Hello! I am a community advocate for FOF, Sofia for Bulgaria and we experience difficulties when we want to use Bulgarian Cyrillic in several fonts with the “Stylistic sets” feature, but Bulgarian Cyrillic just doesn’t work. When I try the same in Adobe Illustrator for example - there are no problems. The only solution we’re able to find is to change the font’s core defaults to this type of Cyrillic, otherwise, it is impossible to use the stylistic set in Figma. Best Regards, Daniel Dungyov
Copy properties does not work as it did beforeBefore if i copied properties from one auto layout to another it copied everything, but if i paste properties onto a square or any other shape and then copied properties of that square - all info about the paddings would have been erased. It was easier this way to just copy the fill color, stroke and corner radius styles to a different looking auto layoutNow even if you copy properties from a shape it still keeps the paddings and gap size
When opening the Text styles panel, it should automatically scroll to the currently applied text style instead of starting at the top of the list. When you have a large list of styles it becomes really difficult to swap between different styles in the same category, such as switch between display styles or body styles
While using Claude.ai with the Figma connector Claude told me it wasn't able to programmatically insert the contents into the slot inside a component “because Figma protects slot nodes from plugin writes”. If this limitation is intentional, why? It serious limits the usefulness of the connector. Please allow the connector to write to slot nodes.
Whose idea was it to put the little icon for the new AI agent so close to the upper right corner of an object? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to adjust the size of an object and accidentally opened the agent. Each instance doesn’t take that much time, but when you do it countless times a day, it makes work that normally feels fluid feel disjointed. If I want to open the agent, the option in the left nav panel is super easy to access. I don’t need the agent connected to every object I touch. I’d like to see the user research (or lack thereof) that made team Figma think this was a good idea. You’re assuming the agent is so helpful and so needed that people need it right there. That’s confirmation bias at it’s finest. Please take this away or at least move it!
Figma has been an essential tool for my daily work as a solo UI/UX designer. However, the recent bundling of AI Credits into the Professional plan has significantly increased the subscription cost, even for users who never use AI features.Previously, I was paying around USD 20/month for the Professional plan. After the Config 2026 changes, the cost increased to approximately USD 55/month because AI Credits are now included by default. There is currently no option to disable AI Credits or choose a lower-cost Professional plan without them. This creates a real problem for independent designers, freelancers, and small businesses. We subscribe to the Professional plan because we need features like:Unlimited design files Components and Libraries Variables Advanced prototyping Version history Team collaborationThese are the reasons we pay for Professional—not necessarily for AI.Forcing every Professional user to pay for AI, regardless of whether they use it, feels unfair. Many of us already r
The Publish Library action feels really hidden, and its location doesn't make much sense in a design system file. Why not make it a global action, similar to the Share button? When you're working on the design system figma file, publishing the library is one of the primary actions.Right now the flow is:Assets → Library icon → Publish → Wait...It feels unnecessarily buried. Let's make our lives easier.
Hello Figma Team,I've been a long time Figma user and have relied on it extensively for website design. Unfortunately, over the past year I've found the overall experience becoming increasingly frustrating. Many workflows that were once fast and intuitive now require significantly more effort, and it feels like the focus has shifted away from the needs of production designers. Some of the issues I've encountered include:Copying a layer from one frame to another no longer pastes it in the same relative position. This used to be a huge time saver when working across multiple artboards. Selecting layers has become much more difficult, especially within nested Auto Layouts. I often find myself drilling through multiple layers just to select the object I want. Auto Layout has become overly complex. Small changes frequently produce unexpected results, making simple edits unnecessarily time consuming. Changing layouts, such as moving from a four column grid to a three column grid, often stretc
Figma Motion is an amazing addition, and the API support is quite impressive considering it's still in beta. In particular, the ability to add keyframes manually is a great feature. However, I was disappointed to find that there's currently no way to add a keyframe at the current playhead position. This significantly limits the usefulness of manual keyframing workflows. It would be extremely helpful if you could either expose the current playhead position through the API or provide an option to insert a keyframe directly at the current playhead position.Additionally, "Rotate at Origin" is an essential part of Figma Motion's functionality, but as a plugin developer, I cannot support it in my plugin because this information is not exposed through the API.Please consider adding support for both of these features, as they are very important for plugin developers and would greatly improve the capabilities of the Figma Motion ecosystem.
Hi everyone,First off — Figma AI (Agent) has been an incredible addition to our workflow. Really impressed with how well it understands and interacts with design systems. Huge kudos to the team behind it!I've read through the article https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/38978644498199-AI-workflows-collection-Best-practices-to-help-Figma-AI-understand-your-design-system#h_01KKFV30GE7M7PH1YPBCNXG07W , and while it provides great foundational guidance, I'm finding it hard to translate those principles into a concrete restructuring plan for our own design system. The "what" is clear, but the "how it should actually look in practice" is still a bit ambiguous. We'd love to restructure our design system to fully align with Figma AI best practices, but we're missing a tangible reference to work from. So my question is twofold:Could Figma publish an official example design system file that demonstrates these best practices end-to-end? Something the community could open, inspect, and use as a
AI tools like Figma AI are definitely changing the way designers work. It'll be interesting to see how this improves productivity and creative workflows over time. I recently came across a helpful resource about modern game UI design that explains some similar concepts. Great update!
