So I exported a PDF from a Figma design. One part of an illustration in the PDF then gets a floating background that moves when you zoom the screen. I recorded a video: https://vimeo.com/1003090148 Any ideas how this happened, how to fix it, or just generally: what is going on, should this be a part of the PDF-format?

Hi when i save .Figma file format it saves as pdf rather than .fig format why is it so, i need it to send it as offilne.

We are currently using a free plan. I would like to purchase an organization plan. What should I do? When I try to buy it, they ask me to buy a professional plan. Do I need to purchase an organization after purchasing a professional plan?

Can I use the Figma Free Plan within the Organization?

Despite refreshing the error screen or rebooting the system and trying to open the file again, it still won’t open. This issue persists on both desktop and browser. I urgently need to work on this file, so please help me resolve the problem and get the file open as soon as possible.

The excellent code connect example repo provides a button with conditional icons. I’ve noticed that the label of the button disappears when you select an icon. Hello, Our team, consisting of UI designers and front-end developers, is currently working together to build a design system. As part of this process, we are considering exporting the Theme Color properties from Figma’s UI components as JSON files to GitLab, and then converting these to SCSS global variables for use in our projects. We have a few questions and would appreciate the Figma community’s advice: Our team currently does not use Local Variables. In this case, is it possible to export the properties of Local Styles to JSON and push them to GitLab? 1-1. If exporting Local Styles to GitLab is possible, which plugin should we use? When exporting Theme Colors to GitLab, which is more common and effective: using Local Styles or Local Variables? Is the Design Tokens approach using Tokens Studio for Figma still recommended for building a design system, or is there a better approach we should consider? Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is it possible to display the font weight number and font name? （Regular +400）

Hi guys. I don’t use Figma that often, but I still find it a very useful tool in particular occasions in my line of work. When I do use it, I most likely have just one project I am working on so therefore my current use of the Starter Plan. Since the starter plan only allows one project, is the following situation possible? Once Project 1 is done, all files are exported and kept locally. Project 1 is deleted from the Starter Plan. Project 2 will take the place of Project 1 in the Starter Plan. If Project 1 needs updates, it can replace Project 2 at some point - ideally after project 2 is complete - in the Starter Plan by importing the last version of Project 1. Thanks in advance! 😁

I was designing a hexagon-based logo recently and came to horrid realisation: 6-sided polygon in Figma IS NOT a perfect hexagon, where all sides should be equal and angles 120 degrees. Everything is slightly off. Take a look: black line is a perfect hexagon and the grey one is a default 6-sided shape from Figma

Hi, How do I export 1 image that has blend mode lighten on and save it as PNG and get the transparency?I tried but get blacks BG. I need to stack several images on top of each other and that’s why I need it saved with the transparency. Got a floorplan with lights turned off and lights on layer with blend mode lighten.

I’m having an issue with my Figma not being updated. My boyfriend also uses Figma on his PC, and his updated just fine, but I use Figma much more, and mine is still on the old version. Does anyone know what might be happening or how to fix this?

Hi, I’m a private teacher doing mostly 1:1 lessons online or up to 5 students and I’m not affiliated with any school so the free education plan would not apply to me I believe? The students are all individuals and not related to each other. I used Google Jamboard before and am looking for a replacement since it is being stopped. I’m having a hard time to understand which plan can suit my needs on Figma, since I don’t have a team per se. Would I need to consider each student as “one seat” although not part of a team? Let’s say I have 20 students, would I need to pay for 20 users/seats per month? Probably a basic question but appreciate any help on this matter. Thank you in advance Marie

So I have made a component set of “+” and " - " I setted it on on and off. But I wanna use 4-5 of it in my frame. And when I add instences on my frame, every one of them turn into on/off (that’s not what I want) In order to trigger them seperatedly ,should I create multi componentn for each?

One of our users is having an issue with sharing draft files with others. here’s what she said: I’ve gotten used to creating org charts in Figma, but keep running into issues with sharing >files. We can have our files in our Drafts, but can’t share them with others until we move the file into a folder. Once the file is in a folder, we can’t edit it. Our org charts need to have ongoing edits, and being able to share them while in edit >mode would make things easier. Do you have any insight into Figma limitations and features for this, and how we can share >files in ‘edit’ mode? Is there any way to share draft files with others w/out putting them into a folder that prevents them from being edited? Thanks, Ricky

My design team has been locked. I have already purchased an Annual Professional Plan for my team for myself which doesn’t expire until next year in April. Now, I recently shared a public link to one of the files in this team to my client to merely edit it but he was automatically added to the entire team as well instead of limiting his access to this file only. Due to this, a design seat in the team was also allotted to him which I never authorized - I just came to know about that after visiting the “members” section. In short, I never purchased any extra design seats for this team for anyone whatsoever and never added anyone to my team - I only shared a public link. Now, I see I am being billed for an additional design seat for this person which I never asked for. Due to the failure of payment, my design team seems to be locked. I suspect it to be a technical issue in its entirety and this also raised a lot of security/privacy concerns as anyone can be added to my team without my perm
