Hey there, I’m looking into a component in DevMode and I noticed that when opening the playground, if I change the variable mode, the fonts aren’t changing, like the colors for example. In design mode, by changing the variable it all works just fine. Is this a known issue, are there any solutions…? Thank you!

I was conducting a usability test using a Figma prototype. It was a remote session on teams, so I sent the link to the participant and they opened the prototype in Microsoft Edge. The prototype loaded, however the participant was not able to click on any of the interactive buttons, it just wouldn’t work. I think tried on Chrome and it was fine. Can some help me troubleshoot the issue with Edge?
When clicking any element in dev mode the values for spacing etc. are always shown on the center of the main axis which may not be on screen which is pretty annoying: In the following image you can see the problem, only a small portion of the blue spacing name is visible (/40) and you cant see the spacing of red/pink area at all without scrolling.
I need to switch from a Professional Plan to Organization Plan in order to use the branching feature for a client that likes to snoop. I only need the Organization Plan for about six months, which is the duration of the contract. Typically my projects don’t require branching. I see that the Professional Plan is billed monthly and the Organization Plan is billed annually. So, I’m out $960 even though I only need it for half the year. And please, for the love of all that is good and holy, If you are going to have a plan bill annually, don’t show the pricing breakdown by month: https://www.figma.com/pricing/ Anyho, long story short (and this is probably a no), can we buy features month to month?
I keep facing this issue: Figma severely punishes me for my love of having many open pages. Initially, my pain was that they still haven’t added a scroll feature for tabs, as is already implemented in almost all browsers! When you have around 20 tabs open (this is an approximate number; I haven't counted), all new pages fall off the edge of the screen, making it impossible to access them without closing some of the open tabs. A particular source of frustration is when a colleague sends a link to a file, you go there, open a voice chat, and during the discussion, you need to show something from another file. You switch to that file, copy the screen, but can’t get back because that file has already gone off the edge! It’s incredibly annoying. I work on a large product with many teams and numerous files, and I like to keep these files handy, but every time I have to urgently close tabs just to return to the conversation. Hi everyone, I am fairly new at using Figma and I am running into an interaction issue on a thumbnail image tile component with an active and hover state. I replace the image on each instance by pasting a different image under the fill option. It shows the correct image when I manually switch between active and hover states on a frame but as soon as I prototype this it will always show the hover state image of the master component. It doesn`t change anything if I add the “while hovering” interaction on the instance instead of the master component. Any idea how to solve this would be much appreciated.
Hey, I have multiple accounts in Figma (personal, my company, my client’s workspace and so on) but I want to use my primary account to be used on the Ask community. However, Figma logs me to the community from my client’s company account where I’m added as a team member (different email domain). When (which I already asked with the support) will you support the account switch on the community page? (e.g. Sign in with Google → Choose account) or email/password. Currently, after login out, and clicking Log in again, you can’t access login screen that will allow you to provide email/password or connect with Google. For that need to use another browser or go to incognito mode.
So, I have a blue arrow that goes to the Tie Beam rect, and an orange arrow that goes out to another rect. But, the problem is: the incoming, blue arrow head is not rendered. Instead, it draws the orange one. I have checked the head of both arrow, as you can see, it is incorrect.
Opa galerinha, sou novo aqui na comunidade, então talvez eu esteja fazendo esse tópico da maneira errada, mas gostaria de abrir aqui tanto a discursão quanto deixar de sugestão de melhoria para o Figma que é algo que eu sinto muita falta, que são duas interações que elevariam os protótipos acredito que a outro patamar muito superior, que seria: On Dismiss: sinto falta dessa interação que o component identificasse clique fora dele, exemplo prático seria um input de texto que no click entraria em estado de focused, e quando clicasse em qualquer outro lugar da tela que não fosse o próprio component ele interpretasse esse clique fora dele, seria uma forma até de fazer também radios button de maneira mais simplificada sem ter que estar utilizando tantas variáveis para simular uma seleção única. A outra que eu sinto falta lá, é uma interação que poderia se chamar como Js: “listener” ou “EventListener”, e aí no caso ele ficaria “escutando” alguma situação, como por exemplo: Temos uma tela de
We are experiencing a weird issue in Figma where library “Text Styles” applied to text layers or component instances get detached on random. Our fix is to use a semi-automated way of selecting all text layers on a screen and then perform the “Reset text style” action. The issue is persistent and seems to happen at random - anyone experienced something similar before? There is a closed topic on what seems like the same issue, with no resolution provided - Text Styles randomly get detached from original file
Why on earth do I manually have to add up all the values from the box model to get an elements total width or height?Its just super annoying that you first have to pay for that garbage and then manually have to calculate or look up values everywhere.
