On the Honor 200, the Figma mirror application is unable to present the design correctly. Sometimes elements are missing or not fully visible. Even if I open Figma Mirror on any browser on my phone, these situations will occur！

When using mirroring on my phone, the design doesn’t show properly. Sometimes there are missing elements, or elements that are not fully visible. This happens even when I open Figma Mirror on my phone’s browser. Here’s how my design shows up: I’m using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Already tried re-installing the app and clearing the cache.

I am a tutor trying to switch from Jamboard to FigJam. My current online student is under 13 years of age. Does that mean we cannot use this platform, or is there a way for younger students to join with a parental consent? Thanks for your help.

This is not a new problem since i’ve seen other people with the same issue but i’ve already tried possibles solutions and it have not helped me at all. Every time i open Figma there this pop up that tells me that there is a new update available and asks if i want to install it now or on the next launch. But it does not matter which button i press because it keeps appearing. I’ve already tried to uninstall and download again the app, to restart the device, etc, etc. So i’m hoping for a new solution, because i’ve been also trying to reach Figma staff and i hear no response neither.

I was exploring the features in Figma slides, I noticed the grid option, now I cant find it anymore? Has anyone had this problem? What am I doing wrong? Where is the option to remove / hide the grid over all slides?

Hi, I’m creating a sliding carousel where the main item is larger and none blurred. I’ve designed 5 frames for the 5 items but I can’t get them to link up on prototype. All of the carousel items and collection of items are set to Auto Layout. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this to work? Let me know if you need more info.

Hi 👋🏼 Is there any way to bind variables to my gradient with Plugin API? We got gradientStops and boundVariables for them, but I can’t see any way to set bound variables for it. setBoundVariable() is for bindable fields, setBoundVariableForPaint() is for solid paints. Is there any methods or plans to make ones for the gradient stops? Cheers! Example of gradient layer with bound variables

I am unable to add notes to my Figma slides. I followed the instructions for adding presenter notes from this help article. No notes field appears. When I present with notes, the empty notes fields are present. Is this a glitch? I am using Chrome on Mac (Version 126.0.6478.127 (Official Build) (x86_64).

I’m new here. So I’m creating a lo-fi wireframe and I’ll like the page to be vertically scrollable so I tried expanding the length of the frame. Every other item on the frame stays in place except the vectors. How can I fix it? Also, if that isn’t the right way to make the frame vertically scrollable, please let me know. Thank you!

I’m looking to stack an overlay on top of an existing autolayout frams, such that it scales responsively to its parent’s size. In the screenshot below you can see a simple demo setup. The “Outer Frame” is designed to be responsive when used in a layout. The contents inside (the blue and red bars being shown as an example) will scale in response to any change in its parent frame’s dimensions. The “Overlay” is designed to live inside the Outer Frame, stacked above the Inner Frame in the z-order. It should also fill the outer frame. Below is an image of me doing this using absolute positioning but it is NOT responsive. (image can’t be included for dumb forum reasons) If the Outer Frame gets resized, you have to manually resize the overlay. Hello, I struggle with merging currently a lot, because the preview marks a lot of components in the branch as edited, that should not be edited. Both ways of reviewing them side by side or overlayed look exactly the same, but I still can´t figure our what changes have been made. Maybe a new layer name? changes in autolayout? As design System owner I should be aware of every change I merge. This is really blocking me from merging and provides double work sometimes, because I will archive the branch and edit main instead. I will roll our branching-workflows for a whole company soon, this will be a major problem in two weeks. Can you help me with that?

Hi there, I recently created a basic set of variables for my design system which I use as a starting point for a variety of web projects. I’ve wireframed a large number of pages in grayscale and now wish to swap in the branded colors using variable modes, but I’m foreseeing a problem. I would have to add the branded colors to my core design library to use mode switching. After the project is completed I’d have to hide the branded colors with scoping, and would need to re-enable them if I ever needed to go back into the project. Overtime this would cause a lot of bloat in my core variable set. I could manually apply the brand colors with a set of local variables in each working design file, but then I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of variable modes. Using a plugin like variable manager to copy my core variables into each design file would require me to manually push core updates into each file instead of utilizing library sharing. Neither of these solutions seems very efficient. I

Hi! I work with a corporate account. Let’s call it ‘Company 1’. Now we have one team with some projects. We made our own design system and connected it to all our files in this team. So all components and styles work correctly. I can change color in main btn and all same btns changed there color automatically. We need to replace all our file with bog amount of frames to another account. Call it ‘Company 2’. How we can do in not to off styles? We want to replace all and our design library to. Don’t be linked to the old accont and company. Delete old company and account and continue work with new account without changes, same frames, same disign system. all component linked with mane component. Can we do it? How?
