Unable to publish plugin after enabling 2FA on Education account

I’m trying to publish a Figma plugin using my account.

During the publishing process, Figma asked me to enable two-factor authentication. I have already enabled 2FA, logged out, logged back into the Figma desktop app, and completed the 2FA verification successfully.

However, the plugin publishing page still shows this message:

“We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed.”

I emailed support@figma.com, but received an automatic reply saying Starter and Education accounts should post in the Support Forum.

Could a Figma Support Specialist please help verify my account and unblock plugin publishing?

Hey @chendedezzz 👋 I’m sorry to hear you hit a blocker after taking that step. That's definitely frustrating. I found your open support ticket (ID 1879818) and I've flagged it for our team to prioritize.

Keep an eye on your email for a follow-up from support; they'll have the best tools to dig into the technical side of this for you. Please don’t hesitate to tag me here if you need any further help. Talk soon! — Jaycee

Hi Jaycee, thanks for flagging the ticket.

I wanted to follow up because it has been a few days, but I still haven’t received any email update from support.

Could you please help check whether ticket ID 1879818 is still being reviewed, or if there is anything else I need to provide?

I’m still blocked from publishing my plugin and the publishing page continues to show:

“We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed.”

Thank you.

Hey, @chendedezzz I’m working on this today for us. Once I have a new support ticket created for you, I’ll add the ticket ID here so you have it. This will let me include all your details including the context of how we ended up here in the first place. — Jaycee
