Hi, I am getting an error accessing my file "This is an unassigned draft file.” I need help trying to re-access it or to see who is currently the admin of the file. I thought it was a file I created in a group project, but I am now receiving this error. Thanks for the help!

The greyed out collections matches my real collection name, but not the number I have a “ghost” set of variable collections in my library file (greyed out, but i can see the variables).I cannot see any of my true “theming” colors in files that’s using this library. I think the ghost variable count is overriding the real collections.

Organization  A would like to do creative development in the Figma instance for Org A.  When their development is approved, they would then like to move it to Org B’s instance.  Org B is the source of truth for the current production creative.  While Org A will develop in Org A’s Figma, there will also be people directly developing in Org B’s instance.  Org A is not open to using a logically partitioned space on Org B’s instance and must use their own instance.Org A will need a sync of all production creative changes from Org B, so they can ensure they have the current creative to start with.  Is there a way to sync updated files between organizations?Is there anyway to do code versioning and control across the two instances?

Soy nuevo en el programa y tengo poco conocimiento respecto a como usar el programa. Sin embargo estoy tomando un curso por medio de Udemy el cual me esta ayudando a conocer las herramientas de FIGMA. en este momento tengo una duda respecto a las variables, pues al seleccionar un grupo de variables y querer duplicarlo no me permite realizar la acción y tengo que crear un nuevo grupo de manera manual, en lugar de duplicarlo. si doy doble click o utilizo los comando simplemente no sucede nada y no me arroja opciones. me gustaría saber como puedo solucionarlo o si es una herramienta que ya no esta disponible en el programa 

Hi all,My team is trying to connect Figma and GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent (not GitHub's local VSCode coding agent). Our end goal is enabling the cloud coding agent to access Figma MCP tools like  “get_code”/”get_design_context”. Since there's no public plans yet on any direct connection between the two, I have questions about potential alternatives:Are there any plans or current capabilities for Figma MCP to support a PAT or API based authorization? This would be incredibly useful for apps that don't use Oauth like GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent. how can I escalate a ticket that was opened for over 48 hours?

We are using the licensed Font Awesome in our team. Recently I started to use Figma Make but it turns all the FA icons into regular text. I have flatten the icons to shape layer before adding to Figma Make; but it’s not very sustainable for the long run. Has anyone managed to connect FA or any other font in the FM guidelines?

I am using Figma Desktop MCP with VSCode and I am trying to build a complete prototype (POC) of an app based on designs. So I have created an agent with some instuctions like to get this page node which contains many desings. I have instructed the Agent to use get_metadata, as the page contains many designs and if run get_design_context in the page node it will fallback to get_metadata anyhow. The problem here is that together with the ouput content of the ge t_metadata there is also a note:“IMPORTANT: After you call this tool, you MUST call get_design_context if trying to implement the design, since this tool only returns metadata. If you do not call get_design_context, the agent will not be able to implement the design.” Issue with this is that if the get_design_context after the get_metadata it picks only the first design it sees. Hi everyone,I recently upgraded to a Professional Plan, which is advertised as being "for small teams." However, I'm having a bit of trouble with the permissions.Even though I have the subscription, it seems only one person (myself) can edit the files. Everyone else I invite only gets "view-only" access unless I pay an additional fee for them.Since the plan is marketed for teams, I expected that it would allow more than one person to edit files under the same base subscription. Is this the correct behavior for the Professional Plan, or am I missing a configuration step to enable my team members as editors?Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm creating a Text Input and I have an icon that can change to a badge, for example. However, when I swap the icon for the badge, it inherits the border radius from the Text Input's property and doesn't keep the badge's.Example: The Instance Swap has 0px, and the badge has a 4px border radius. When I do the instance swap, the badge appears with a 0px border radius and not the 4px defined for the badge. And this happens with any other component I swap.Is there a way to make the Instance Swap retain the characteristics of the component chosen in the swap?

