Hello, i’ve created a simple button, with text, padding and autolayout. I’ve turned it into a component. I now want to make the stroke a property for all the variants, that i can turn on and off with a boolean.However, there is no diamond icon next to the stroke in the right hand panel, so i cannot figure out how to tie it to a prooperty. Is it because the stroke is not a nested item? .

I’m currently setting libraries for multiples teams, all them have the same configuration to be shared only for the team, but there is only one that keeps showing in all teams libraries even with all the “shared” options turned off. I already unpublished and published for team only, but the issue persists. Am I doing something wrog? 

I keep on getting a reminder to head into dev mode to remind admins about an upgrade request. Like all the time. Every 10 or 20 minutes maybe. I don't think I ever made an upgrade request and I'm not part of any group that has admins. I signed up with my work email but I'm the only person at the company who uses Figma. It never happens on my personal account.Are other people receiving this as well? It's very annoying.

J’ai donc décidé de créer des chapitres avec chevrons qui se déplient et montre le contenu au click.Seulement je rencontre un problème : lorsqu’un chapitre est déplié, cela pousse la suite, ce qui est une bonne chose, mais la taille globale ne s’agrandit pas.Objectif : J’aimerai que lorsqu’un élément chapitre se déplie la taille globale de la page ajoute la taille de l’élément déplié.Note : j’ai plusieurs chapitres, donc si tout est déplié, la différence entre la taille globale pliée et dépliée sera importante.Help me please 🙏  

I am getting a message that says “Library assets may need to be republished for modename mode to show.” There is also a little icon next to the mode name in all of my files when selecting a palette mode. We use a single design system file that has all of our variables and the other palettes don’t seem to have the same problem. The error message is not very helpful and I have cleaned up all of the files and resolved everything I can find but this message never goes away. Can anyone help me understand what is going on? I have included a couple of images as an example of what I am seeing.

I’m unable to see the variables icon in any of the fields where they are supposed to appear. Right clicking on the field doesn’t provide the option in the dropdown either. I’m on a pro plan using the latest version of the desktop app.

I’m new to Figma Web Pages and I’m building my first webpage using a free template. Everything works correctly except for one header button that becomes misaligned when I preview the site in the browser. The button shifts to the left only in the Desktop layout. On Tablet and Mobile it appears correctly.If I resize the browser from Tablet back to Desktop, every other element adjusts normally except this button. It seems to “hit a limit” on the left side and won’t move further right, even though it’s centered inside the Figma canvas.I suspect the issue might be related to conflicting layout or constraints between parent frames, but I’m not sure how to diagnose it. I’m attaching screenshots of all relevant layout settings.Does anyone know what could cause a single button to stop aligning correctly only in Desktop view, even when the rest of the layout behaves normally?Thank you in advance! 

Hello,I’ve been using Figma make for a couple of weeks, and I always saw “Attach a design” button. My colleague can see “Import from Figma” in the same dropdown menu in the chat. How can I also switch to “Import from Figma” instead?  

Our team is noticing that our main design system library is having hundreds of changes flagged in the publishing panel, even after a weekend of not working on the library. The panel shows what’s modified, removed, or added, but isn’t clear what the changes are or what caused them. It’s scary publishing these types of updates because they aren’t coming from our team. Is this something being caused by Figma? How can we feel comfortable publishing so many changes when we weren’t even the ones making them? 

Hello community, I’m reaching out to better understand how Figma Make AI handles intellectual property and data ownership. Specifically, I’m curious about whether data input into the tool is considered intellectual property, and what general protections or rights the vendor asserts over that data once it’s sent into their system. Additionally, I’d like to know how ownership is handled for any design proposals generated by the AI, does the user retain full rights, or does the vendor claim any ownership or usage rights over the output?Thanks in advance for any insights into my questions. 

I created these product tiles for an e-commerce site. The left is a full-price item while the right is a discounted item. I’m able to set it so that they maintain their aspect ratio when changing size. However, since the discounted item is technically taller than the full-price one, they don’t grow at the same rate.This is how they look if I say, double the size. You can see the image for the discounted item is taller. How can I set it so that the images maintain the same size as each other? Right now, I have the top layer locked in aspect ratio, with the layers beneath set to “fill” for width/height.

