Hi everyone How can I costumise the caracters in keyboard to be the same as the caracters I want to be written. 

My marketing agency has a proprietary content creation platform (we control all aspects of the backend, etc.).  After written content is created, we typically copy and paste the content to a Figma design template. Via an API connection, is it possible to create my written content and simultaneously have it populate in a Figma template? Or even populate as comments? Currently we use the batch import functionality in Figma Buzz but now I'm interested in directly connecting a Figma template to our platform. Is this API connection possible? Thanks!

my icon set looks ok only in figma app interface LIGHT mode. But, when I switch via CMD+K “use DARK mode”, my icons are the same color (kind of black) as figma app interface bg color! I could make them gray, but this is silly. there must be a better solution i guess?

Hi team, we have been prototyping some fairly complex web app concepts, and just wanted to understand what happens as we get into really high version numbers (e.g. up version 95 in the one I am looking at right now) – would like some understanding/reassurance of the limits before we really start orienting our prototyping process around Figma Make.Is there a limit on how many prompts a single file can have? Are there any risks in having a file with very high numbers of versions? I saw another post saying their file stopped being able to iterate at version 900 because of how large the prompt was getting (with all the history). Is there a way to “fork” a new file, and this file effectively restarts at version 0 – I was surprised that duplicating retains all the previous versions.Slightly worried about the usage limits of roughly 80 prompts per month – I could do this in a morning! Hi! I’m following a video by BYOL right now, and he’s done such a great job explaining things. But I’m a teeny bit (very) confused about something:What I’ve got / what I’ve done: I have a main component which is a set of icon components combined to form a single component (I’ve called it Nav - Lower (NL)). I’ve taken three instances of NL and used them in three other frames. What I want: To make sure that the main component is responsive, so I changed its constraints to Left + Right and Bottom. I want to be able to change the main component and see those changes reflected in its instances. What I don’t want, but is happening right now: Screen-recording: 

I’m feeling like an idiot. I’m on a professional plan, but I can’t find any invoices in my email and I can’t find anyplace in the Figma site to download previous invoices. This should be easy…been looking for 15 minutes and can’t find anything.

I want to create a prototype where the header hides when scrolling down and becomes visible again when scrolling up. However, I couldn’t find any feature or tutorial explaining how to achieve this. I did find an old video, but it didn’t work for me. Is there any way to make this work?

When my student and I leave some of my files, they zoom way out. Even when I select to zoom in for the selected content, it zooms out each time I leave. Is it possible to zoom in and have it stay zoomed in on the content when I leave then return? In most cases, the pieces I want to zoom in on are the only content on the page.

Hello. Trying to preview an app I created in Figma Make on the iPad but I can only preview in the browser mode, which breaks the prototype because of all the extra browser panels and whatnot.The Figma app, however, does not even see the Make files.Is there a way to make Figma see Figma Make so that Figma can see what Figma created?

Hello!I have heard that you are about to update your bootcamp verification process starting September 23th.  Starting September 23, self-verification of bootcamps will no longer be available, and an administrator will need to confirm the bootcamp and then grant access to students and instructors. I have the following questions:1. If my company uses Figma as an online course rather than a bootcamp, do these updates apply to me? 2. Where can I find more detailed information, namely which organizations will be granted access, how the student and teacher confirmation process will work, and other details?Thank you in advance!

Hi all, When i’m exporting to a JPG with a dark background, the export is adding 1px to its original size which then creates a thin white line top and bottom

I am creating coloring pages for my students and I made one with over 1200 squares to color in. I now want to separate it into different pages, but I can’t seem to unlock all of the squares to separate them into separate pages. I tried the unlock/lock stuff, but it only unlocks one at time. I tried to highlight the entire area and unlock them, but it didn’t work. It seems like I have to unlock the individual squares one at a time. I really don’t want to click through 1200 squares. Is there a way to unlock all in design?Or is there a way to highlight multiple objects or layers and unlock all of those?

I have run into an issue where all of my figma slides have a pink hue overlay. The center of the slide is a darker pink while the border of the slide have a light pink color.  This appears regardless of the slide format or template I use.  The color is even present on new slide files.  However, the color is not there when in presentation mode.  Please see attached file for an example.  Seems like there should be a simple solution.  I am using figma in the safari browser.  Never seen this problem before.  Thanks for the help.  

Hey all! Our design team needs to learn Figma on the fly and are looking for recommendations for the best current foundational course. They are experienced designers who have primarily worked out of Adobe CC and are new to Figma. They’re looking to learn all the Figma basics (excluding prototyping), with a focus on design system creation/maintenance. For background, I took Mizko’s Ultimate Figma Masterclass and found it very helpful, but also outdated. I’m looking to find a similar course that includes hands-on practice, but am hoping there’s one that is more up to date with the latest Figma UI. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hi everyone, I would need your help.Especially the safari fans out there!On my last safari I created an excel file with all animals I wanted to see and then manually crossed them out after a sighting. I couldn’t find a decent and simple app for that. So a couple of months ago I developed a super simple iOS and android app for that. It’s still very basic, but I would love to hear your feedback. Hi! I’ve created a dialog component in one Figma Make file and I want to use it in another file.What’s the best way to import or copy it over? Should I copy-paste it manually or is there a better way to reuse components across files in Figma Make?

file structure : ai-assistant-data.ts Is there a way I can edit the content of .ts files / code? By the look of it, I can download the highlighted .ts -  and it contain the various chunks of prose. When I click on ai-assistant-data.ts nothing happens (I’d perhaps expect it to show in the code window) I would like to edit these directly and save if possible. 

It’s not about the loading.It just instantly says “Error: An error occurred while using the tool get_code”.It happens only for ‘get code’. get images, metadata, and all others are working.Both on Cursor and Claude code on Vscode. 

how long does it take to practice figma as a beginner , although  I have already have knowledge about how to use the figma app

hello with figma make can we use the design on a random figma file out of figma make ?  

When I design a presentation on Figma (as a prototype), I add the correct weight for each font (Regular, Medium, Bold, Italic) - when I present it, some of the texts’ font weight revert to Regular. Does anyone else have a similar issue? Know of any solutions so that the font weight won’t change when running a protoype? Thanks 🙂

I’m using Make to make a prototype. Today it kept changing layouts and functions when I give it something unrelated, then it won’t revert back. It say’s it has reverted back but it hasn’t.I just noticed something that was a massive change and I don’t know when it happened. Possibly hours of work gone. Very, very frustrating. Would love to know if others are getting this too.
