How can I enable the new Variables UI where the button is in the left toolbar and the Variables page opens in full screen? My other account already uses the new UI across all pages, but this account still has the old UI where Variables open in a small modal.

I understand you're asking how to enable the left navigation bar and full-screen Variables modal.
We're slowly rolling out a new left navigation bar to users in Figma Design. Because of this phased rollout, there isn't a way to manually enable it at this time.
I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our team so they know you're eager to start using it.
In the meantime, you can get a larger view by clicking the double-arrow icon in the top-right corner of the Variables modal to expand it.
