Figma stopped remembering my export location

Recently Figma has stopped remembering the last location I exported to. So I need to renavigate every time I export something. Please restore. Thanks!

Thanks for your post, @Brian_Olson. Having to navigate back to the same folder for every export sounds frustrating.

Are you exporting from Figma in a browser or from the desktop app? If it’s the desktop app, could you also share your operating system and where the save window opens each time (assuming that it defaults to the same location)? If you’re using a browser, which browser is it? With a bit more info I can check with the team to see what might be happening. Thanks!

You are correct, it opens to the same location each time: Downloads

Ok, thanks for the additional info. Before I take this to the team, can you confirm that you’re running the newest version of the desktop app, and then verify the issue is still present there? To update the app:

Click the down arrow icon menu at the top right of the app window.
Select Check for Updates and follow any update prompt.
