Hi, I’m really new in using figma. Usually our company are using adobe XD, then we plan to change to figma. Both of us don’t expose too much with figma, especially frame and rectangle. What is the different between them? Is using frame for everything such as button, card, etc is following the industry standard? Is that so, it’ll be the frame on the frame right, since it’s different from XD that use artboards is specific for the website layout.  Also, anything do I need to know else about figma?

Hi,I have a rectangle with:Fill 1: Image (cropped/repositioned) Fill 2: Gradient overlayIn Dev Mode, developers can download the original image asset, but is there a way to download the cropped image only (using the image fill crop settings) without the gradient applied?Or is separating the image and gradient into different layers still the only option?Thanks!

I frequently encounter conflicts like this when merging branches. Anyone know where they come from? There is no useful info here to figure out what it is.For context, this is a branch in the Components file. I guess the cause from changes in the Foundation file that are linked to Components, but I'm not sure.

Hello There, I accidentally approved a full seat and on the spot I noticed and removed it but the amount is already added to my bill .. Tried to contact figma for that but no response .. also I read this is very common mistake with no additional confirmation that needs figma to add extra security before proceeding.

Hello! I’m looking to buy a Config 2026 ticket, does any one have any recommendations on where to find one? 

I use the New York Times app. Stories often use a scrolling technique that displays text as the user scrolls down. Continued scrolling will display a map or some data related to the story. It’s a very engaging way to get the news highlights before reading the full article. I think it’s called scrolly telling.Is there a Figma tutorial on this technique? Has anyone developed a prototype using this technique?Thank you

Hi, I need to transfer over a design for a Klaviyo email flow from figma to Klaviyo...it is a copy and paste situtaion? I’m very new to this so any advice would be great. The simplest way of transferring over the info would be great!

Hi all,Rather than to wade into the already-existing frustration over the AI credits, I’d like to find the cheapest solution to needing more than my Professional Figma Make 3000/mo AI credit allotment. Why wouldn’t a solo dev like myself just add another seat for double AI credits (6000, or 3000 each) rather than paying for (monthly) extremely exorbitant Addon credits? I added Figma MCP to my project and also added implement design skill but Crusor keeps producing very irrelevant designs. What I need is recreating the Figma design in SwiftUI with Pixel accuracy. I am ok  if it will use PNGs instead of vector shapes. However it keeps looking at screenshots and creating something visually similar yet far from original design. Is there a way to translate Figma design to SwiftUI literally?

Hi everyone,We are currently building our own design system using these PrimeVue components as a base, so I’d like to understand how this setup affects future updates.I have a question about how updates work with PrimeVue components.I copied some components from the PrimeVue library into my own design system and adjusted them to fit our styles. I can’t find a way to use the Pencil and Brush tools within an existing mask. The new layers are not placed within it, even if it’s selected, or if a layer within it is selected.The Pen tool behaves differently, behaving like you would expect.1) Is there a way?2) If there isn’t, please consider this a feature request :p Thanks.

Hi Figma community,I've hit a wall with a nested instance resizing issue. My team maintains two separate libraries: one for Icons and one for Components (which consumes the Icon library).When swapping an icon variant inside a component instance, the icon is retaining the default variant's dimensions and stretching the internal vector, rather than snapping to the new variant's native size.Here is the exact setup and the behavior I'm seeing:The Setup Icon Library: Icons are built as a variant set (24x24, 20x20, 16x16, 12x12). Each variant is a regular frame with fixed width/height and Left/Top position constraints. The internal vector layer is set to Scale/Scale. Component Library (The Button): We have a Button component with an auto-layout frame (Horizontal, Hug/Hug, Center-Center, 8px gap, 16px L / 20px R / 12px T/B padding, min-width 112px). Inside the Button, there is a text layer (Auto Width) and a nested instance of the Icon (defaulted to the 24x24 variant). The Problem When I
