Hi Figma Forum,Our company’s Rego design file has suddenly become inaccessible and has disappeared from both Recents and its original project.File URL: https://www.figma.com/design/79KToD9v5xBJOW7AwSkhJV/RegoFile ID: 79KToD9v5xBJOW7AwSkhJVThe error message says there is an issue with the Design file’s sharing settings and that the owner has been notified by email.I previously had full access to this file, and our company admin has checked the permissions. However, the file is now missing from the file browser, and I cannot access it using the original link.Could you please investigate the file on your side and help us establish: Whether the original file still exists and where it is located. Whether it was deleted, moved, or affected by an ownership or sharing-permissions issue. Whether the original design file, including its pages, components, comments, and version history, can be restored. This file contains important company design work, so we would appreciate urgent assistance

This is literally what I got from their chat! Totally contradictory statements!! First step tells me I wil loose my changes, I push back and it says ok there is a way fro save your changes?? Why wouldn't saving 3 days of work nbc the first priority? Fiogma you really need to make this a priority fix! I have seen old posts with this issue so it has been around for a long time!!! Loosing work is not acceptable, we are not in the 90s! That message appears when Figma has offline changes stored locally that haven't synced to the cloud yet. Since this has persisted for 3 days, clearing your cache will remove those offline changes and let you restart without the warning — but note that any unsaved offline changes will be lost and cannot be recovered .My reply"but note that any unsaved offline changes will be lost and cannot be recovered" This is not acceptable!Figma AI reply There's a way to preserve your changes before clearing anything. Figma stores offline changes locally for up to 30 days

When you try to add a web link to a figjam on the Figma iPad app, the paste function does not work. I have tried to long press to paste a link, but no options are visible. The only way to add a link is to type it manually… Can this be fixed asap?  I was able to use the link feature fine in the now retired FigJam app for iPad so this is extremely frustrating.

Description:When using Find and Replace in Figma, the search scope (Search in this file / Search in all pages) can be clearly visible and configurable before the search begins.Currently, if “Search in all pages” remains selected from a previous search, users may unintentionally perform a broader search than intended. Suggested Improvement: Display the search scope options before executing the search. Make the currently selected scope clearly visible. Allow users to switch between “Search in this file” and “Search in all pages” before execution. Consider defaulting to the current page/file scope when appropriate, rather than retaining a broader scope without sufficient visibility.   Rationale:This would improve user control, prevent unintended broad searches, and potentially reduce unnecessary processing time in large files. Expected Outcome:Users can make an informed scope selection before each search, improving predictability, efficiency, and overall usability.

I attached a short video about My problem, What's wrong? This is the first time I see issue like this.

Figma Beta Desktop App opens a new window instead of reopening the closed tab. I use the shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + TGoogle Drive LINKFigma Beta App Version 126.10.3Thank you

Until recently, using the “Export” function in the sidebar opened up a window that showed the last folder used for export. This was quite useful as it allowed for multiple exports to occur into the same folder without needing to dig for the folder each time.As of last week though, using the “Export” function always defaults the save folder to the Downloads directory instead of the last used export directory.I can understand defaulting to a directory in lieu of a preference, but can a preference be set within Figma to either default to the last used or default to a specific directory? My workflow benefits greatly from doing multiple exports to a unique directory and this new change has slowed things down quite a bit. Thanks!

I MEAN I TRIED THE TEXT ON PATH FEATURE, AND I COULDN’T ANIMATE IT, ANIMATION BUTTON IS DISABLED FOR THIS

When using FigJam connector lines to map user flows in a Figma design file, I can attach either end of a connector line to any element within a regular frame. However, when I manage each UI screen as an instance of a screen component, I can no longer attach the connector line to any element inside that frame instance.

