked DENY (I’m the only designers and closely guard the files). In fact I don’t remember anyone ever requesting to edit a file, and I’ve gotten TWO edit requests this week. I went into admin to double check, and there was this guy listed with a FULL SEAT. I hovered over it and it said he was manually approved by me just before! I need a single line of text to fit within a container without wrapping, breaking the boundary, or truncating. I need the text to get smaller when it gets too long to fit, either by reducing font size or overall scale. The text is dynamic, so I can’t reliably tell how long it will be to pick an ideal font size. Things I’ve tried: Standard left and right with top and bottom constraints, but if the text becomes too long, it wraps and breaks the boundary or truncates. Using text auto width with scale constraints, but the text just grows outside the boundary. Using text auto width then wrapping it with an auto layout, thinking the layout could hug the text and use scale constraints to get smaller, but hug resizing and scale constraints are mutually exclusive. Is there any way to do this dynamically?

Hi everyone,So I have an assignment due till 12pm. However, when I try and access my designs on figma, I just get a grey screen.I tried clearing all browser data on safari (that didn‘t work), I then tried if I would see anything on the App (that didn‘t work), I then deleted the app, restarted the ipad and re-downloaded the figma app - no success. I then installed Firefox - that didn‘t work. I then tried it via chrome (also tried clearing the cache there - neither worked). Nothing worked. None of my own designs nor those shared with me work. I ran out of option 2 attempts ago. Slowly losing hope. Can anyone help? Please?

I can’t figure out how to change the layout of an existing slide in Figma Slides. When creating a new slide, I can choose a layout from the theme, but once the slide is added, I can’t find a way to switch it to a different layout.Am I missing something? Often, I realize later that a different layout would work better and want to apply one of the theme’s template layouts to an existing slide—but I don’t see an option to do that. The only option I can find is “Template Style,” which seems to change only text styles and colors, not the layout itself.Is there a way to reapply or change slide layouts after a slide has been created?

I have a button as shown below, it contains an icon on the left hand side configured as a nested component. The size of the icon in the button component below is 20x20px. The size of the icon itself (as an individual component) is 24x24px. My icons are made up of a bunch of strokes, and all icons as their individual component have their stroke width at 1.5px, in the button component it is 1.25px (as scaling from 24x24px to 20x20px scales 1.5 to 1.25). When I change the nested component instance to another icon, the new icon should remain at 1.25px, however the new icon is at 1.5px. I’ve tried changing all of my icon’s constraints to scale but that didn’t seem to do anything. TLDR: I want my nested components to resize but also scale accordingly as I change the nested component instance. Right now it’s only resizing them. Been stuck on this for quite some time, and I’m not sure if this is a bug or if I’m doing anything wrong. Would love some help.
