Hi, I’m having trouble verifying domain ownership of a 2nd domain we own. Our 1st domain is verified - everything worked correctly. Here’s what I’m trying:Company admin > Settings > Domains Click “+ Domain” Copy the “figma-domain-...” Add it to our domain’s main TXT record (along with the other values there) with our DNS provider. Wait a few minutes until it says it’s live/in-sync. Come back to Figma > finish typing the domain name in the dialog that’s still open > click “Verify and add” Error:  “Unable to verify domain”  “We were unable to verify the following domain”

Hello,I have always been a big fan of your platform, especially because it was one of the few that had not given in to the model of charging subscriptions for standard use. However, it is now no longer possible to create more than three FigJam files, which seems to me like the beginning of changes that may gradually reduce features that were previously free.I have always recommended Figma and would not like to stop. Please do not follow this trend, as this was exactly what set you apart from others.I am Brazilian and used a translator to write this message.

Hi, I have this issue in Figma Make. If I comment in one page and switch to another page, the comments still appear in all pages whenever the page is opened.

Hello,I want to downgrade seats to our annual subscription due to the non usage. I opened ticket #2145509 more than 48 hours back and there is no response.  For my account, I do not see any options to change seats. My renewal is coming up on Sept 26th and I would like my account seats get downgraded before that. ThanksKalyan

Hi Figma team, Since images in comments launched, teams have used them heavily for visual references and bug reports. There's still no way for plugins or integrations to read or write those images. What we found:- GET /v1/files/:key/comments returns only the text of a comment that has an image. There's no attachment field, including with as_md.- POST /v1/files/:key/comments accepts only message, comment_id and client_meta, so there's no way to attach an image.- The REST API spec (figma/rest-api-spec), FILE_COMMENT webhooks and the Plugin API don't include comment attachments either.- Comment images don't show up in GET /v1/files/:key/images. Why it matters: anyone who moves, archives, exports or syncs comments (to Jira, Linear, Notion, or between files when a design is reorganised) loses every image. Users see comments arrive without the screenshots that gave them meaning. What would help:1. An attachments array on the Comment object, with { id, url, mime_type, width, height }. The URL

Organization would be immensely helpful if we could create folders for our drafts. I want to be able to organize my drafts into different categories (such as UI kits, Ideas, Wireframe kits, iOS, Android, etc…) so I can find files easily. Right now, the drafts page is a huge jumbled mess and I can’t create Team pages for everything. Maybe something as simple as being able to add ‘tags’ to each file, similar to Zeplin.

There is a bug when you select a block of text and delete it. It takes the lenght of the block and apply it to new text. It is a very erratic behaviour. You can easily test it on your own in a text box.

I’ve had this recurring issue for a long period of time across many versions of Figma. I initially put it down to typing errors, but I ended up with the errors so often that I started paying careful attention. When I input a value for a variant property, the final letter periodically drops off, creating naming errors.

When I was trying to make a placeholder layer, I noticed that the text bounding box was behaving weirdly when I used symbols (like `()`, `{}`, `[]`) at the start and end of the text layer, and when I had left or right alignment applied. As you can see below, the text bounds end before one of the symbols.

My Figma Community file is intended to be completely free, but the published Community page is still showing a Buy button. The file previously contained a Gumroad link, but I have already removed the Gumroad link and all references to paid or purchasable content. I also made sure that the file no longer contains any paid resources or purchase-related elements and published the updated version to Community. However, the Buy button is still appearing on the Community page. There is also no pricing or “Sell this resource on Community” setting available on my end that I can disable.Could you please check whether the file is still marked internally as a paid or third-party purchase resource and remove the Buy button so the file appears as a free Community resource?

I have turned on 2-factor authentication on an education account, and it still blocks me from publishing a plugin. I don’t know what the issue is. Please help me resolve.

Hi, is the rollout for the feature option + tab to fast toggle between mode complete? Miggi posted this on X. Doesn’t work for me.

I am experiencing the same problem as in When using the Figma API to export SVGs after adding or deleting an icon in a file, some SVGs exhibit subtle differences. Specifically, some path data shifts by 0.01, or the paths change between relative and absolute coordinates.Because I use this API to export thousands of icons directly into Pull Requests (PRs), these minor variations create a lot of visual noise in code reviews. Is there a known solution or a recommended workaround from the Figma team to prevent this?

