The component works fine on mobile and tablet screen sizes, but once it’s scaled to desktop the third slide wont work.I’ve redone this one a couple of times but can’t figure out what’s wrong

Hey community! I am currently trying a simple operation of bulk-changing a property of the first subcomponent in a master component A. The master component has many variants always containing 1 instance of other components, which are built up with the same “architecture”. I’m trying to create a Boolean Property on my “Icon” layer inside a button Component, but when I click on the Icon layer, the Layer section in the RIGHT PANEL does not show up. (see screenshot). To be clear, I’m not talking about the left Layers panel. I mean the Layer: Passthrough section in the right panel. When I even just create a basic shape (not a component) in my frame, I still don’t see the Layer section in the RIGHT PANEL, why??

Using Figma under Windows.I have to review a figma design my designer created. There are many layers.I would like to view one layer.  Is there any way I can Zoom to it after selecting it?  It seems I have to hunt and zoom all around the screen to finally look at something.  Figma doesn’t seem to work as a collaborative tool. Is there a save button for this topic/ post?  I only see SEND. Send it where? 

Hi everyone,I’m building a simple 3-page website using Figma Make. The pages are: Home, About, and Blog.The issue I'm facing is: Accessing the root domain (www.*********.com) works fine. However, when I try to go directly to a subpage like www.*********.com/blog or www.site.com/about, I get a 404 error. Strangely, if I navigate using buttons from the homepage, the subpages load without any problem. So the pages do exist and work internally. It seems like this might be a routing or rewrite issue, maybe related to how static sites are handled.I’ve tried different prompt variations and structures but couldn’t solve the issue. What I want is simple:When a user types www.**********.com/blog directly into the browser, the blog page should open without a 404 error.Has anyone experienced this with Figma Make or knows how to solve it? Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a UI mockup for a project related to Script Bot, and I'm running into some layout behavior that I can't quite figure out.I have a set of components (like navigation cards and action buttons) inside a container using Auto Layout. When I simulate state changes (like expanding or collapsing a section of the Script Bot APK UI), the entire frame seems to jump or flicker briefly especially when Smart Animate is applied.This doesn’t happen when I use “Instant” transitions combined with “Preserve scroll position,” but my goal is to achieve a smooth Smart Animate effect without breaking the scroll or causing jumpy behavior.Has anyone here run into something similar when prototyping APK-related interfaces? I can't find the alignment settings when using Auto Layout's grid mode,how can I set an object to align to the left, top, or bottom? 

I’m trying to let a free user collaborate. What should I do from this point onwards? Pretty new to the collaboration features on Figma and I am a part of my school’s plan. The collaborator is not a part of my school, and they currently still cannot edit the Figjam even though it is marked as “can edit.”

Hello people! There are 2 things happening on my prototype window with Chrome. As you can see there’s now black margins at the sides of the prototype, before that, it looked like a normal site, like full size of the screen, of course I explored the setting button up right, nothing did,  I don’t know maybe some colleague of mine touched some option that he shouldn’t. And the other thing is the  dark bottom nav bar to go throught “frame” by “frame” now it’s gone, keyboard doesnt work, neither can’t remember if I changed something, really dont know and wanna fix all this. Any help please?   

Hello! I’m trying to have these over flow frames scrolling horizontally within a set boundaries, however it seems to scroll into the full page. I wanted to know what I should do to make sure that the scrolling only stays in the red lined boundaries? The scroll behavior for the scrolling frame is position: scroll with parent ; overflow: horizontal. The individual frames inside that are scrolling has scroll behavior position: scroll with parent Thank you!

I want to have an object increase in size. I also want it to move. I have one component that describes the change in size, and another component describing its movement. The latter is an empty frame, which I (intended to) put an instance of the former object inside.I have tried eight hundred and fifty three thousand ways to get this to work, but it appears to be literally impossible. I’ve tried it with components inside each other, instances inside of instances, components inside of instances inside of objects inside of instances being triggered by variables that are themselves triggered by componenets of instances within an instance’s compnent’s variable’s object’s variable’s instance’s instance. None of it works. Nothing.“Just make it one componenent” - I don’t want the movement and the change in size to have the same animation. HI,I placed an MP4 inside of a frame at 100% opacity and placed it in the bottom layer of my initial frame in my prototype. I set the interactions to “Autoplay” and “loop” and it plays fine upon initiating the prototype but when you click into the next frame, the music file, of course stops playing. I tired to copy/paste the same frame into each of the slides/frame and set it to “Autoplay” and “loop”, but it’s not working. Any ideas? Thank you,Chris

I was following this video tutorial and it seemed to have exactly what I needed. However, now that Figma has been updated to a new UI, this section of the tutorial no longer applies. I have a 2Mb, 27sec mp4 video which I’d like to display in the ad reel at the top of a plugin page. I can upload the video, I can play the video in the preview, I can choose what order the video comes in the carousel but when I hit save, the video is not presented in the carousel. Our team were trying to export assets for us what we are going to use in a game engine. However discovered whenever we export gradient image as png, it has lot of transparent pixels. It doesnt happen with flat color or if we duplicate the image 2 times and apply the same gradient although i dont think that should be the right solusion. Any fix or guess?

I use some components in footer, that have two states: collapsed and expanded. All components and the main frame have Auto Layout. When I click on the collapsed component in the prototype the screen jumps up and down before the list expands with animation. As I understand, the problem is connected to constraints of the contents. When I choose Smart Animation, I can’t set checkbox “Preserve scroll position”, because there is no checkboxes. When I choose “Instant” and choose the “Preserve scroll position” option everything works well. But I want to do it with animation. drive.google.com

Figma keeps saying I’m offline and that it’s not syncing any changes, even when I have very fast and consistent internet connection (Zoom, Slack, CreativeCloud all work fine). And what’s strange is that it’s only for one project at a time. I have four different projects open and the others are syncing fine. And it’s not always the same project that has trouble syncing. Last week it was a different one that wasn’t syncing. Figma is up-to-date as well. I have had this issue for a week now and it’s incredibly frustrating. Any solutions?

Or it would be best if I could keep it, because I am a student, but right now, I graduated high school, and in two months, I will attend college, so "currently", I am not a student. Hello people Is there any smart way of refactoring components? Some context here: we’re about to give the design a boost and this will change many of the components in the library. The smartest way would be if the components are build with only tokens/variables but they are not so i need to find another way. I would love to do it this way: Build a Button_new with the new look so you can manually change it to that component (or make a property for it true/false) Change the old button with the new buttonThe problem i have with it that when i do that (by changing its name) the change doesn’t go through the component on my canvas. Anyone can help?
