Question

Missing Fonts - Installed to laptop and some are still missing

Emily_Gomez

I have some Adobe fonts correctly installed to my system through creative cloud and I’ve installed them manually too, but when I open up Figma I’m still seeing that one I need to use shows up as missing. I did see that some are showing up correctly through the Installed by Me. What else can I do to ensure it is working correctly?

Are you using the desktop version of Figma or browser version? If using browser version, you might need to install the Figma font helper.

Hi Ryan,

I was using the desktop version. Is there other configuration I need to do to make sure it is finding my fonts correctly?

Thanks.

If you’re following the guide linked above, there is a link to troubleshooting Adobe fonts: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/23035569468439-Access-and-troubleshoot-missing-Adobe-fonts-in-Figma-design

Make sure your CC is set to auto sync, it will then download all assets including fonts to your local machine to use. Figma will then pick them up when you use it. Unless your using the browser version which means you need to use Figma’s font installer to link them up.

Hope this helps 🙂
