Remove ads, offers, and promotions in paid accounts

Currently seeing an “offer” for an image to video conversion tool. For a paid subscription it’s especially egregious to see an ad that actively covers up my sidebar content. And on an Enterprise account.

If this is Figma’s direction moving forward, it’s shameful.

    Yep, it’s pretty funny, and pretty sad. We’re already paying a subscription to the Saas. This ad is taking up a third of my sidebar space and it has no obvious dismiss interaction.

    I hope the folks over at Weave paid Figma very well for this upsell.

     

    edit to add: y’all should really extend this “emails” setting to also cover “offers and promotions in the app” and then respect the user’s choice to avoid receiving promotional stuff while they’re just trying to do work.

    But of course, that would have significantly reduced the eyes on this AI offer, right? 😒
