As the title states, I’ve built a prototype in Figma and when testing it on my phone links to external sites open, but take my figma app to the ‘recent’ section of the app rather than back to the prototype. Is there a way to have this not happen and stay within the prototype when opening a link? I’ve attached a video to show what I mean.

It seems that I accidentally registered guest seats that I had granted access to, and they have already been billed for a full year. This was not my intention, as I am not able to afford paying for 3 seats annually at once. I only need 1 seat to be billed annually for the next year. I’d like to ask the community if anyone has faced a similar issue. I still want to use Figma Pro, but only for one account. For the additional 2 seats added in January, I would prefer to pay for them on a monthly basis instead.

Hey Figma team/user community,I have this file that I created on my Figma account that lists me as the owner, I still can’t seem to have edit access? I don’t know if it’s another alternative account that created it but I’ve tried a few different emails. Is there a way to find out the true owner email address for the figma account that has access?Am I missing something obvious? This is the only file I can’t access.

Hi everyone,I’m creating an interactive form in Figma. The first question has 3 selectable tiles. I want an additional field to appear only if the second tile is selected.I tried using interactive components, but I’m not sure how to set it up so that the extra field only shows for that option.Any guidance or examples would be much appreciated!Thanks!

Hi all I’ve seen a lot of tutorials but I can’t find a solution for my issue.I want to create an interactive slider with 3 statuses: Off - ON - REDNow the middle status ON should be the default one.How can I drag to left and right on the same component variation?Picture show the first middle variant as default.

It’s not what I agreed to when I made these monthly purchases before that date in time. So even if I agreed to this, the program forces me to spend time fixing up what it didn’t decide to save. After multiple fail-safes I have put in.Stop. Wasting. My. The greyed out collections matches my real collection name, but not the number I have a “ghost” set of variable collections in my library file (greyed out, but i can see the variables).I cannot see any of my true “theming” colors in files that’s using this library. I think the ghost variable count is overriding the real collections.

Hi there! I have noticed a change in the behavior of annotations while zooming the canvas that is challenging our workflow.Up until the latest update, annotations would have a fixed maximum size at zoom levels between 25600% (max) and 100%. Zooming out to levels below 100%, they would start scaling down.Now however, this threshold seems to have been lowered from 100% to 50%. Why is it a problem?Because we space out our screen designs so that the gaps in between can comfortably hold annotations, no matter the zoom value.This now leads to annotations overlapping adjacent screens and blocking them visibly. Increasing the spacing is out of question because screens are already generously spread apart.Moreover, in projects with extensive documentation, where annotations stack vertically, this behavior reaches a whole new dimension (literally, the Y axis 😅). Hi! I just created a website home page with Figma AI (it should be on Figma Sites). Now, i'd like to move it to my elementor so i can use it to make my effective website.I've read that i can only do this with plugins, but it seems that i can only use plugins with Figma Design, correct?And so, i have some questions:Can i make my “Figma Sites” page become a “Figma Design” page?  If yes, can i do it for free or i should upgrade Figma license to professional?I have the free version on Figma, and on Sites it looks like i can’t even edit elements without asking AI. So i can’t see layers and all that stuff. Can you help me with that? Thanks!

I created a connected project in Figma and invited my client (we both have pro plans). My client added one of his files to collaborate with.Now we want to move his file (they created that file in their workspace a long time ago) out of our shared project again, but neither me or him are able to do so.Any ideas how to do this?

ello, I'm just learning Figma Make and I'm having problems with the prototype. The interactive Figma Make prototype sometimes opens, sometimes not. My colleagues have no problem opening it. But for me, the loader just keeps spinning. What could be the problem?

Hi, I am trying to get the dropdown box to overlap the frame below but everytime i click ‘product suite’, it auto moves everything aside display the dropdown box. Currently it is on auto-layoutHow do i get it to overlap the frame below instead and not move everything else?

I am using Figma Desktop MCP with VSCode and I am trying to build a complete prototype (POC) of an app based on designs. So I have created an agent with some instuctions like to get this page node which contains many desings. I have instructed the Agent to use get_metadata, as the page contains many designs and if run get_design_context in the page node it will fallback to get_metadata anyhow. The problem here is that together with the ouput content of the ge t_metadata there is also a note:“IMPORTANT: After you call this tool, you MUST call get_design_context if trying to implement the design, since this tool only returns metadata. If you do not call get_design_context, the agent will not be able to implement the design.” Issue with this is that if the get_design_context after the get_metadata it picks only the first design it sees. Hi! Trying to create a component that on click, rotates itself 180 degrees smoothly (and would affect another component, but that’s for later).I created two components, and linked them as a variant, with one duplicated from the other and rotated. I set in prototype for both of them, when clicked, to change to the other variation, with smart animate on. I then copied one of the variants and pasted it into my project. It seems to react when clicked on, but nothing happens to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

I am a small publisher.  Been in business for 35 yrs.  My first inventory system was on Pic/MV Base and it was a green screen inventory system for textbooks named Comtext. I didnt make it… i licensed my use and then drove that company crazy for a decade getting them , and its creator to customize it for me.  now, 35 yrs later, im a publisher and i work with professors to help them build their own custom textbooks for their courses. I really wish there was a way to export my transcript from figma make. If I am a non technical user, I need to be able to extract this transcript from time to time, to give to another AI to help evaluate what I am doing, and to document my process. There is a lot to learn from the process.  For the past hour I have been trying to copy and paste the content, but that wont work either.  I highlight huge chunks of the convo, but the way the page is structured,  only 10% of what I highlight can i paste into a document. Its a real pain!  At least let your agent see the convo transcript so we can talk through what we made before ,and the agent can talk about different versions and see back into the project history!

Hey, I new to Figma and I'm currently using the Figma MCP after designing my first frame - yeah, just a frame. I wanted to know how (well) the MCP works.I tried it with VS Code and Antigravity yet and the LLMs have problems with formating the components correctly and I don't know why.Texts overlap, components which are positioned lower in the actual Figma Frame are positioned higher in React Native. For instance I created a grey elipse which you see just half on the screen to create a "visual border". In React Native the LLM always positions the elipse to high.Is there a specific workflow which I have to follow to get the best / most precise results? As I said - I'm new :)

Soy nuevo en el programa y tengo poco conocimiento respecto a como usar el programa. Sin embargo estoy tomando un curso por medio de Udemy el cual me esta ayudando a conocer las herramientas de FIGMA. en este momento tengo una duda respecto a las variables, pues al seleccionar un grupo de variables y querer duplicarlo no me permite realizar la acción y tengo que crear un nuevo grupo de manera manual, en lugar de duplicarlo. si doy doble click o utilizo los comando simplemente no sucede nada y no me arroja opciones. me gustaría saber como puedo solucionarlo o si es una herramienta que ya no esta disponible en el programa
