Hi everyone, I ran out of AI credits in Figma while working on my website and now I can’t continue using the AI features. Is there any way to keep editing the project without them, or switch back to normal editing mode? Also, do credits reset or can they be topped up somehow? Thanks!
Hi everyone!Looking for 1 transfer ticket for Figma Config 2026 if anyone is no longer able to attend. I recently joined a new company and my whole design team is going, so I’d really love the chance to join as well. Please let me know if available. Thank you!
Hi, I want to duplicate a file but doing so doesn’t duplicate version history. A newly duplicated file has no history at all. Is there any way to export version history or make it duplicate as well along with the file?If Figma doesn’t provide such a functionality is there any plugin you can recommend? I have a quite big files with around 500 versions and “Figma Comments & Version History Exporter” plugin seems to support only small files (around 200 versions looks to be the limit). Cheers

We’re trying to connect Figma’s official remote MCP server to AWS Bedrock AgentCore Gateway for an internal enterprise AI workflow. We can discover the MCP/OAuth metadata correctly, but dynamic client registration to https://api.figma.com/v1/oauth/mcp/register returns 403 Forbidden, and existing Figma PAT/service-token auth is rejected by https://mcp.figma.com/mcp because it requires the mcp:connect OAuth scope. Our use case is not a public MCP client or IDE plugin. It is a secured internal gateway that already handles Auth0 user authentication and routes to Jira, GitHub, Lucid, and Figma tools. We would like to use the official Figma MCP instead of maintaining a REST-based workaround. Is there a supported path for enterprise/internal AgentCore gateways to obtain an approved mcp:connect OAuth client, or to register an internal/private MCP client that is not listed publicly in the Figma MCP Catalog?
I have a confetti animation created using interactive components with 66 sequential frames connected using a 1 ms delay. It works fine until I trigger an Open overlay / Close overlay animation on the same screen. The confetti pauses until the overlay animation finishes. Is there any workaround to keep both animations running simultaneously in the prototype?
I’ve got a pretty simple component with five variants (essentially an icon that changes color), and each one is set on-click to change to the next one (A to B, B to C, C to D, D to E, E to A).But for some reason, actually clicking in the prototype, it seems to get stuck on the third variant, and toggles back to the second instead of going to the fourth. I’ve tried deleting the interaction and recreating it and the same thing happens.Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
I’m working with Figma Variables and trying to understand how variable references behave across collections and modes.I currently have two variable collections:Tier 2 (semantic tokens) Tier 3 (component-specific tokens)Both collections have two variable modes/themes:Mode 1 (default) Mode 2Here’s my issue:Inside the Tier 3 collection, I want to reference a variable from the Tier 2 collection — but specifically the value from Mode 2, not the default mode. However, when I create a reference in Tier 3 to a Tier 2 variable, Figma seems to only reference/show the default mode value from Tier 2.My questions are:Is it possible to explicitly reference a specific mode from another collection? If mode-to-mode mapping is required, what is the correct setup to ensure Tier 3 Mode 2 pulls from Tier 2 Mode 2?
So I’m using Figma Make to develop an app, have been working on it for months now and everything has been going really well so far. I was backing up to Github and then pushing to Vercel to deploy to my app, was great, everything working smoothly, I had testers working on it and surprised at how it was running so well. That was until the 22nd April (Sydney time) Figma Make decided to move all my files from the /src/ folder to a brand now /src/app/ folder without any notice and my deployments started breaking. It took me a while, but comparing github commits and noticing there was a huge file list in one of them being moved, I finally figured out the root cause of the problem. In the meantime I had tried to get Figma Make to move everything back, but the root cause of the problem was that Figma Make, no matter what work was done on the entrypoints and other import paths, etc, was ALWAYS pointing to the new structure of /src/app/.I considered starting from scratch and had my previous commi
Hi, I submitted my Figma plugin "Flaude" for community review over a week ago and it's still showing as under review. I haven't received any feedback or status updates. Could you let me know: 1. What the typical review timeline is for new plugins? 2. Whether there's anything I need to fix or update on my submission? Happy to provide any additional information needed to move the review forward. Thanks!
Hi community, I'm currently reworking the frontend data layout for a public menu directory and nutrition calculator hub. Managing large tables with multiple dynamic vectors (like pricing structures, age-appropriate caloric counts, macros, and allergen warnings) is becoming a huge headache when optimizing for mobile-first rendering. On our main directory page here: https://chickensaladchickmenu.us/, we implemented a clean responsive grid system using compact UI cards for the younger demographic's data sheet, but standard clinical tables still look cluttered on small screens. How do you guys usually handle massive multi-column data sheets in your design projects? Do you prefer sticky column headers, horizontal swipe indicators, or hiding advanced nutritional metrics behind an expandable overlay trigger? Would love some layout inspiration or component tips!
I want to downgrade my team from figma education to starter.I upgraded my team to Education, but some of my team members can't authenticate Figma Education, so I need to downgrade it.
I went to buy the Figma Config 2026 in-person ticket and it got sold out. Just need to buy one.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to get hold of the Figma Android APK? I’d like to sideload it onto a device which does not have access to the Play Store in order to test a prototype in situ.