Our web vs. our Figma componentHi everyone,I’m looking for a better way to maintain consistent widths for component instances across responsive breakpoints (Tablet/Mobile).Currently, everything works perfectly on Desktop where instance widths are fixed. However, the layout breaks when using min-width and max-width for smaller screens. I’ve experimented with Layout Grids, but they leave awkward empty spaces below when an instance's visibility is toggled off.I’ve considered making every single row toggleable, but that feels like a bloated, confusing experience for the designers using the library.Does anyone have a solid workflow or a "holy grail" file for handling these responsive group cases? For the past few months I’ve been able to see my images on my file but for the past few days all the previews have disappeared & I’ve tried to update Figma, update my computer, clear my Figma cache and nothing has worked. The images are still within the Figma but I just can’t view them

Hi, everyone! I got a new phone, installed the Figma mobile app on it, and logged in, but every time I try to use the Mirror function, I get this error, saying Update or switch browsers. I tried everything, updated the browsers, switched between Opera and Chrome, logged in and out and nothing seemed to work. (My phone is Xiaomi Mi9 lite, with Android 10) Do you have any idea how to resolve this issue?

I often use the Tab key to navigate back and forth between various text objects on the screen.But now the behavior seems kind of random. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it just tells me “no text suggestions found”, and other times it indents the text. I have toggled off “show text suggestions” in the hopes of removing the “no text suggestions” behavior, but it still happens.Has any one figured out the logic behind the Tab key??

Hi team, we have been prototyping some fairly complex web app concepts, and just wanted to understand what happens as we get into really high version numbers (e.g. up version 95 in the one I am looking at right now) – would like some understanding/reassurance of the limits before we really start orienting our prototyping process around Figma Make.Is there a limit on how many prompts a single file can have? Are there any risks in having a file with very high numbers of versions? I saw another post saying their file stopped being able to iterate at version 900 because of how large the prompt was getting (with all the history). Is there a way to “fork” a new file, and this file effectively restarts at version 0 – I was surprised that duplicating retains all the previous versions.Slightly worried about the usage limits of roughly 80 prompts per month – I could do this in a morning! I created my Figma account yesterday and recently verified it as a student account. However, I’m currently unable to access Dev Mode, which I was hoping to use to better understand the design-to-code workflow. I also tried creating a team first and then upgrading it, but the option was not free as expected.Given this situation, I would like to ask whether schools are supposed to have an education plan that includes full access to Figma features such as Dev Mode for students. I want to make sure I’m not missing a required step or institutional setup to properly access these tools.

Hey all, I am finally getting round to trialing out Code Connect, Figma MCP and the like to see how it all works and if there are any noticeable benefits to these features for my wider team.I had some issues initially setting up, but have finally gotten to the point where I can connect them to GitHub, for testing  purposes I am using the Figma Design System and corresponding coded components. However when connected, I get this error, and I am unsure how to fix it. Has anyone come across this before, and any advice on how to resolve? Thanks!  

I’ve added a prototype to my slide, but it is quite obviously pixelated. The frame for the prototype is 1512x982. The prototype looks fine on it’s own, but once it’s placed in slides, it seems like it gets downscaled, specifically to 400x259. Any ideas on what I’m missing? Attached are three pictures: 1. The view directory from the prototype, 2. Immediately after adding to Slides, and 3. I am not able to rotate gradients when I add the swatches from the Variables, however if they are not linked to the variables there’s no issue.

 I don’t understand what exactly happened but I copied the main component and pasted in the other file. But something went wrong and the main component lost it’s crucial variable that still remains in the copied/pasted component in the other files without changing the main component (I believe).    This is the main component in my design system library. And it’s missing the variable, which for some reason remains in the pasted component below.   But if I click the update icon, the variable in the RED rectangle disappears like the main component above.How can I revert the main component to have this variable back?

Our team is noticing that our main design system library is having hundreds of changes flagged in the publishing panel, even after a weekend of not working on the library. The panel shows what’s modified, removed, or added, but isn’t clear what the changes are or what caused them. It’s scary publishing these types of updates because they aren’t coming from our team. Is this something being caused by Figma? How can we feel comfortable publishing so many changes when we weren’t even the ones making them?
