 I created a prototype using Figma Make and saved it both as a file with the .make extension and as code in a .zip file. After that, I started a new project, but it didn’t work out, so now I want to return to my previous project. How can I restore my earlier project from these files?I am asking the question here since I was waiting for sale team to call me for over 10 days and they don't bother to contact me. This is first time it my life to meet a company which has great product and miserable sales department. Usually it works in opposite LOL 

Hi everyone,I'm currently taking over a large Figma project from another company, and I’ve run into a major issue with component linking. I’ll try to explain as clearly as possible:The previous team provided me with several Figma files: A working file A library file (which includes the UI kit, components, ...) A color styles file An icon file I uploaded all of these files into my company’s Figma workspace. Then I published the three system files (library, color styles, icons) so they act as design system libraries.After that, I opened the working file and added all three published libraries to it. The problem is: none of the components in the working file are connected to the published library. They appear as external components but not linked. Manually linking works correclty, but this project has over 100+ pages, so manually relinking everything isn’t realistic.My questions are: Am I missing a key step in the import or publishing process? Hello, I am a researcher of laboratory in a university in South Korea.I want to use Figma for research project what i’m participating now.When I clicked GET VERIFIED of educational plan, forms asked me like below : Are you a STUDENT/EDUCATOR/ADMIN? Why do you apply educational plan of figma? What is your school name? What is your main lecture about? Upload your lecture syllabus and urlI couldn’t answer question 1, 4, and 5. So I want to ask if researcher of lab in univ can apply and get free figma education plan.(My University is in list when I clicked question 3) Thank you for reading.

"How can I fix the issue where pressing the shortcut to increase font size in Figma creates a code block instead?"

Apologies if this is simple or has been asked before but I can’t find a solution. I have a component that needs to have a fixed width but the height can vary depending on the ratio of the image at the top of the component. I need the ability for the image to keep the fixed width but adjust the height in proportion to the files ratio. No matter what I do the image container never seems to adjust and there isn’t a hug option on the image. This means if I select a landscape image instead of pulling all the content up the image frame stays the same size with the image flowing in the middle. Figma – 22 Mar 24

the prompt for changing the component width, doesn't work in  Figma make, is there any prompt structure, that works?

Hi. I’m prototyping a design. On some step I have to navigate to 3 different pages depending on option user choose above. So I created 3 boolen variables first to imlement it. But when I was creating conditioal logic in prototyping I wasn’t able to use “if” under “else” statement. How can I implement it?

Hi,I’m running into a serious issue and would appreciate any help.Recently, my company changed the domain of our Google Workspace email addresses. After this change, when I log in to Figma, all of my projects and files are gone — it looks like I have a brand new empty account.I’m not sure if this is related to the domain change, but I suspect that my files are still tied to the old Google Workspace account. Hello everyone, I am facing a critical issue with a Figma file and I need urgent help. I was working on a project with a submission deadline today, and the file has gone missing. Here's what happened: I was working on a file using my work account (personal information redacted). I transferred the file's ownership to my personal account (personal information redacted). I then mistakenly deleted the file from the original work account. Now, the file is unavailable on both accounts. I recently published a website using Figma Sites, but I noticed that even after several days, the site still does not appear in search engine results (Google, Bing, etc.) — it’s only accessible via the direct link.I’m opening this thread to better understand how SEO is currently being handled in Figma Sites and to see if others are experiencing the same: Are sites built with Figma Sites being properly indexed by search engines? I am creating a simple Icon library for a team project. I noticed, in the Material design library from Google, they have folders for different assets like buttons, headers, input fields etc. (attached image). How do I create those in my library? Thank you for your help.

Previously, videos would autoplay on it’s own and it seems like Figma pushed an update which allowed us to have more granular control i.e. autoplay/loop/sound But it seems like my video isn’t playing on presentation mode anymore irregardless of the video settings. After troubleshooting, I found that this is an issue with Figma Desktop App as the video plays as intended on browser. I have also updated my Figma Desktop App, restarted my computer etc but to no avail. Just wondering if i’m the only one going through this 😕

Good morning,We are embedding Figma prototypes all over the IBM.com domain and we have recently been notified by our web security team regarding the 3rd party scripts that are being loaded.  Such as: Google tag manager, GA, Facebook Pixel and Naver….  Is there a way that these tracking scripts can be disabled when we place the iframe prototype onto our pages?

Is there a way to enable scrolling of content inside an instance created from a component?(without prototyping, just screen in figma)For example:I created a shop page as a component. Content inside is a long column of items cards. I want to be able to scroll the content inside the instance of this component so that I can assemble different flows using the shop page.

Hello,My developers cannot sort past updates into Ready for Dev. They are sorted by default in "Page" and not in "Recent activity" (which is useless) They cannot therefore follow the updates correctly.