So, for my class I have to remake my prototype of my app which is a whack-a-mole style game, and I'm trying to figure out how to make the image of the coin that I'm using as the mole to move in random places after you click it.Like in applab/codelab ⇓I'm having trouble doing the same thing in Figma and tried looking it up to see if I could find an answer but haven’t found a single helpful answer. I've figured out the timer and score except for the coin. So, I would love for some tips or directions on how to do it.
I have a dev seat which is paid. Now I want to convert to a full seat. I don’t want to add another full seat. suggest the way
Hey Figma community 👋I've been working with Figma for a while now and I keep seeing the same pain points come up — both from people I've helped and from questions I see repeated here constantly. So I wanted to put this out there: if you're stuck, I'm happy to help. Here are the problems I help people solve most often:Components and variants breaking — props not showing up, instances overriding incorrectly, nested component logic going wrong Auto layout chaos — frames not behaving as expected, spacing/padding resetting, wrapping issues, or responsive layouts falling apart Variables and styles confusion — setting up token systems, colour modes, typography variables, or syncing styles across pages/files Design system organisation — structuring files for teams, setting up a shared library that doesn't create chaos when updated Prototype and interaction logic — conditional flows, interactive components, or overlays that just won't behave Plugin and widget issues — finding the right plugin f
Figma just hit me with surprise charges and won't refund - anyone else?Ugh, I'm so frustrated right now. Figma basically scammed me out of $33.87 and their support is being useless about it.What went down: We're a tiny team, only need 2 seats. But somehow our June bill had these random "new seat costs" for $33.87 that I never asked for. Like... what? The breakdown:2 Full seats (what we actually use): $40 ✓ Mystery charges: $33.87 ❌Figma's excuse: "Oh you approved it!" - umm no I didn't? When?? Where's the proof?Apparently when you change seat types, they hit you with "prorated charges" on your NEXT bill. Who tf knows what that even means? They never explained it when it happened.Support has been trash:First person: gave me a wall of text that explained nothing Second person: basically said "tough luck, you used the seats" Third person: "no refund because reasons"The most annoying part: They keep saying I "approved" these upgrades but can't show me where/when I did that. Their system is
I am trying to design something where when I click one chip it becomes active and every other chip becomes inactive. I cannot achieve this no matter what I try. AI is telling me to write an expression in design mode; i cannot do this. This is for potentially hundreds of chips, I can’t make a variable for each one.Ideally I would like to do the following:In PROTOTYPE: When a chip is clicked, set a variable to that name. In DESIGN: In the instance, set its state to a condition, ie “if chipName == [this chip], make this active. Otherwise inactive:I cannot find any way to do this. Someone please help me. AI says that there should be a f(x) button in the assign variable dropdown in design mode but it’s not there, despite me being on a pro plan.
I have the integration working from Figma to Slack - comments appear in my slack channel but when I reply to them in a thread, the replies do not appear in the figma file.
Hello,I am currently unable to activate my Figma Education plan, even though my education status has already been approved by SheerID.During my first verification attempt, there was a technical issue and I deleted my Figma account because I thought restarting the process would solve it.My team is already on an Education plan, and everyone in the team except me currently has full edit access. On my side, Figma still displays a message saying that I need to verify my education status, and that my edit access will soon be restricted.SheerID has confirmed that my verification was approved and provided me with the related verification details. The issue is that when I try to verify again, I receive an error saying that I have exceeded the number of verification attempts for this email. SheerID says they cannot reset anything because, on their side, the verification is already approved. Figma support has not replied to my emails yet.So I am currently stuck in a technical loop:SheerID verifica
I have a plugin to find accessibility issues. We fetch images, traverse the tree and do all sorts of operations but ever since migrating to the new documentAccess: ‘dynamic-page’, the plugin has become slower.
Hi team,I submitted my plugin “Site Palette” for review about two weeks ago, and it’s still showing as private with the message: “This page is private for now. Only you can see it while your plugin is in review.”The plugin connects to a palette.site account and imports saved website color palettes as Figma local variables. It passed submission without any errors, and I haven’t received any feedback or approval email since.Could someone please check the status and flag it internally? I’d really appreciate any update. Thanks!
I submitted my plugin for review on March 8th, and as of today (March 27th) I still haven't received any feedback from the Figma team. No approval, rejection, or requests for changes. That's over 20 days of waiting, while the submission form indicated a turnaround of 5-10 business days.Could anyone share how long the review process is currently taking? Is this wait time normal right now, or should I follow up somewhere specific?
Here’s my setup:I have a full website frame called “Desktop - 1”. Inside this frame, there is a transparent header/navbar placed over the hero image. The navbar contains: logo search icon navigation items (“Destinos”, “Experiências”, “Sobre”) burger menu login icon CTA button Originally, I built the navbar separately as isolated components and the hover animations worked perfectly. What I’m trying to achieve:When hovering “Destinos”, a green selector line appears underneath it. Same behavior for “Experiências” and “Sobre”. Smooth hover transition using Smart Animate. My current structure:“Desktop - 1” → full page/frame with hero section and transparent navbar. Separate component called “Component 4” → isolated navbar version with the green selector line under “Destinos”.The problem:When I integrate everything into the full desktop frame, the hover animation starts flickering/glitching.It looks like Figma is transitioning between:the full desktop frame and the isolated navbar compone