SummaryI'd like Mistral's MCP client to be added to the Figma MCP Catalog so that Mistral users can connect to the official remote Figma MCP server (https://mcp.figma.com/mcp).The problemMistral's Le Chat, now part of Mistral Vibe (Vibe Work), supports custom MCP connectors. These connect to remote servers over Streamable HTTP and support OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration. When I add https://mcp.figma.com/mcp as a custom connector, [describe what happened, e.g. the connection fails with "MCP connection requires additional information or is invalid" / HTTP 403 during registration].From the forum thread "Figma's approach breaks the core promise of MCP", I understand the remote server allowlists client_name during dynamic client registration, and that only clients in the MCP Catalog can currently authenticate. Mistral's client doesn't appear to be on that list. Why it matters- Mistral is a major AI provider with a large user base, particularly in Europe, where many teams choose it

Hi Figma Support Team,I’m experiencing a recurring issue with Figma Make that’s making it almost impossible to work. Every time I use Make to generate or update something on a page, it completes the action and then automatically refreshes back to the Home screen, closing my active file and interrupting my workflow.

We’ve been using Figma Design for a while now to host interactive presentations via embeds. Earlier this week something changed in our Enterprise Account setup and we no longer can add any embeds. Is this related with the setup only or are embeds not supported anymore under certain conditions?

The design appears correctly in the Figma editor, but when I export it as a PDF, some images are rendered in black, and certain design elements become misaligned and overlap. PDF exports were working correctly before this issue occurred. Duplicating the original file after the issue appeared does not resolve the problem. Exporting as PNG works correctly. The same PDF export issue occurs in Google Chrome. I have tried restarting the browser and Figma, exporting individual pages, and setting the PDF export quality to High, but the issue persists. Could you please investigate whether this issue is related to the PDF generation or rendering process?

I uploaded a variable font in Figma’s settings several weeks ago, and it had been working without any issues. Two or three days ago, I noticed that text links in my prototypes were switching to Inter when hovered. I uninstalled and reinstalled the variable font, tried the non-variable version, and even rebuilt some components—which I really don’t want to be doing this close to launch. Nothing fixed the issue.A few hours later, it suddenly resolved itself without me making any further changes, so I’m not sure what happened.Today, the problem has returned. I noticed that the uploaded font was no longer listed in Settings, so I uploaded it again. I’m the only person with access to my account, so nobody else could have removed it.After installing the font, I restarted Figma. I can now see all the standard variations of the variable font under “Your uploaded fonts,” but the font still disappears from some hover states in prototype mode. Figma displays the message: “Some missing fonts were re

I ran two AI operations this morning.  They both took an abnormally long time.  One of them cost me 1,332 AI credits!  The other one was 722 credits.  Is something broken? Here is the prompt I ran.  I got this out of ChatGPT - it was a cleanup of an already existing desgn. This one cost me 1332 credits.  I’;ll paste the other prompt below this one.  That one cost 722 credits.  CLASSY AGENT AGENT ONBOARDING DASHBOARDFINAL UX + TRAINING REFINEMENTIMPORTANT:The current Agent Onboarding Dashboard is APPROVED.DO NOT redesign this page.DO NOT change the overall Classy Agent Admin visual language. This task is a targeted refinement of the existing dashboard.Use the CURRENT DASHBOARD as the canonical Classy Agent Admin designstandard.Preserve its:- Warm off-white / cream page surfaces- Dark forest-green primary actions- Pale mint active / NEXT states- Pale warm-yellow Next Up card- Soft neutral borders- Dark primary text- Muted gray secondary text- Restrained professional appearance- Existing t

