I am new to Figma,  I have been following the wonderful tutorials out on youtube.  I really love this program!  I am trying to accomplish this effect- on this website it happens at the “ WE ARE.”  It grows and expands to my eyes.  How do I accomplish this please?  Is there a plugin that accomplishes this effect?  https://www.landing.love/sites/svz/Hi- how do I expand the letters or an object to come to the screen towards the viewer’s eyes?

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with image fills in Figma — whenever I try to switch the Fill mode from “Fill” to “Crop”, it doesn’t work. The dropdown lets me click “Crop,” but it immediately switches back to “Fill,” and no crop handles appear on the canvas.Here’s what I’ve tried: Selected a regular rectangle and applied an image fill. Attempted to switch the Fill mode to “Crop” (doesn’t stick). Made sure I’m not inside a component instance or group. Checked for multiple fills — only one is applied. Tried in both the browser and the desktop app. Refreshed the browser and restarted Figma. Tried with a brand new file — same issue. This used to work fine before, so I’m not sure if it’s a bug, a corrupted setting, or something I’m missing.Has anyone faced this before? Any ideas on how to fix it? 

I have created a component set with multiple frames. Frame 1 has an input field which I connected in frame 2 where a keyboard slides up. I was able to choose “change to” and select “slide in”. It worked great. When I tried doing the same thing for another component set the slide in option was disabled. Why?? 

So I’m creating a stop animation with images in figma. And I’ve selected all my components and I want to create a variant set. But I cannot see the option for this. Has it been removed or changed? 

So I’ve done everything properly steps and all created a menu with 4 buttons > applied auto layout > made it into a component > added a variant > named them as their states > prototyped as required > added the instance on to the screen and when finally presenting when I click the button it opens upside down. this has me so demotivated as I’m just beginning to learn Figma. Please help me creators.

I am trying to design a documents page like the picture above. I have a situation where I need to create a dropdown where upon selecting one of the options will create a another question prompt along with a textbox for the user to fill out. This will also push down the other content that was originally below the dropdown to fit the new question prompt along with the textbox. Is there a way to do so? 

Hi everyone,We are experiencing an issue with one of our Figma files and would appreciate your help.Basically we’re collaborating on NPI pages - both the copy and design teams are working in the same file. The specific page we were working on contains 6 sections, each with approximately 6 frames. We had been adding content (images and copy) and updating some components to showcase the correct font.At some point, several unexpected changes occurred in the layout:-Some components moved unexpectedly in the page, either upwards into other sections or downwards out of their frames.-Nested elements within components also shifted or changed in structure.-The overall organisation of the sections was disrupted without any clear action that would explain it.We’re unsure what triggered these changes, and unfortunately, we now need to manually clean up and re-organise the affected areas. Hello,I’m creating a website on Figma Sites with components whose text I’d like to scale depending on browser size. Unfortunately, though the breakpoints function correctly for text styles outside of these components, they don’t function within the components. This only occurs in preview/publish, and the text resizes correctly when viewing in the main edit screen.Any help or tips would be appreciated - I’ve looked around a bit and have seen some other issues with text breakpoints on Sites, perhaps this is related? Call me blind, but… Where in UI3 are the Boolean operations? i.e. Union, Subtract, Intersect, Exclude These used to be on the main toolbar.

I’m having what seems like a two-tiered issue, one one hand nested components are sometimes reverting to their default properties when a new instance is created. However this does not become apparent unless I change the variable mode that I am using. For example I have 4 modes that cover 2 different branding in a light and a dark mode. The strange issue here is that this seems to only affect nested components. And on top of that Figma is lying about the impact of variables on nested components properties - as it is displaying that they are not connected, but they seem to be connected and working as intended in some instances. Here is the master component, its variable mode has been set to “A - light” this is important for some reason as this will dictate if the text property and icon instance are carried over. (I’ll attach some more images and context here as replies)

Hi there, y’all!I’m currently making this component that should be able to be sized responsively. However, when I drag it to widen the component, the right icon is staying in the same place. I’d like to keep the assets on the left (^Component) anchored to that side but anchor the plus sign on the right hand side to the right side so that it responsively widens. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Thank you so much and apologies for poorly explaining that- would be happy to elaborate! 

Hello. We’re having issues with text glitches. Some random characters are showing small glitches. Random because it’s an unpredictable inconsistency depending on who knows what - size, settings etc? Sometimes making a small adjustment like character space or vertical trim resolves the glitch, sometimes not. There appears to be no consistency with the issue and no catch-all solution, so it makes for a very impractical situation when using the font at scale. The font in question is Adobe Clean - it is activated via Universal Type Client at our company. They’ve tried removing and reloading, in fact we’ve been through all the suggested solutions inc “Recompute Text Layout in Selection” and “Regenerate All Instances (Slow)”, and toggling all settings in Type Settings > Detail. Some things work in some situations but it’s too random to be practical. The issue also remains when exporting content with the problematic text. Two examples attached. Any help or advice welcome.

When designing a barchart in Figma, I run into this problem:I created the bar as a component with hover over state The hover over state contains a visual showing the exact metrics I designed the bar in Auto layout to create entries for each day (x-axis represents days of the month) The bars are created in Auto Layout and do not overflow, using Clip Content does not workWhat I like to do is show the whole hover over element without it being cut off by the next ‘Auto layout’ bar, see screenshot below, and video for reference.  Here is a video of how the prototype works and how I setup the file:   Hope someone can help me out here :) Thanks!

Is Figma make instructed to give output in react and tailwind only?  How can we use other technologies to get prototype of our Figma designs using Figma Make?When I tried to use angular, it didn't even show the preview and asked me to convert into react app to see the preview.