Hi! I’ve been testing figma motion and I noticed the preview is always at 60fps or more, not really sure, but there is no way to change the preview to something else, I would need to be exporting the video at 30fps or 24fps everytime I want to check on animation timing. Any way to change that or is it something for an upcoming update?
I discover a functionality in Figma that help me to create animation. It is MOTION, an essential tool that is necessary and useful when you want to create something quickly. However, when I export a creation, the quality is poor as static and when is animated it sends me to a presentation web page, where I can see my design. I want to downloading the animation on my desktop and the quality to be clear. I am delight to know that this problem is taken in account and I am looking forward to this update to be implemented.
I tried to make a grid with outline rectangles, I have make sure the position of the outline has been set to center, yet the result after I grouped or make them auto layout, the line doesn't well aligned instead it's curving. How to solve this issue?
I’m encountering an issue in Figma Motion.I want to animate a rectangle to grow from its centre (expand equally left and right). However, when I animate the ‘Width’ property, the rectangle always appears to grow from left to right, as if the transform origin is fixed to the left edge. The rectangle is constrained to centre/centre (in the design tab), and there are no auto-layouts applied to the parent frame. Not sure if it’s me or the product? Feels like a pretty basic feature to be missing!Edit: It seems like the origin is set to centre if you manually drag to resize while holding the ⌥ key... not ideal
I wanted to provide some feedback on both the app and my Config experience.1. Feedback in the appI was surprised there wasn't an easy way to submit feedback directly from the app. A dedicated feedback button or form would have been helpful, especially when issues occurred during the event.2. Maker Stage event registrationI assumed Maker Stage events would reserve spots based on registration, similar to other sessions. I only discovered later that they were first come, first served. This made me question the purpose of signing up in the first place. If registration doesn't guarantee a seat, I think that should be communicated much more clearly during signup and in the event details.3. Problems accessing online event linksUnfortunately, I missed two events because I couldn't get the "View Event Online" link to work in the app. When I tried accessing it from my laptop using my hotspot, my login credentials were not accepted. I had also experienced login issues before Config and had to res
We work on large display but Figma UI doesn’t adjust and shows minuscule panels for Text Styles, Library, Font lists, etc…. See related post below:
AI Balance should be displayed in the User Menu, instead of the Figma File Menu. It’s an account-associated info, so it should be displayed there.
It’d be useful to be able to rename plugins. Right now it seems that you can only alter the name at the point of creation - the AI can rebuild it but will lose all existing chat/history.
Changing the Variables panel to be a tab along the side that takes over the view instead of a panel I can move around has impacted by design flow. I would often have the variables panel open side-by-side to my designs so I can view/add/update variables and build design simultaneously. Now I have to flip back and forth causing frustration and slower process.
Hey folks, Just wanted to share some feedback I had about the new Figma Agent feature when it comes to generating plugins and shaders. I was prompting this morning to create a new shader fill, and initially the agent refused my request to support a dropdown in the shader config because it said it didn’t exist. I checked the docs, found where it is supported, and sent a screenshot to the agent, after which it corrected course. Seems like something it should have understood out-of-the-box. Also, it claims it can’t add handles or overlays to its shader fills, such as how the Mesh Gradient fill gives you handles to configure the colors. Not sure if this is true or not, but if so seems like it would be a nice thing to support for shaders made by users and not just official Figma shaders.
I’m a UX designer using an Enterprise Full Seat licence, and I’m very frustrated that my AI credits run out too quickly. When I’m actively working on a project, I suddenly can’t continue because the credits are depleted, and then I have to wait for several weeks for a refill. For a delivery-focused design workflow, this is extremely disruptive. It’s also odd that admins cannot reallocate AI credits from other full-seat members who are not using them. And we can only upgrade tokens at the full team level…, whaaaat? no targeted capacity for people that actually need it?This credit handling is not just annoying, it directly blocks work and causes delays. I’ve seen other designers reporting similar issues with unexpected credit drain and long downtime when credits hit zero. Please fix that...Providing enough AI credits to work without long interruptions. Allowing admins to transfer unused AI credits between members. Enabling more granular upgrades (at least per user), not only full-team upgr
Canvas become tight with the new Figma updates, if Figma can fix this issue for us please
This is more of a general comment, but I’m curious if anyone else has had the frustrating experience of clicking on “Publish to Community” when trying to copy a Dev Mode link to something. This seems like such a bad idea by Figma to put it there (under the Share button list). In what world is publishing my job’s design files (of which I’m bound by an NDA to NOT share) is more important than copying a link so a dev or stakeholder at my job can see an art board. Publishing to the Community should be separated and far form any work-related actions needed.