Hello Figma Support Team,I'm experiencing a font detection issue in Figma on Windows. Sandoll Cloud fonts and Adobe Fonts suddenly stopped appearing in Figma, even though they were working normally until the evening of October 13, 2026.I would appreciate your help investigating this issue.1. Issue descriptionUntil the evening of October 13, 2026, I was able to use my subscribed Sandoll Cloud fonts in Figma without any problems. However, the next day, these fonts suddenly became unavailable. The issue affects both Sandoll Cloud fonts and Adobe Fonts. For example, when I select text using SD Minburi, a font included in my active Sandoll Cloud subscription, Figma displays a yellow “A?” warning icon next to the font name. When I search for the font in the font picker, Figma returns “No matching fonts.”The font is also missing from the “Installed by you” font list.2. Hi everyone!I'm using Figma Weave with Seedance 2.5 Reference through the official Figma MCP integration in Codex. My Canvas workflow is connected to an Output node and exposed as a Tool. The agent can pass updated prompts and reference files through MCP and successfully generate videos. However, the Canvas and the Tool view I have open in my browser still show the previous setup. I cannot visually inspect or edit the actual inputs used for those MCP runs without replacing the prompt and reference files manually.I understand that creating and editing Weave workflows through the official MCP is not currently supported.Has anyone found a practical way to:• Open an MCP run in the UI with its exact prompt, reference files, settings, and output?• Restore or duplicate that run into an editable Canvas?• Keep the agent's runs and the browser workflow aligned without manually rebuilding the setup?Would using a separate workflow or published Tool for each scene help?I've already emailed Weave supp

Figma recently launched the feature for a grid to automatically add/remove rows depending on the content that’s actually in there.  Unfortunately it’s not working for me, and I haven’t seen anyone else talking about it. Let’s say I have a component with a grid, and it has about 4 rows worth of cards inside. When I use the instance of this component and hide 1 row’s worth of cards, the grid initially shrinks in height to hug the remaining 3 rows visible. But a few minutes later the instance will pop back to the height of 4 rows, leaving an empty row. If I toggle hide/show on the cards it will force Figma to recalculate the height and hug again, but then the same thing will happen again 2 minutes later.  The inverse is also true; if I include hidden extra cards in my component, and turn them on in the instance, the grid will initially grow in height to accomodate the extra cards, but later shrink again to the original number of rows, causing the extra cards to overflow the frame.

I’m interested in tools that solve a real, frustrating problem or save significant time—not another generic AI design tool. What task do you still find yourself doing manually that you wish a plugin could handle?

Hey team, my first and last names are reversed in my Config india 2026 ticket, the event requires govt id to match with the last name. I am unable to update the last name in the profile/ticket management page. Please help me in fixing this.

A kind of "template style" suddenly appeared in my presentation - two pink stripes that I can't get rid of in any way. This is what it looks like in reality. Slides should be white, without any motif, without any elements. There is no such thing in the preview;

Anybody else really dislike, that when you copy paste a link into FigJam there are horizontal and vertical options for how the link is displayed, but the size is not changeable? Why not? It is usually too big to fit in nicely and could be so simple to make the size adjustable.Hope this can be changed by the FigJam Devs!

I’m experiencing a prototype interaction bug across multiple Figma files. The visual elements remain in their correct positions, but their interactive/click areas are being automatically displaced or repositioned, causing the hit areas to appear somewhere else on the canvas. For example, in the attached screenshot, the Delete icon and Continue button are visually positioned correctly, but their corresponding blue interaction areas are significantly offset from the actual elements. This seems to happen with elements that have prototype interactions linking to another page/frame. The interaction areas appear to move or scroll independently from the elements they are supposed to be attached to.Expected behavior:The interaction/click area should remain aligned with the corresponding element and move together with it.Actual behavior:The interaction area becomes displaced from the visual element, sometimes appearing in a completely different position within the frame. This issue is occurring acr

Hi Figma Support Team,I’m experiencing an issue with the Layers panel in Figma.Previously, I could select multiple Frames and then use the Ctrl key while collapsing one of the selected Frames. This would collapse all the selected Frames at once. However, this behavior no longer works. Now, when I select multiple Frames and try to collapse one of them using the same method, only that particular Frame gets collapsed while the other selected Frames remain expanded. This was a very useful workflow for quickly organizing and managing large Figma files.Could you please confirm whether this behavior has been intentionally changed in a recent Figma update, or if this is a bug?If the feature has been changed, please let me know if there is an alternative shortcut or method to collapse all selected Frames simultaneously. Thanks for your help.
