Not just for those who are studying or have a solo design system, figma pricing is aredy to high to not have features to another planos

Haven ChandigarhHi,I’m Rehan, a 17-year-old student from Chandigarh, India, and I’m organizing Haven Chandigarh, a 24-hour, teen-only hackathon and game jam taking place on November 14–15.We’re bringing together around 100 high-school students for 24 hours of building, creating, learning, and making games with friends.Haven is part of Hack Club, a global nonprofit community for teenagers who code and build. Hack Club supports teens aged 13–18 and has a community spanning more than 100 countries. It is supported by organizations including GitHub, AMD, Dell Technologies.Hackathons have given me some of my best memories, friends, and opportunities. After experiencing that myself, I wanted to create that same opportunity for other students in Chandigarh. That's why I'd love to have Figma involved in Haven. We can host workshop on how to use figma and what is it and ask everyone to present and design their game presentation in Figma and give a best designer award tooWe're looking for partner

I am using Figma from almost 2 years. It’s a great tool. Previously I was using Windows 10 yet recently switched to Linux(Ubuntu). Figma doesn’t have any official release for Linux. There are some Unofficial desktop versions but they are “BUGGY”. I request you guys to release an official Figma desktop app for Linux.

Recently Figma has stopped remembering the last location I exported to. So I need to renavigate every time I export something. Please restore. Thanks!

Hello Figma Support, I accidentally selected the annual billing plan instead of the monthly plan just 20 minutes ago while updating my subscription. This was an unintended selection, and I meant to stay on the monthly cycle. I have not used any paid team features since the upgrade. Could you please help me revert my account to the monthly plan and refund the difference? Thank you! [Invoice attachment removed by moderator - 2026/10/03]

Unified Variable Mode Switching Across LibrariesWhen multiple published libraries contain variable collections with identical collection names and identical mode names (for example: collection “Theme”, modes “Light” and “Dark”), Figma currently shows a separate mode switch for each library. It would be much more efficient if Figma detected matching collection and mode names and presented a single switch to the user. Changing the mode would automatically update all matching libraries at once. This would greatly simplify multi-library design system setups where core tokens, and product-specific tokens are split into separate libraries (and different design teams) but share the same theming structure.

Hi everyone 👋My brother Mazen Awaideh and I built Structify, a Figma plugin for designers who are tired of jumping between Jira and Figma: opening tickets, reading, designing, then going back to comment and update. What it does:- Connects to Jira and GitLab and loads your tickets inside Figma- Lets you set industry, device and company context- Generates a structured design workspace from each ticket: core flow, touchpoints, edge cases, error/empty/loading states, security, accessibility, plus a screen checklist- Submits your work back to the ticket- Saves everything in History, so you can revisit any ticket or reuse a structure on a new oneIt's free. You bring your own AI API key, so there are no usage limits from our side.To test it, we created an imaginary Arabic-first home-services app in Jira with 15 tickets, from fully specified stories to one that just says "search needs to be better", like real tickets do.🎥 1-min walkthrough: https://youtu.be/PN85rZUh6vQ🔗 Plugin: https://www.f

Hi Figma Support,I’m trying to recreate Figma’s new Glass effect in CSS for a website.Could you please share what CSS properties/values the Glass effect uses or the closest CSS equivalent? For example, whether it uses backdrop-filter, blur, saturation, transparency, borders, highlights, shadows, distortion, etc.I’d like to match the Figma Glass effect as closely as possible in the browser. Thanks!

We design type, and we proof a lot of it in Figma. So we built the two tools we kept wishing we had.Font RefreshYou fix a curve, export a new version, switch back to Figma… and nothing has changed. Figma only redraws a text layer when you edit it. Font Refresh redraws every text layer in the file, on the page or in your selection, in one click. Your text, styles and layout stay untouched. Specimen MakerPick a family, choose three colours, and get a complete A5 specimen booklet, print-ready with bleed. Inside: cover, character set, every glyph in its own square, all styles with full alphabets, pangrams in eight languages, a size waterfall, headlines and running text. Every page is a normal Figma frame, so you can edit all of it. Made for type designers, by type designers.

Hi Figma team,I’m posting here because I’m really hoping someone from the Figma team can help me with an unexpected annual renewal.Today, I was charged $433.92 USD for the annual renewal of a Figma Professional workspace. This workspace belonged to a work team that stopped actively using Figma around Aug 2026. When the team stopped using the workspace, I unfortunately forgot to downgrade the plan and check the billing status. Since we were no longer using it, I also completely forgot that the annual subscription was still active and set to renew.I only realized this today when I saw the $433.92 charge.I understand that it was my responsibility to downgrade the workspace earlier, and I’m not blaming Figma for the renewal. It was genuinely an oversight on my side. However, $433.92 is a significant and unexpected expense for me, especially for a workspace that our team is no longer using. We have no intention of using the Professional plan for this new annual billing period. The renewal was

Hello Figma Support Team,I hope you’re doing well.I’m writing to request a refund for an additional seat charge on my recent subscription bill. I intended to pay for only one full seat for myself.I invited another person solely to view the shared files and resources, but it appears they were assigned a full paid seat unintentionally.Could you please review the charge and let me know whether the additional seat can be changed to view-only access and the charge refunded?Thank you for your help. Many thanks,Ejae

Is it possible to obtain a free subscription to the Professional package for non-profit organizations, and what evidence is required for this? Thank you for your response!

