Hi Community, Ones i had created the skeleton loader and clicked on preview it dose animate. but when i use Lottie file plugin it only comes as a flat jpeg without any animation. 

Hello, I have two plugins that have been posted on the figma platform for several years. This morning, all users suddenly said that our plugins couldn't be found in the resource community. I hope your team can provide me with a specific explanation of the reasons for taking down these two plugins of mine. And apply to restore these two plugins to the figma platform. Setup: Foundations library which contains all color variables (and currently 4 modes, 1 deleted mode (The Grape Brand)). The Foundations library is used in a Components library and several design files The Components library is also used in the same design files Issue When i’m in my Components file and select variable mode on page level it shows 5 modes (4 current and 1 old mode) and except for the default mode it shows exclamations marks behind all of them. When i’m in the Components file but select a layer and change the mode on layer level I see the 4 correct modes and no exclamation marks. If I open a design file which uses both the Components and Foundations library I get the 4 correct modes and no exclamation marks on both page and layer level. It’s not that big an issue that I cannot change the mode on page level for the Components library file but i’d rather have it resolved. Anyone have any idea what’s going on? Is it possible to connect to the Remote Figma MCP server from your own client? To be specific, could I build an Agentic system that connects to the Remote Figma server, takes in a link to the Figma design and generates the code for that design using the output from Figma's MCP toolset?

 Hello everyone Since the update for the Figma site came out, I've been wondering how to run a carousel, whether based on an image or text. The Figma site doesn't support on drag. What solutions have you been providing for this? I have prototyped many complex carousels where each slide change causes radical changes to the page, something that excites me a lot when browsing, now how do I bring this to the Figma website?  

I've created a Figma plugin that works well for my own use, but I'm concerned about sharing it with my team because the code is readable to anyone who accesses it. Is there an option to encrypt the plugin or export it in a binary format to protect the source code? I want to prevent others from being able to view or modify the code while still allowing them to use the plugin. Any guidance would be appreciated.

We have an old Figma design system built on variants from about four years ago.Since Figma moved toward variables, it doesn’t really work properly anymore.We’re looking for plugins or tools (paid is totally fine) that can help us migrate to variables without rebuilding everything from scratch. 

Hi everyone, I’m working on a project in Figma Make and really enjoying the workflow, but I’m stuck on one important point: how do you share a prototype created in Figma Make?I can’t find any option to generate a shareable link or access a Prototype mode, and I’m not sure whether this is a limitation of Figma Make or if there’s a specific step required to export or transfer the work into Figma Design.Could someone clarify whether it’s possible to share a prototype built in Make, and if so, what the correct process is?Thanks in advance for your help.

IF I CLOSE AND OPEN AGAIN NOTHING IS SAVED

In Figma Site, I’m working on a carousel that previews various animations and I want them to be linked through LottieFiles, as the page is getting super heavy due to numerous assets.  I create the carousel frames with the lottiefiles embed in it and as soon as I make these frames a component, the LottieFiles element is thrown out of the component. Is there a way for the LottieFiles to be embedded in components?

Hi, I’m a Figma subscriber and have been using it to build decks in Figma Slides. I’m loving the experience, with a key caveat. I can’t get anything to show up in my Assets folder. Only the AI tools are available. Even default actions like ‘Build a table’ that Figma docs say should be available are not. Let alone basic icons and such to pull in. When I click ‘Assets’ there’s nothing.Can someone help? I have a presentation due in the coming days and need to figure this out. It says I need to ‘add’ a library but shouldn’t there be default actions and icons in here??How do i add a table??

Hi guys, how are you? I'm facing the following problem: yesterday I got an email saying that my seat request was declined (even though I've been able to access the team as a guest for 5 months now) and after it all my drafts and the team access were gone. Today my company managed to put me back on the team (still as a guest) but my drafts are still gone. I've found a link to one of my old files but I had to request access (???) and no one has managed to allow it (in fact no one even got the request). So what's going on? Did I lose my drafts forever or not? Is this a bug or we're just not looking at the right place? Chat with Fig says the missing drafts should be on Admin > Content > Unassigned drafts but the admins haven't found it yet. Help me get my files back, pleaseeeeeeeeee.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to showcase my prototype in a presentation adding screen recording of the app. Unfortunatly it doesn't work because it's lagging. I tried also changing fps on After Effect, but it doesn't work.  Do you have any advice ? 

I've been chasing this for a week now and I can't just figure it out. Here's my set up: Component 1: Heading, Paragraph, Button All these elements have Boolean properties that can toggle their ON/OFF. Each one of them are components themselves holding properties such as weight, size and colour. Component 2: 4 Component 1 in a row I am trying to set the component 2 so that I can toggle ON/OFF all the headings, paragraphs and buttons at once I just can't do it. If I select the Component 1 nested instance element (i.e. Heading) in Component 2, under appearance I see the Boolean property correctly but I can't do anything with it. If I select the whole Component 1 nested instance I can see the Heading / Paragraph / Button component properties, but the only thing I can do is link them to a variable, not to a Component 2 property (my plan was to create a "Show heading" Boolean and link the nested Component 1 instances properties to it). I tried to create a Boolean Variable and while I can lin

Hi folks, looking for advice from people who’ve built or scaled multi-brand / white-label design systems. We have a large master design system and need to support multiple brands on top of it. What we’re trying to achieve:  One single source of truth for components Ability to evolve master components (add variants, change structure, etc.) All brands should inherit those updates automatically Colors, images, and other visual styles should come from brand-specific configs Avoid component duplication and version drift  The mental model we’re aiming for:  Structure & behavior → master design system Visual identity / theming → brand level  Questions:  Have you done something similar? What worked best for you: tokens, variables, nested libraries, overrides? How do I switch my account from the educational plan to a free plan account?

So I am trying to fix a scroll issue on one of my figma sites pages and I think I have run into a bug. I have all the blocks set to the same position (Relative) yet one of them just wont play well with the others. Should I just delete the whole page a re-make it since it’s beta?  I cant seem to get it to re-side for mobile correctly and keep the correct scroll.  Open to any suggestions. 

Hi all, We’ve built a Figma plugin that converts frames into MJML/HTML using a WebAssembly module. On some machines the plugin works fine, but on others (mostly Macs with Apple Silicon) it crashes part-way through with this error:  What happens: Some components (usually text) render successfully. As soon as the plugin hits a problematic component, it throws the error and everything after that fails to generate. The issue isn’t consistent — some users/accounts never see it, while others hit it frequently.  What we’ve tried: Clearing Figma caches and reinstalling the desktop app. Testing on multiple accounts and machines. Disabling Cloudflare/WAF rules on our API. The problem still persists.  Impact:Users can’t reliably export frames — exports stop midway and produce incomplete output. Suspected cause:It looks like the WASM module is running out of memory or hitting a bug with certain text inputs. I have a prototype where I want to give users the ability to select and unselect add-ons, at their discretion. I have a button instance with True and False values, a base price for the product diamond_base, and want to update that value by 400, depending on if the button is selected. I have tried all manner of things and the closest I’ve gotten is: Button is True and the value is added, the Button is False and no value is removed, Button is True again and the value is added again, but the price never decreases. All this takes place on the Click interaction. What might I be doing incorrectly?Attached is my branching conditional statements, but this instance changes the button to the selected state and adds the value, without resetting the button or removing the value. Any suggestions are appreciated for a workaround.
