Apparently I’ve been getting charged $20/ month on top of paying an annual subscription. The only way to (maybe) stop getting charged is to change my permissions to “view” only. So now I can’t use my own Figma account I’ve been overpaying for.  Their billing UI makes NO sense which I assume is to trick/force me into paying more. I REALLY want a refund for what I was overcharged and my time wasted.

Good afternoon. I created a component with a drop-down list. The component itself is working correctly, but when transferred to the screen, the list opens up. How can I fix this, please tell me?

While exploring Figma, I noticed what appears to be a behavior where items inside an Auto Layout frame can be freely dragged and positioned anywhere within the frame while still remaining part of the Auto Layout. This seems like a useful feature, but I'm not able to use it in my own files.Could you please let me know if this is an available feature? If so, I would appreciate it if you could explain how to enable and use it. If it's only available under certain conditions, settings, or in a specific version of Figma, I'd be grateful for any guidance.  

Hi!I was charged today, July 14 with billing date of June 27 to July 27, for an unwanted Figma subscription that I haven't used in about three weeks. My open ticket number is #2014086. I thought I had canceled this earlier, but I just finalized the cancellation today.Could someone please help me with a refund? Also, how long does it typically take to receive a response and have the refund processed?Thanks!

AI has become a regular part of my design workflow, but I've found that different tools are useful at different stages of a project rather than trying to do everything in one place.For example:ChatGPT for brainstorming user flows, UX copy, and content ideas. Perplexity for quickly researching competitors or design patterns. GitHub Copilot when I'm working closely with developers or reviewing front-end code. Figma AI for speeding up repetitive design tasks inside Figma.Recently, I've also been looking at local AI tools instead of relying only on cloud-based services. One example is LekhAI, which focuses on running AI models locally. While it's not a replacement for Figma, I can see potential use cases like generating early design concepts, organizing ideas, or experimenting with AI without sending everything to a cloud service. Privacy and offline access could be useful for teams working with sensitive projects.That said, I don't think there's a single AI tool that fits every designer.

Hello,I accidentally purchased the Professional Annual Plan ($192) instead of the monthly plan today.I contacted Figma Support immediately after the purchase and received a support ticket confirmation email.I have not used Figma at all since the purchase because I'm waiting for the support team's response.I understand that refund requests are reviewed individually, but I was wondering how long it usually takes to receive a reply from Figma Support.If anyone has had a similar experience, I'd really appreciate hearing how long it took for you to get a response.Thank you!

Dear support team,How can I create a graphic in this format using Figma's AI? I have product images and descriptions, but how can AI help me generate such images? Currently, I haven't seen similar tutorials on other platforms (like red from Chinese social platform), and I'm unsure if purchasing Figma's AI/advanced version is worth it. So, I'd like to consult you first. Or, could you provide a trial version for a few days? 

Hi everyone!We are new to Figma using Styles and we don’t know really well how they work. Is there any way we can save (import/export) text and color styles as a library? Something like Photoshop has?Are text and color styles stored in each of the Figma Files? So if we want to copy some styles, we need to duplicate the Figma file that has those styles and start from there?  Thanks a lot!!  

I hope I’m phrasing my question correctly. How do I reset a button to it's default instance in the preview? I want it to go to it's default instance by clicking outside it, but I don't know how to do it. Like when you click a search bar & the cursor blinks & the bar stays highlighted until you click anywhere else beside it. Any suggestions would be very helpful, thank you.

I’m trying to understand the current plugin monetization requirements for Figma Community.I have two questions:The documentation says that paid resources can only be published by “individual creators”.Does this mean that in the final publishing step under Author (Share as), only Individual creator can be selected, and Team  cannot be used for paid plugins?If a plugin has already been published under a Team, can the publishing author later be changed to an Individual creator to enable monetization?The documentation also mentions that creators must be “approved to sell on Community”.How is this approval obtained currently?Is there an application form, waitlist, onboarding process, or is it enabled automatically for eligible creators?

I am currently trying to follow along with a presentation and trying to present my prototype, but when I do I only get a device with a blank screen. If I click somewhere it’ll show me what I can click highlighted in blue on the phone screen, but it just remains black. I have my fill at 100% opacity and it is white.This is what it looks like if I have no device selected. With a device selected it looks like this. If I click anywhere in the presentation screen it’ll highlight blue where the buy and sell buttons are located in the last picture, but won’t display anything. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Is it possible to have a Figma prototype run on more than one screen at a time? For example, a three monitor set up where the central monitor can trigger files/windows to be open on the screens on either side?

I used Generate in Figma Weave with Kling AI Avatar. The interface showed progress and the run finished, but no image, card, file, or notification appeared.I checked the canvas, History, recent generations, project files, and assets. The History entry was completely blank.My runs are marked “succeeded,” but there was no visible output, and credits were deducted.I would like help reviewing the missing output and the credit deduction.

Hi everyone,I have a few questions about Figma Motion.Is it not possible to use curved position paths in Figma Motion?As far as I can tell, there does not seem to be a way to adjust a position path with Bezier handles or a similar path-editing method, beyond using position keyframes.The only workaround I found was to overlap movement keyframes with position animation to create a curved motion, but this feels inconvenient and limited in terms of customization.Apologies if I simply missed the feature.Is it possible to animate variant changes?It would be very useful if there were a way to change variants using something like hold keyframes.I also looked into whether variables could be used for this, but at least in my case, I could not find a way to make it work.In prototyping, is there a way to make a Motion animation play only on a specific action, such as click or hover?I wanted to create an animation where an overlay appears on click, but when the overlay opens, I cannot reset the pla

I wish there was a way that a layer (whether it is a frame, group, shape, component or text) to follow a set path (and that you can offset the X and/or Y), so things like this are possible to make: 

So, I am trying new motion features and wanted to try to move shapes around the circle. But noticed that path animation and pen tool are greyed out. Are these features going to be added later or am I doing something wrong? Do I need some certain pluging for them to work?

Hi Figma team, I'd like to apply to become an approved seller to publish a paid plugin on Figma Community using Figma's native payment system. The plugin is an accessibility audit tool: it scans a design file against WCAG 2.2 / EN 301 549 criteria and generates a client-ready report (UI + PDF export). Planned model: freemium — free tier stays fully functional, full report and PDF export behind a subscription paywall via the Payments API. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion.
