Publish library stuck in an infinite loop

Andras_Szogi

When I try to publish an updated library, it stops responding when it reaches the infinite spinner with the ‘Publishing Library’ toast message. If I close the library, it shows that none of the updates were published. Same result on Mac app, web app, old UI, new UI.

Please help!

I had to restart the Mac, and now it seems to work. Maybe it was caused by some caching issue.

Hello! I think if you provide the answer to the following questions I may help you.

  1. How many components are you trying to publish?
  2. Has this ever happened to you before? If so, which was the solution?
  3. Is the file where you have your library components too big?
  4. Have you tried reloading the file?
  5. If you are in a team, and you have another account with edit access, have you tried doing that in that account?
  6. If you are in a team, and you have another account with edit access, have you tried asking a teammate to do the same and see if the problem persists?

Additional info:

  • I closed all apps to save memory.
  • I waited for 20 mins - nothing happened, the spinner kept spinning…

  2. Yes, It was not working in the app, but it worked in the browser.
  3. It worked until 2-3 weeks ago, so I don’t think so.
  4. Yes.
  5. I have only one account.
  6. I don’t have such teammates managing libraries.

Thank you!