Hi everyone, does anyone know how Figma handles AI-content provenance when generating and exporting images? For example, Nano Banana uses SynthID, while other models may use C2PA metadata or Content Credentials. However, I can’t find any Figma documentation explaining:Whether these provenance signals are preserved when an image is exported from Figma, Whether Figma adds its own machine-readable marking, Which standard Figma uses to comply with Article 50(2) of the EU AI ActHas Figma published anything about this, or has anyone tested exports from the different models available in Figma? I couldn't find anything so far?

I can’t resize objects without it getting in the way every timeI can’t close the prompt modal- it sits over my designs and I can’t even move it out of the way.

Text flows around images and shapes. Icons and components sit inside the line. Reset brings the original text back. Free: 5 texts a day.https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1687782073408546359

Hello ! Everything is in the title 🙂 I really do think that Figma should work on a functionality that would allow designer to insert icons/images/etc into text content while keeping the responsive aspect of our design. Waiting for that update so bad, but if anyone has a hack to do it, I am aware! I already tried using auto layout but I had to split my text and it is painful when I want to make changes… Most of Adobe softs know how to do it. Ask them to share their knowledge, haha! Please Figma, read me. Hear me. Do it. ^^ Thanks!

I have hacked my way to do this Drop Cap on Figma but I think it’ll be a good feature to consider under the typography property.

I wish that the badge was able to trail behind the text and wrap to the next line, as if it’s part of the text. Right now, the only way I can make this happen and still be responsive is to give each word its own textbox and let the container with the words & badge wrap, but that surrenders my ability to use ellipsis.

I have a component for form options that on some occasions needs a tooltip. The problem is that if you set the text layer to Hug, the text will not wrap for narrow content areas. And if set to Fill, it pushes the icon component. I really just want it to function like html <p> My text label <span>[icon]<span></p>Because of this issue, designers need to detach the core component just to add a tooltip (and the they use the incorrect icon size and style). Or they are just slapping the icon and moving it over the component just so it ‘looks’ like its at the end of the paragraph. This is frustrating me to no end. Figma is supposed to be a tool to create web interfaces, yet the most basic of web features, inline-block text isn’t possible to accomplish. Is there a hack?

Would be nice to have the ability to insert a UI component that sticks to the end of multi-line text similar to how the ::after function works in html. usage for this in my field is a “caret” (>) or external link symbol following link text. would be helpful for “buttons” as well.

QOL feature request.I will never want AI in my workflow and it’s just kept being marketed to me which takes me out of the flow. It also gets very tedious to block these features one by one with a browser extension. It would be a very useful and friendly feature to make Figma account fully AI-free with a single toggle. I’d make it up to my team members if they want to use AI, so I wouldn’t make this a team/org level setting.

This makes it easier to use components in designs for different screen sizes. And then you don’t have to calculate every time what 40% or 60% of the width is. This also makes it easier to design scalable applications that grow with the width of the screen.

Hi Figma Community Support / Research team,This follows up on my earlier topic about a missing research incentive. Celine kindly checked internally and confirmed that I completed a Figma research survey on September 18 and that the research team sent the incentive a few days later through BHN Rybbon.I've searched my inbox, spam, promotions, and All Mail for "BHN," "Rybbon," and "reward," and I haven't found any email from them. It looks like the reward email either never arrived or was blocked somewhere along the way.Could the research team please:Check with Rybbon whether the reward was delivered or bounced, and Resend the reward, or share the redeem link with me directly?Celine already has the email address linked to my Figma account, so it's the same one used for the survey invite. Thanks a lot for your help!

Now that Figma has local variables and modes, is there a way that a component instance variant can changed based on mode? Basically, I have it set up so that when I define my main frame as ‘desktop’ mode, the margins are 32, and when ‘mobile’ mode is chosen they are 16 which is great. However I also have a nav bar, which is very different between desktop and mobile. Previously, i’d create two component variants, (desktop and mobile, but this means I have to change it on every screen manually. Ideally I’d like variants to swap out based on mode (or even frame width)

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone from Figma or someone who has experienced this can help me resolve a long-running Education verification issue with my BCIT email (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@bcit.ca).This originally happened in September 2025.I successfully completed the education verification process through SheerID. SheerID later confirmed in writing that my verification was approved on September 9, 2025.The problem is that on September 29th, 20 days after I had successfully verified, Figma asked me to verify again because of changes to its verification requirements. When I followed Figma's instructions and attempted to verify again, SheerID gave me a Verification Limit Exceeded error.I contacted SheerID support. They investigated and told me:My verification had already been successfully approved. My verified email was xxxxxxxxxxxx@bcit.ca. My verification date was September 9, 2025. Figma only allowed one approval every 335 days. There was therefore nothing further SheerID could do. I needed to