Hello, I have a file with a lot of images and some of them show up normally, but there is a big part of them which I can’t visualize anymore. They are just empty frames which I can select, but the content can not be seen. It looks like a lot of just not loaded filled frames. Why is it and how can I solve it, get back the pictures.

We are successful in accessing the figma remote MCP exposed at "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp" via OAuth based access via browser SSO login. We are exploring ways to automate figma MCP access in a headless mode so would like to understand passing PAT token for remote MCP authentication. We tried passing PAT in Auth headers and X-Figma-Token header but get unauthorized for remote MCP at this endpoint "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp". I’ve read up on as many forums similar to this issue, but none seem to have a fix for our situation. Problem Summary: Icon colors occasionally revert to nested component colors instead of inheriting the main component's color tokens when switching sizes in icon-button instances.Component Structure: Nested component: .icon-button-configuration - controls button sizing  Main component: icon-button - wraps the nested component and manages color variables

My file is messing up in preview mode. Original:Figma Design Image Preview Mode: Preview mode / Prototype. Not just this section all of them are show same issue to me. 

I have set up text styles and text variables dozens and dozens of times, so I’m pretty familiar with how variables work. However today, I created a new set of local variables + local styles and when I try to apply them to a frame via the Appearance dropdown, “Local Variables” doesn’t show up where it should. It shows my main design library and a couple other extraneous attached libraries (which I also need to figure out why they’re there.) Help, please!

I am an account administrator and have subscribed to the professional version of the content. The payment method is credit card. Today, it was discovered that the monthly bill generated on November 13, 2025 was duplicated twice.The main issue is that I paid twice with my credit card on the same monthly bill, resulting in the fees being withheld twice. May I ask how to apply for a refund of overpaid fees? Once the prepayment is directly deducted from the bound credit card. Another time was when I clicked on payment on the generated monthly bill.

I have a button as shown below, it contains an icon on the left hand side configured as a nested component. The size of the icon in the button component below is 20x20px. The size of the icon itself (as an individual component) is 24x24px. My icons are made up of a bunch of strokes, and all icons as their individual component have their stroke width at 1.5px, in the button component it is 1.25px (as scaling from 24x24

I have lost files from my Figma account. I looked at the drafts > deleted tab and its not there. I also filter searched all projects made by (me) and no luck finding it. I have a link the prototype because I had it linked to my old portfolio and it says that Prototype not found. Either this file doesn’t exist or you don’t have permission to view it. Ask the file owner to verify the link and/or update permissions. This project was definetly used through this email so im confused. I dont know if any other files got lost, but this is a case study for my portflio and a really important project to me so I hope you can help me recover it.

I’ve noticed uncomfortable lags when I share my screen via MS Teams and present something in Figma Desktop. It feels like fps drops drastically - from 60 to around 15-20. Mouse hover feedbacks with a noticeable delay. These lags I started notice after updating to macOS Sequoia. My setup: Macbook Pro 2021 M1 Pro with 32GB RAM, macOS Sequoia 15.0 External monitor HP Z27 connected via usb-c thunderbolt Figma Desktop 124.4.7 MS Teams for mac Version 24244.507.3125.3475 I started investigating to identify the root cause and so far I figured out the next: The issue is only with Figma Desktop and MS Teams mac app. If I use Figma in browser or MS Teams in browser, everything is smooth. The issue is more noticeable with UI3. When I switch back to previous UI, it works much smoother, however not perfect and smooth as without sharing. Hello Team,I am currently working on a project where we need to setup SCIM for just auto provisioning and deprovisioning of users and we do not want automatic management of seats. We have organizational plan with Figma and I believe we can setup just auto provisioning and deprovisioning of users with this plan.Below is my query regarding the same.There are existing users in Figma and when we configure SCIM for auto provisioning of the users then will these existing users get duplicated or re-created using SCIM and syncing with IdP? What will be the behavior of SCIM with existing users? Will it cause any kind of issues with existing users like loosing their access, loosing project data etc.?Prompt response will be appreciated. Thanks & Regards,Ashish
