Hi! I just started using Figma and today I lost my cat jumping after the cursor. He was here just five days ago and now he's gone. Maybe I accidentally pressed some hotkeys and that's why he disappeared... Please help me find him😭😭😭
Hi, I created an interactive component that worked fine until one week ago (more or less). Now, when you hover on it the font changes and shows the message “Some missing fonts were replaced”
https://www.raycast.com/core-features/ai I am trying to recreate a specific UI effect I saw in a design (see attached image). I'm particularly interested in achieving the following: Subtle Edge Fade: The icons near the left and right edges of the dock/bar fade out smoothly. How can this be achieved using gradient masks or other techniques in Figma? Icon Style: The icons have a distinct appearance: a combination of neumorphism, transparency, subtle shading, and a glow effect. What are the best approaches to replicate this style in Figma? I'm looking for step-by-step guidance, best practices, and any helpful plugins or resources that could assist in recreating these effects accurately. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hey there, I’m looking for help setting up the UI for a Figma plugin. I am using a non-null origin, and testing the code using “https://www.google.com” figma.showUI( `<script> window.location.href = "https://www.google.com"; console.log(window.origin); //null </script>`, { height: 600, width: 400 }); I’ve included google in the manifest as an allowed domain. "networkAccess": { "allowedDomains": ["https://www.google.com", "https://*.google.com" ], "reasoning" : "For testing purposes", "devAllowedDomains": [ "https://wwww.google.com", "https://*.google.com" ] } All I see in the plugin window is a white box. The console isn’t throwing any syntax or permission errors. Does anyone have a suggested fix? Is there something “basic” that I’m missing? (like, not testing showUI with google) Thank you for your time.
If you open a lot of projects the tab strip gets crowded. Chromium browsers solved this by allowing to group tabs, maybe Figma could do the same ?
In an internal Plugin I want to upload svgs from Figma to Github. With Github.com that works fine, however, to make it work with our Github Enterprise account I have trouble. To check if the plugin can even connect to GitHub Enterprise, I use this reduced code: However, I get the error notification “Failed to connect to GitHub Enterprise API”. Our GitHub enterprise is internal, accessible behind a VPN. I am running FIGMA with the plugin code from within the VPN, but I am thinking that this call I do might still come “from outside” and therefore cannot access the internally GitHub Enterprise?
Unable to load anything inside Figma. All images in dashboard (project thumbnails) and images inside projects are not loading at all. Some plugins like Unsplash are not working as well. Unable to export screens as PDFs as well. Tried clearing cache, using a different PC, a different browser, a different network, to no avail. Just noticed, in the console in Figma, I'm getting a "ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED". I'm not using any VPN and have tried connecting to a different network to no avail.
I just updated Figma today, and for some reason. in some frames that I work in I cant Drag select the objects anymore. None of them are locked and I can still click select them one by one.in other frames I can sometimes still drag select. If I rebuild the ‘broke frame’ in a new frame it becomes broken aswell. here is a video of the issue *Edit*There is a Huge Section just above these frames, when I zoom out more, I can select again. when the frame is too close to the section and zoomed in very close. issue happens again When moving the Fram further away from the frame everything works again
Hello thereSo I am trying to build a test app just to hone my skillsAnd one of the parts I want to implement is something where when I click one of the tick boxes Cafes with that drink will pop upand when I click MULTIPLE boxes, Cafes with ever one of those drinks will pop up For example Cappuccino Tickbox Espresso Tickbox Matcha Tickbox When the Cappuccino box is ticked- cafes that serve Cappuccino’s will pop up When the espresso tickbox is ticked, cafes that serve Espresso will pop up Same with Matcha NOW when I click MULTIPLE tickboxes (Matcha and Espresso) only cafes that serve BOTH Matcha and Espresso will pop up How will this be done please because I assume you use variables I just have no idea how I would apply them and how i would use multiple variants of the cafes P.S If someone could make a demo of this it would be extremely helpful THANK YOU https://www.figma.com/design/HsvtuUl8cAwQn0208bjn2t/CAFE-APP--Copy-?node-id=0-1&t=eiJpi1vP8c5NDHV7-1 Link to the figma file
I’m working on a pixel font with a upm of 8100, so if I put the type size at 81 it should align perfectly with Figma’s pixel grid. This worked for all my other fonts, but starting from 6500 upm there is a small misalignment on the pixel grid that increases with each letter. So the first letter aligns correctly, the second has a small difference and the third even more. A pixel font with upm 6400 and set at size 64px aligns correctly on the grid, but a font with upm 6500 set at 65px doesn’t. The font’s pixels align correctly on other applications, so is this a bug in Figma? Close-up of the space between two A’s. The first A is aligned correctly, but the second A is not completely on the grid, it is slightly moved to the left.
My figma file would automatically delete some content from my design draft, resulting in a large area of content being lost. Even after I retrieved it from the historical files, the content would still continue to be lost. I felt very panicked
