Hi, I want to duplicate a file but doing so doesn’t duplicate version history. A newly duplicated file has no history at all. Is there any way to export version history or make it duplicate as well along with the file?If Figma doesn’t provide such a functionality is there any plugin you can recommend? I have a quite big files with around 500 versions and “Figma Comments & Version History Exporter” plugin seems to support only small files (around 200 versions looks to be the limit). Cheers

I’ve recently launched a site built via Figma/Figma to Web and successfully indexed it on Google Search Console using a custom domain. However, I am hitting a wall with Bing Webmaster Tools and Yahoo.Current Setup & Steps Taken: Domain Management: Handled via Cloudflare. Sitemaps: Submitted via Bing Webmaster Tools; the status shows "Success," but the URLs remain unindexed after several days. Indexing Strategy: I’ve attempted using Cloudflare Workers to manage the transition/headers, but Bingbot doesn't seem to be crawling the actual content effectively. Status: Google is live and crawling fine; Bing/Yahoo shows zero presence. The Problem: Despite the sitemap being accepted, the pages aren't being indexed. I am relatively new to the technical side of SEO

Hi everyone, I ran out of AI credits in Figma while working on my website and now I can’t continue using the AI features. Is there any way to keep editing the project without them, or switch back to normal editing mode? Also, do credits reset or can they be topped up somehow? Thanks!

We have these two variations to support hover interactions. When the text is changed while using this component upon changing to the hover variant the underline text styling is not getting applied. Also, Figma stopped supporting changing the text styling on the linked text labels. This has become very painful for us in alot of our components text properties were linked to keep it the same across various variants but their styling were changing which now can’t happen.Is this a bug..? 

We need to amend our subscription package under the Enterprise contract. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. We’re trying to connect Figma’s official remote MCP server to AWS Bedrock AgentCore Gateway for an internal enterprise AI workflow.We can discover the MCP/OAuth metadata correctly, but dynamic client registration to https://api.figma.com/v1/oauth/mcp/register returns 403 Forbidden, and existing Figma PAT/service-token auth is rejected by https://mcp.figma.com/mcp because it requires the mcp:connect OAuth scope.Our use case is not a public MCP client or IDE plugin. It is a secured internal gateway that already handles Auth0 user authentication and routes to Jira, GitHub, Lucid, and Figma tools. We would like to use the official Figma MCP instead of maintaining a REST-based workaround.Is there a supported path for enterprise/internal AgentCore gateways to obtain an approved mcp:connect OAuth client, or to register an internal/private MCP client that is not listed publicly in the Figma MCP Catalog?

I have a confetti animation created using interactive components with 66 sequential frames connected using a 1 ms delay. It works fine until I trigger an Open overlay / Close overlay animation on the same screen. The confetti pauses until the overlay animation finishes.Is there any workaround to keep both animations running simultaneously in the prototype?

I’ve got a pretty simple component with five variants (essentially an icon that changes color), and each one is set on-click to change to the next one (A to B, B to C, C to D, D to E, E to A).But for some reason, actually clicking in the prototype, it seems to get stuck on the third variant, and toggles back to the second instead of going to the fourth. I’ve tried deleting the interaction and recreating it and the same thing happens.Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?

Hi everyone, we have a dedicated icon library for our design system, but Figma Make is currently unable to fetch icons from it. Because of this, the screens generated by Make don’t always use our DS icons correctly.Has anyone found a reliable workaround or solution for this?

I’m working with Figma Variables and trying to understand how variable references behave across collections and modes.I currently have two variable collections:Tier 2 (semantic tokens) Tier 3 (component-specific tokens)Both collections have two variable modes/themes:Mode 1 (default) Mode 2Here’s my issue:Inside the Tier 3 collection, I want to reference a variable from the Tier 2 collection — but specifically the value from Mode 2, not the default mode.However, when I create a reference in Tier 3 to a Tier 2 variable, Figma seems to only reference/show the default mode value from Tier 2.My questions are:Is it possible to explicitly reference a specific mode from another collection? If mode-to-mode mapping is required, what is the correct setup to ensure Tier 3 Mode 2 pulls from Tier 2 Mode 2?

So I’m using Figma Make to develop an app, have been working on it for months now and everything has been going really well so far. I was backing up to Github and then pushing to Vercel to deploy to my app, was great, everything working smoothly, I had testers working on it and surprised at how it was running so well.That was until the 22nd April (Sydney time) Figma Make decided to move all my files from the /src/ folder to a brand now /src/app/ folder without any notice and my deployments started breaking. It took me a while, but comparing github commits and noticing there was a huge file list in one of them being moved, I finally figured out the root cause of the problem. I am trying to connect to MCP dev server to Claude from the Desktop app, and I just don’t see the option anywhere. I looked all over in Preferences, and I tried clicking Shift + D in my project to toggle the interface, and nothing happens. I’m not seeing the toolbar at the bottom either. I have a full seat in this project, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I updated to the latest server, and even tried the beta app just in case. Any thoughts?

Hello,  I recently submitted my public OAuth app for review, and have included a testing URL and detailed instructions for the team to test with, but I had a fundamental question about testing - if the app is not approved, that means the OAuth flow will only work for my own account (i.e. the same account that submitted the app). For the OAuth flow to work for any other Figma login, the app has to be published in public mode. If that is the case, how will the review team be able to test the app before it is approved? What am I missing here?

Hi everyone,I used to copy an image (Ctrl+C from browser or local folder) and then paste it (Ctrl+V) directly into an image component in Figma - like for cards or avatar images - and it would automatically replace the image.But recently, this no longer works. When I try pasting, nothing happens. Now Figma only shows options like “Upload from computer” or “Make an image” (screenshot attached).I’m wondering: is this a recent change or bug in Figma?Is there still a way to paste an image directly into a component without having to upload it manually?Thanks in advance!
