I want to make a prototype where something changes when user scrolls content.
I want to keyboard collapse when user starts scrolling content, but it’s impossible to do with drag action. Or it feels unnatural
Or am I missing a way to do it with existing tools?
Reposting a prior link - this worked for me. Quite hacky, though. Trick to Show/Hide Header on Scroll in Figma - YouTube
2 posts were split to a new topic: Allow sticky scrolling with Auto Layout
+1 please on scroll interactions 🙏 🙏
Dear Figma!
It would be great if you will implement “While scroll” animation interaction as it is in Webflow.
This function can make design more interesting.
+1 very essential for prototyping modern sites/apps
Agreed 100%
Yes, this is a very important feature that we need.
It would be great if you could have a ‘on scroll down’ or ‘on scroll up’ interaction as part of the prototyping. For example, if you’re half way down a long page, you can scroll up and animate in the header. Scrolling down would then reverse the action and remove the header.
Thanks for the redirect @tank666
So, has it been added by Figma already? Because I’m finding myself in a situation where I need it, and it seems a few other people need it too 🙂
+1 really crazy this hasn’t been implemented yet…
It’s a huge setback / letdown for web design that this isn’t already a feature. So much could be made with an “On Scroll” Prototype.
In my case, I need to be able to animate elements that scroll in from the side when you scroll down the page.
+1 need this asap 🥲
+1 This would be so usefull.
❤️
It would save lot of explanation to the devs if we could create a scroll interaction
I can’t believe it’s been more than 2 years and something as essential as this hasn’t been implemented yet ):
+1 @Figma_Support please add this feature as fast as possible when so many want and need this feature!
Looking forward to see this feature implemented 😃
I feel a generic “on scroll” wouldn’t be enough, we need to control when to show things at certain scroll points in the page (enter the viewport, exit the viewport etc)
It’s hard to understand how this feature is still missing in July 2023. They just added a variable but onScroll… Weird sense of priorities.
Back to Protopie, cya.
Been looking at the new possibilities of conditional logic and variables but it looks like it’s still not possible to create a component that changes variant when it becomes sticky at a certain scroll position.
Would love a solution for this.
GOLD!!! Thank you for the hack!
Definitely needed!
Pleaaaseeeeee!!! Thank you.
