Last character drops off when entering variant property values

I’ve had this recurring issue for a long period of time across many versions of Figma. I initially put it down to typing errors, but I ended up with the errors so often that I started paying careful attention.

When I input a value for a variant property, the final letter periodically drops off, creating naming errors.
