Fixed Bottom Navigation disappears in Figma Prototype with Vertical Scrolling

In my prototype, the frame has Vertical scrolling. Header and Bottom Navigation are fixed. The header stays visible but the fixed Bottom Navigation disappears completely. If I disable 'Fix position when scrolling', the Bottom Navigation appears normally. A simple test in a new frame works. Why does this happen?

    This behavior does seem strange. A fixed element disappearing usually comes down to layer structure rather than the scroll setting itself, so I have a couple of questions to help us narrow it down:

    1.  Is the Bottom Navigation frame a direct child of the scrolling frame, or is it nested inside another frame/group first? "Fix position when scrolling" can behave unpredictably if it's buried a level or two deep.
    2. Does the parent frame (or any frame between the nav and the scrolling frame) have Clip content enabled? That can hide a fixed layer even though it's technically still "there."
    3. Is the Bottom Navigation a component instance? If so, does it have any overrides, or was "Fix position when scrolling" applied to the instance itself vs. an inner layer?
    4. Lastly, layer order... Is the nav sitting underneath another full-width layer (like a background or the content frame) in the layers panel?

    Since your simple test frame works, the fastest way to isolate it is usually to duplicate the working test setup, then copy your real content into it piece by piece until it breaks. This should show you exactly which layer or setting is the culprit. If you can share a view only link to the prototype (or even just a screenshot of your layers panel for that screen), we can also try to take a closer look that way.
