In many icon systems (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music), play icons are not mathematically centered inside circles. They are optically centered. Today most designers fix this manually by nudging shapes until they “look centered”. I'm collecting perceptual data to better understand how people visually perceive centering.   Both of my projects started showing this warning today while using Figma Make. The warning appears in the console and points to a React issue. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Any insights or solutions would be appreciated.   

Hi Everyone, Hope everyone is doing good. Just used Figma make which is awsme. Do any one have idea about the limitation in Figma make prompt. Number of usage. 

I have a new branch and adding slots to some of libraries container components starting with modals. Set up and implmentation is fine but I added instructions to the slot description panel and I can’t seem to see how the designers are able to read them? When you select a slot in an instance you see two lines of text then it truncates, clicking the content does not open the rest of the instructions in a fly out and there seems to be no way to access the rest of the content. Am I missing something?  

Hello, the work I was working on suddenly disappeared yesterday. I wasn't on the move, and I looked at the project and the trash can, but it's not in thereI also left a 1:1 inquiry (#1788905) because it's an important work piece and needs to be restored as soon as possible. Hello, I verified my Figma account to my school email address account. However, I prefer to put it on my personal email account (but verified with my school email). Can I transfer plans to my personal account?

This is just a bug report (if this belongs somewhere else happy to submit this there) The Mobile Product Review Slides template uses Whyte as the title font but that’s unavailable for most users. I’ve been using IBM Plex Serif as a replacement, but anyway, worth changing so users don’t run into this bug in the future.

Hi, I’m having trouble prototyping something and can’t seem to find a clear answer online. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great. I’m creating a component with text and a photo that has two variants, and I’m using a toggle to switch between them. What I want to happen is:the photo smart animates (rotates between the two variants) the text changes instantly (no smart animate) At the moment, smart animate is affecting both the photo and the text, but I don’t like how the text animates. I’m fairly new to Figma and struggling to figure out the best way to do this, especially since I know I can’t assign two different click interactions to the same toggle. Thanks in advance!

This seems like a silly question. I’ve been using Figma for many years and I still don’t know how to do this:How you normally create an image fill is to drag or upload an image into the fill panel. BUT, HOW THE HECK DO YOU USE AN IMAGE THAT EXISTS ON THE CANVAS? Do you literally have to export it and then bring it back in? 

I created a component library that has been used for some people. But when i make a little change in the main component respecting then layers names, or just change de auto-layout typograph people say that when they update the document the instance override to the content in the main component. I already tested in my own file and it doesn't happened anything. I don't know what to do anymore.

I’ve tried to add an embed in which I’ve added the html code from my tally form but I’m not able to add this to a button inside my navbar in order for the user to access the form. Does anyone have any idea about how this might work? A workaround or any suggestion about how I can achieve this would be great. Also any idea when forms will be something easier to do in figma sites? I would have guessed that by now this would be already a feature supported, as many sites have forms or pop-ups, overlays and so on.The other solution is just to make another page with that form but still I would be an ember and not something more integrated in the figma world.

Hi Figma team,We upgraded to a Org plan from a Pro plan last week.I submitted a ticket last week to Figma about guidance on how to transfer the entire account (users and content) to the new plan but I haven’t heard back from anyone.We’ve been billed annually for the new Org plan and an invoice was issued.Our old Pro plan will automatically renew on 24 March and I am concerned that we will end up double-paying.I have looked the KB articles and I have asked our users to backup their content but I need support and guidance from the support team to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.Can someone please escalate this urgently?#1780716#1786242Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I might be the idiot here, but I always forget how Figma handles updates. I’ll briefly see the prompt letting me know an update is available, which makes me think it requires some action from me (as most of the programs I use do.) If I miss the prompt, I struggle to either manually update or confirm whether the update happened in the background.I am using the desktop app for Mac. I think what I’ve gathered, and correct me if I’m wrong:If I don’t see any prompt about updating, Figma is up to date. Always assume by default that I am up to date, it happens automatically. The prompt disappears when the update is complete.I had something to do today when I saw the prompt, so I didn’t read the entire message. Maybe it literally says I don’t have to do anything, I just missed it cause I was busy. 😅 In which case, my bad!Another question I have is:Is there any way to compare my version number with the release notes?

Hello! I have submitted Figma plugin for the review, but I did not get any confirmation email or any communication it went through. I saw in the docs it says 5-10 days, but I am not sure if it got received correctly?Also, another question, I just found out there is another plugin that is called Framify (which was published a month ago), would that be a good reason to deny my plugin, because it’s also called same name? I wonder if I would have to redo everything, or how would people be able to differentiate? Any recommendations, suggestions?  Here are the screens for my plugin. 

Auto-filling slot containersIs there a way for an instance added to a slot to automatically fill the slot container? For example, when I insert a row component into the slot, it keeps its fixed width instead of expanding to fill the slot.Selecting a preferred instance variantWhen setting a preferred instance for a slot, it seems like I can only select the base component—not a specific variant. Is there currently a way to choose a specific variant as the preferred instance?The only workaround I can think of is breaking that variant out into its own component, but that feels like it defeats the purpose of variants.Am I missing something in how slots are intended to work, or are these current limitations?

Hi all, is it possible to export the entirety of the chat log for a project in Figma Make. Client is asking for it as a sort of ‘Show your work’ for how the Prototype began and what prompts were used to get it to it’s final state. Thanks in advance!

We are successful in accessing the figma remote MCP exposed at "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp" via OAuth based access via browser SSO login. We are exploring ways to automate figma MCP access in a headless mode so would like to understand passing PAT token for remote MCP authentication. We tried passing PAT in Auth headers and X-Figma-Token header but get unauthorized for remote MCP at this endpoint "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp".
