Figma is forced to always use the latest version because it is a web-based, not a local application.

But, there is an official link where older versions are available in case of older OS, you can try it:

You need to replace the final piece (125.4.9 → 124.0.2, eg.) of the link to match the version you're looking for.

The links don’t work. Is there an update on this? I’ve been using Figma in the browser but it is very slow, constantly loading  and it’s taking me 2x as much time to work.

Hey @johnathan.frydman — thanks for checking in, and I’m sorry to hear about the loading issues you’re seeing. Here are a few more suggestions to help narrow this down and get you back up to speed:

  1. The ability to use a previous version of Figma Design is not supported. You can review the system requirements here: What are the system requirements for Figma?
  2. Does it happen in all your files or only specific ones?
  3. How often does it occur — every time or just occasionally?
  4. Have you tried refreshing the browser tab?
  5. Are you seeing the slowdown in the Figma Desktop App as well?
  6. Can you describe the steps leading up to the loading issue?

If that doesn’t resolve things, our Technical Quality team can take a closer look at the specific file you’re working in. You can get that started by filling out this form and including:

  • a link to the file where this is happening
  • “Can edit” access granted to support-share@figma.com for the impacted file
  • a screen recording showing the issue in action.

Thanks again for taking the time to troubleshoot — we’ll keep watch for your reply and help get this sorted.
