I am trying to re-verify my student account and wondered if anyone can support with this?I understand I should have access for 6 months meaning the expiry should be on 14 January 2026. I completed the online course with Udemy. Please let me know if you need further details. 

What exactly is this $14.84 for if I’m already paying $20 for the additional full seat?

I had a Figma account registered with this some email address. Unfortunately, I have lost access to that email account.After the recent Figma update, when I try to log in, it asks me not only for my username and password but also for an access code that is sent to my email. Since I no longer have access to that email, I can’t enter the code and therefore can’t log in to my Figma account.As a result, I’ve lost access to all my files and projects, which are extremely important for my work. I’m really worried because I need them urgently to continue working.Could someone please tell me how to recover access to my account or transfer my files to a new email address?Thank you so much for your help — this is very important to me.

This is just a bug report (if this belongs somewhere else happy to submit this there) The Mobile Product Review Slides template uses Whyte as the title font but that’s unavailable for most users. I’ve been using IBM Plex Serif as a replacement, but anyway, worth changing so users don’t run into this bug in the future.

I want to use a pen tablet in Figma Design. It basically works out of the box. The `Pencil` tool supports pen pressure, but how can I disable this?I want always to draw with a fixed width (like when I use a mouse). For example, in Photoshop, we can easily disable pen pressure from brush settings. 

When I apply my text property to my 'Ghost' variant, it removes my underline style on the text. Whenever I apply the underline style to my ghost variant again, it applies it to all my variants. Is this normal? 

Hi, I recently created a figma for education account, and messed up by deleting the account. I had verified the email for this account, and now, using the same email in the new account, I cannot reverify for education. What do I do to get figma for education verified again?

Im using the Coolicons Icon library. One day these yellow frame outlines appeared and I’m not sure why. What are these yellow outlines on my icon frames? Have never seen this come up in the past, not sure if this corresponds to ‘Absolute Position’ or not… How do I get rid of them? 

I have a component called tabs-btn with these properties: state: active / inactive text showIcon Then I have a main component Tabs that contains multiple nested instances of tabs-btn.I exposed all nested properties, so when I select a tab inside Tabs, I can see and edit its props directly — this part works fine.Now I want to add a visibility switcher (Boolean) for each tab instance — so that I can show or hide specific tabs inside the parent Tabs component.The problem is that Figma doesn’t allow assigning Booleans direct

I’ve already checked other posts mentioning this might be a bug, but I haven’t found a working solution yet.Also, copy & paste functions (Ctrl/Cmd + C / V) are not working for me either.Has anyone faced this issue recently or found a fix? Since about an hour ago, the mirroring connection between the pygma laptop and the phone has suddenly been disconnected, and the file of pygma has not been opened.Therefore, we are currently unable to work on it.

Now, I’m diving into Figma Sites, and it feels like a perfect fit — no more handing off designs to a developer for Webflow! But I’m a bit confused about the Professional plan tiers ($3–$16/mo). The help article Manage a custom domain for your site states: "Available on all paid plans" and "Professional plans can connect up to 10 custom domains." However, the pricing page suggests Figma Sites is only included with the Full seat ($16/mo), not Collab ($3/mo) or Dev ($12/mo).I reached out to support a week ago about this but haven’t heard back yet. Am I the only one who is totally confused as how the “Import from Figma” dialog window in Figma Make works? It shows only some files but not others, don’t know why. The text search is completely random IMO and you’re not able to select a specific page or a frame in the file - it just selects some random frame from a file.Why cannot I just browse all my projects and select a particular file and frame?From what I understood, selecting the design through this dialog is somehow superior to just copying and pasting a particular frame into the prompt. Figma Make is then able to extract more detailed information. Copying & pasting is just like a screenshot, I guess?

In the Share settings of a given file (Share button >  Can view > Advanced), the Discoverable via search checkbox option is unchecked by default.I would think this refers to search within Figma (vs discoverable in general search engines), but searching for these files returns them in the results even with this setting is unchecked and when I’m not a member of the Team or Project.What does checking or unchecking this option actually do? And is there a way to globally, or at a Team level, change the default setting?  

Hi! I'm currently testing the Figma MCP integration using Cursor. It works fine when running cursor from Windows, but I’d like to have everything set up and working from WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux).I tried forwarding port 3852, but it’s still not connecting properly.Has anyone managed to get it working from WSL? Any tips or steps you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know of a way to do promise-based messaging between the plugin and the UI? (@Gleb 🙂) Using the globals: parent.postMessage(...) → figma.ui.onmessage → figma.ui.postMessage(...) → window.onmessage can lead to spaghetti code… promises would be so much cleaner. Really only the UI → Plugin direction would be fine, e.g.: someCoolMessaging.post(type: 'get-some-data', payload: { id: 5 }).then(data => { console.log('got some data', data) }) .catch((error) => { console.log('error getting data from plugin') })
