Hi, I'm learning Auto Layout, and I've made this without Auto Layout, but as my goal with Auto Layout. What I'm wondering about the technique, when cards have different sizes but stack on top of each other and span different columns. I'm not sure about which 'order' or how to make it right. My goal (Cards with different sizes but stack on top of each other and span different columns)​​​​​ 

I recently started using the paid plan of Fima. I am still learning all the new features i got with the professional plan. Yesterday i found out that i cannot access the first draft ai feature from the action tab as shown in the tutorial videos.

I have been thinking about how different apps handle data refresh and user feedback, especially when it comes to information that users expect to be accurate instantly. In design tools like Figma, small delays or unclear states are usually communicated well through loading indicators, sync messages, or manual refresh options, so users understand what is happening.On the other hand, I have noticed with some everyday apps, for example checking my FAB bank balance on mobile, that the information does not always update clearly and there is no obvious indication whether the data is current or cached. It made me curious from a product and UX perspective how teams decide when to auto refresh sensitive data versus requiring a manual action, and how designers communicate trust and accuracy without overwhelming the user.Are there best practices in interface design or state handling that help avoid this kind of confusion, especially for apps where users rely on up to date information?

When I bought my ticket for Config I put my role and title but it has since changed. I’m wondering do you update that when you pick up your badge at Config or do you do it prior. 

The previous designers of my team turned to library every file that they created because they thought it was a good practice to turn each final screen into a component.Now I have a huge libraries list that is worthless but I still want to be the owner/editor of the source files.Is there a way to cleanup this mess?

Hello! I am having an issue in my Figma Site. I have the navigation set to sticky and it scrolls with the page successfully. It scrolls behind the other content on the page however. It is on the top layer of the layer tree and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to fix it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, I’ve suddenly lost access to a Figma file that I personally created in November (between 11/03 and 11/25 I believe) using my personal account.The file no longer appears in any of my workspaces (Drafts, Teams or Trash), but the direct link still works and asks me to “Request access”. This is a professional client project and I urgently need to recover access due to some modifications asked. Hi, I’m having trouble activating the Figma Education plan. I have tried many time to verify my account and contacted SheerID and don’t have any success. I get the following errors: From Figma:  Attempting to verify shows “Verification Limit Exceeded.” I also emailed the Figma education team education@figma.com, but still have not received a response From SheerID:  “We were unable to process your verification request. While we can't offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria for future attempts. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.”

I am trying to build a structured icon library in Figma using the Streamline icon set (Line, Solid, and Duotone styles). I have about 5,000 unique icons per style, and I’m struggling to automate the import process.The ContextOriginally, my folder structure was:Style > Category > Sub-category > Icon.svgUsing a script, I restructured the folders to make it easier to create components with variants:Category > Sub-category > Icon Name > Style=X.svg(Where "Style=X" is the actual filename, e.g., "Style=Line.svg", "Style=Solid.svg")The ProblemWhen I drag the main folder into Figma, it ignores the directory structure entirely and "dumps" all 15,000+ SVGs onto the canvas as flat layers. To make matters worse, because many files share the same name (e.g., "Style=Line.svg"), Figma appends ascending numbers to the names, breaking my naming convention.I have tried several plugins—both icon-specific and general library managers—but none of them seem capable of taking the three styl

How does inviting members to my project that are already paid collab members work? Do I inherit their annual costs or are they responsible for their seat license. 

I was working on my scholarship application for Config, and I wanted to go through all the pages to see what other questions/prompts I had to answer in the future pages. I put in default responses like “This is a test.” so that I could bypass the required fields. I did not realize that after the page that asks you about potential allergies is the last page of the application. The “next” button turned into “submitting.” I have been searching all weekend to find who to contact through the forums and “chat with Fig” and none of these resources have helped me. I know the application closed on Jan 31 and I’m a worried that I will be overlooked.Who can I contact to update my responses?I finished all my responses ahead of time, and made a genuine mistake. I was really looking forward to attending Config and having the opportunity to afford meeting this community of folks that are creators.

Hi, I recently reinstalled Figma and am having trouble finding my local file’s assets. Usually the colors, type styles and components are listed on the left, but only the components are showing. Did something change, or do I have to do something with my settings? Thanks

This Figma Make update is yet to appear in my Figma App. Are the updates being pushed in batches or I need to do something to ensure I can access these new Figma Make Features?Kindly let me know

I have created a new plug in and im watting for revision and aproval. How long is it take? And also, after aproval, can I sell my plug in troght figma service or I will need to use third party payment services?Thanks for the info! 

I can't click the menu-items in the prototype. It gets hidden behind the Figa bar that keeps appearing. How do I get rid of this, can I turn this off?My client (and I) can't click on the menu items. Very inconvenient (and weird).  

HELP Please!  I am a full seat user and was able to publish to the figma generated site 1x but subsequent updated publishing is failing.  Does anyone know what steps I can do, besides open a bug ticket, to get this resolved quickly?  I have a presentation tomorrow morning.
