I made this overlapping text by converting ‘my’ to vector (Add Stroke Outline), and making that stroke white. The problem is the effect relies on a white stroke, so it only works if I export the whole image with a white background. I want it to have a transparent background so it will work on dark mode. Any help is appreciated - thank you!

I’m using the latest version of Figma on my education account and have activated AI, but I don’t see the AI prompt in the toolbar for creating prototypes, designs, or suggesting auto layout. Does anyone know why these features might not be available?

We know slides was made for people who can’t design but can manage. so all the focus is now again on the people who manage the work vs the doers. I am currently trying to verify which users belong to the monthly and annual subscriptions from the user list. However, when reviewing the console, it only reflects the total number of users under each subscription type. I am unable to find an option to view the individual users assigned to these two subscription categories. In the right side i can’t find the boolean property button of the icon of the component. Instead of boolean property button appeared “apply variable mode” button in the Appearance section. How can I find boolean property button?

In the enterprise instance of Figma, we have amended the sharing settings to allow a larger time window for recipients to view. For some reason, this has now deleted 6 out of 7 prototypes with no idea of how to return them. Wasting 2 days of work just before a large stakeholder demo. Weve raised a support ticket, sent direct emails and no response - anyone in the community faced this problem before and know a solution?

Hi, I’m having trouble using “Navigate to” overrides on component variant interactions. I’m trying to make a component where a non-default variant will navigate to a different frame (while the rest just change between the varients). For example. I have a list that you can navigate up and down with the arrow keys (the arrow keys here are changing the list component between variants of each other. When you press up from the top of the list, it navigates to a new frame, when you press down at the bottom of the list, it navigates to a new frame. For some reason, this only works for the variant that is set first when starting the prototype (whether the first or last item is selected by default). Is this a bug? As designed? Any workarounds other than having individual frames for each list item being focused? Figma – 30 Jun 22

Hi all, I work with local color styles in a document and the buttons I use in the document are always based on primary and secondary color. For the hover I’ve made styles named “primary alt” and “secondary alt”. However, the document will be used for multiple clients, so the primary and secondary colors will constantly change. Is it possible that I base the hover colors on the primary and secondary colors, but make them slightly darker. So when I change the primary color from green to red, the hover color automatically changes from dark green to dark red. Thank you in advance!

The alt 1 or 2 shortcuts are not working, i cant find anyone else with this problem after the update, so i have no idea how to fix this. The only thing i see are my pages and i don’t know how to switch it to my layers. Also why is the view left panel gone from the view tab it was so nice to have? Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, I have created my first Figma Slides Template to be used by my colleagues (also non-designers) and I am looking for an easy way for them to be able to import excel or google spreadsheet tables into the Figma Slides. I have tried to use the Table to Figma Plug-in, however, it does not work in Figma Slides. All plugins are disabled for me for Figma Slides and it says it is unavailable in view-only. I have a professional plan.

Can anima is paid so I wasn’t able to run it’s code but for others the code is absolutely nothing also prototype isn’t working. Can someone tell me how I can convert the design to HTML? In order to onboard Figma a risk assessment must be completed and I need a point of contact at Figma to set that up prior to buying a license. I’m trying to create prototype for a desktop landing page where a relative vertical scroll relationship between an image and a text box is maintained at the same time as a page-wide vertical relationship is also maintained. I am essentially trying to mimic vertically scrolling on a page where a text and image pair crawl into the screen according to the user’s scroll input AS well as having the image and text pair crawl at different speeds and also briefly stick together. A more detailed description is in the attached image Does anyone have any idea of how to do this in Figma? I’m not sure if it is even possible in Figma with its prototyping features. If it isn’t, can anyone tell me what UI prototyping. I’ve tried using component prototype functions. But I am honestly stumped.