I ran into some weird behavior around Figma Motion during plugin development.Having the Motion timeline open in Figma, with any layer containing animations selected, causes that layer’s entire tree to get a hidden duplicate with a new ID. The duplicate tree only shows up in currentPage.children, not in Layers list in Figma’s UI.Also, if the duplicated layer contains any component sets, calling getMainComponentAsync on an instance node will return a new duplicate component that’s neither part of the original or the duplicated tree. The component in both the original and duplicated tree share the component’s original ID, but the one returned by getMainComponentAsync has a new different ID.Repro steps:Create a new Design document with some frame layers Use a plugin to check currentPage.children to verify that the root layers match between Layers list and what’s returned by the API Add animations to any layers, open timeline, and make sure you have a layer containing animations selected Ch

I noticed that the custom font files on my published Figma Sites are no longer working as of this past week. My custom fonts were literally loading on Monday of this week and now my site is all default web fonts. Upon chatting with Figma AI Support, it said “Figma Sites does not currently support custom fonts, and published Sites support Google Fonts only.”Is this true? Is anyone else having this issue? Did Figma announce this change anywhere?Note: Figma Sites is giving me zero errors with my font files, the CSS simply isn’t reading them anymore. I’ve deleted and re-uploaded several times.

Hello,I’m having an issue with my Figma Education plan.SheerID confirms that I have already been approved for the Education offer, but my Figma account is still on the Starter plan. When I try to upgrade my team, Figma only offers me the paid Professional plan at €20/month. I do not see any option to convert my team to an Education team.I have already:completed the SheerID verification several times, contacted SheerID three times over the past week, contacted Figma Support as well, but I have not received any response.SheerID now consistently displays the message:“Looks like you’ve already been approved for this offer.”So the issue seems to be that my approved Education status has not been correctly linked to my Figma account or team.Could someone please check this and help me activate the Education plan on my account?Thank you for your help.

Feedback 1: since Figma Desktop App version 126.1.2 text styles picker always shows libraries of styles in collapsed state. It’s super annoying, since search doesn’t work until you un-collapse it.Feedback 2: please fix up/down arrow behavior on styles. Example: the text span has style “Body/Emphasized” → I press arrow up expecting it to switch to “Body/Emphasized” → instead Figma selects “Headline/Regular” (the style that just happened to be below the search box). I papercut myself on this multiple times every day for the past couple of months now, at least.Figma’s a great product, I love it, but bugs like these are a big let down for me. I believe basic features like text styles should be dogfooded more to remain best in class.

Hello Figma Support Team,I am writing to request assistance with my Figma Education plan verification.Previously, my personal account was on the Education plan. As it was expiring, I attempted to re-verify my student status. However, I accidentally logged in and completed the verification on my student email account directly, rather than renewing it on my personal account. As a result, my student email account is now verified for the Education plan, but I need the plan to remain on my original personal account where all my design files and portfolios are located.Could you please help me cancel the verified status on my student email account so that I can correctly verify and apply the Education plan to my personal account? Here are my account details:- Personal Account (where I want the Edu plan): [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]- Student Account (accidentally verified): [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]Thank you for your time and assistance!Best regards,Rahmad Dwi F

There was a Slack message in our dev channel at 9am saying our new dark mode was literally unreadable.I checked the staging build and saw #FFFFFF text sitting directly on top of #F8FAFC. The front-end team had accidentally mapped the wrong CSS variable to our surface token during the handoff. We spent two hours tracking down a tiny typo in globals.css instead of actually doing our jobs.I am Alexander and I got so fed up with this that I built a plugin to fix it. It exports Figma variables directly into GitHub pull requests automatically. Now our token updates happen with a single click. We have not had a single contrast failure in staging for four months because the code always matches the design perfectly. You can try Design System Sync here:https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1561389071519901700?utm_source=figma-forum&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=bothttps://ds-sync.netlify.app?utm_source=figma-forum&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=botHow do you guys catch token mapping

Hi, and apologies for posting a new question – it may well have been asked before. To be honest, I can’t be bothered to look it up. Besides, the more questions on a single topic, the better the chances of success.I’m not really sure how or what to write here, so I’ll just set out my ideas and suggestions – things I keep coming back to whilst working in Figma. Feature request: Linked Component StatesIt would be useful to have a simple way to link the states of different component instances.Currently, if several components need to react to the same interaction, this can require variables, multiple actions, conditions, or additional prototype logic.I would like to be able to connect one component instance to another and define how the second component should react when the state of the first one changes. For example:DropdownDefault → Opencould automatically trigger:BackdropHidden → Visibleand:HeaderDefault → Dropdown ActiveThe relationship could work as a simple dependency:When Component A

Auto Layout handles resizing well, but sometimes resizing is not enough — the component itself needs to change. For example: Width > 1200px → Desktop Navigation Width 768–1200px → Tablet Navigation Width < 768px → Mobile Navigation Ideally, we could define breakpoint rules d

I’m trying to publish a Figma plugin using my account.During the publishing process, Figma asked me to enable two-factor authentication. I have already enabled 2FA, logged out, logged back into the Figma desktop app, and completed the 2FA verification successfully. However, the plugin publishing page still shows this message:“We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed.”I emailed support@figma.com, but received an automatic reply saying Starter and Education accounts should post in the Support Forum.Could a Figma Support Specialist please help verify my account and unblock plugin publishing?
