Hi,I have a major issue with the font Inter not rendering the proper weight in Figma.The problemFigma’s Inter Medium displays as Inter Regular. Here’s my case:I have deinstalled my Inter font locally, and reinstalled the latest Inter version (4.1). Only the weights regular, medium, semibold and bold.Next, I checked the Google fonts Inter font, and checked regular and medium weights with a custom typed sentence. I duplicated this message in Figma with my ‘new’ Inter font. Me and my product team clearly define Inter Medium in Figma, to be Inter Regular. Inter Medium in development, google fonts & even font book clearly look much bolder. I figured that Figma must render it the wrong way, since the other sources match. Hi Figma team,I am writing because I am unable to access my Figma account and have not received a resolution through support.My account was registered using my university email (redacted by the moderator due to PII), which has since been permanently deleted by my university. I’m working on my project using figma site. I was able to open the variable collection modal until yesterday, but today, I don’t see the button to open it in the property panel… Does anyone have the same issue?   

Do the new updates for the design system i.e. extended collection and component slots have been released yet? i cant find them in my account!

Short version:The option buttons update their active state correctly, but the primary “Next” button doesn’t react to that selection. It should be disabled by default and only activate once an option is selected — likely a state binding issue. Longer version:I have a multi-step screen where users must select one of several option buttons (e.g. Milk / Dairy) before proceeding.When an option is selected: The option button correctly changes to its active state However, the primary “Next” button below does not change state (colour / enabled state) Expected behaviour: The “Next” button should remain inactive by default Once any option above is selected, the “Next” button should become active (visually + functionally) Current behaviour: The “Next” button can navigate immediately It never reflects an active/disabled state based on the selection above This feels like a state / variable binding issue, where the selection state isn’t being passed or observed by the “Next” button.

Hi everyone,
I’m struggling with a nested component setup and I’d like to understand if this is a limitation of Figma or if I’m structuring things the wrong way.I’m designing an e-commerce filter panel. The structure is:Item (component) contains a text layer exposed as a Text property has hover / active states Dropdown (component) contains multiple Item instances has open / closed variants Category (component) contains multiple Dropdown instances categories are expandable / collapsible 
When I place the category instance in my design then try to edit the item labels I cannot change the text of the itemsbecause they always stay linked to the Dropdown main component, even if the Item itself has a text property, it’s not editable from the Category child.It seems that text properties inside nested components don’t “pass through” to higher-level instances.I need to avoid creating a separate parent component for every filter category.

To resolve missing fonts or text style conflicts in shared Figma files, first ensure all collaborators have access to the same fonts or use Google Fonts, which sync automatically. Check the Text Styles panel to confirm styles are applied consistently and not duplicated. If fonts are missing, replace them using Figma’s font picker or upload the required fonts through Figma Desktop. Detach and reapply text styles if conflicts persist. Regularly clean unused styles to keep the file organized and avoid future inconsistencies.

How do I open a design created with Figma Make as a separate design?

Hi everyone,I’m working on some layouts in Figma and running into an issue once they’re printed. On screen, everything looks properly aligned, but after exporting (PDF) and printing, spacing and alignment don’t always match what I see in Figma.I’ve checked frame sizes, constraints, and export settings, and things look fine before printing. The printer itself accepts jobs without errors, which makes it harder to tell where the mismatch is happening.Before assuming it’s an export or scaling issue, I tried ruling out problems with the printer itself by printing a basic test page directly from the browser. That output looked normal, so I’m leaning toward this being a layout, scaling, or export setting issue.For those who regularly print designs from Figma, are there any best practices for avoiding alignment or scaling problems when printing?Thanks in advance.

I canceled my subscription one month ago. This is confirmed by Figmas UI showing me that I'm on the Free plan. Nevertheless I had a charge of 5,95€ on my credit card today. What is happening here and why even 5,95€ i was on the 17,85€ plan before.

Hello! I have a logo I made in Illustrator that I’m trying to import into Figma. When I import, the logo gets warped and jagged (see screenshot). This happens both when I try to copy/paste, and when I export as SVG. I am including SVG code in Illustrator. Help?!

Until yesterday, our team used 1 annual full seats, and 3 monthly full seats.Today, I changed them to 2 annual full seats and 2  annual dev seats.So here’s the problem: I need to file in a expense report; the new boss wants to know how every cent is spent, and I can’t understand how or why the billings are so.If I’m being billed for December’s usage, December usage should be that of 3 full seats = 60$, which has been for the last couple of months.If I’m Paying for Annual, One-time charge, shouldn’t it be 1 annual full seat, 16*12=192$, and 2 dev seats 24*12=288$, which adds up to 480$? Even if it’s been prorated, just how does 200$ popup out of nowhere?Also, the billing page shows 4 full and 2dev seats, while people page shows 2 full and 4 dev.Am I paying for the annual seat or are there some calculation issues I’m missing? Help me out※ Payment renewal happens on every 26th, and I need to file in the report before then

Hi,I’m relatively new to Figma. I’m using Figma Sites and I’m using Grid layout. I have Breakpoints set (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile). When I preview, narrowing the page width triggers the breakpoints to behave correctly, the Grid ‘snaps’ to the designated breakpoint sizes. But, how do I make it so that the Grid scales smoothly between breakpoints?Thank’s for your help.

I’m writing to report an issue regarding my Figma subscription. I signed up for a one-month Figma Pro membership with the order number KUONM0YH-0001. Subsequently, I requested to cancel the subscription, but no refund was processed. I understand that this cancellation only applies to the auto-renewal, which means I should still have access to the membership benefits for the current month.
