I used the web version of FigJam yesterday, and my internet connection was stable. However, when I opened the FigJam file today, all the content I added yesterday was missing.I also checked the version history, but there were no records available.What should I do?

Background:I have a Primary file for wireframe and prototype and a Design file for components. In the design file, I have a component that contains a button variant and quantity pill variant.  The designed interact is as soon as you hover, the button changes to the quantity pill .  When you click on “+” the quantity increases and “-” the quantity decreases. (similar to Amazon). This works as expected in the design file.Issue:When I update each file, the interaction in the Primary file does not update.  (see image)  I’ve tried in browser and in Figma software (Windows).  All libraries are updated.  No beta options are turned on.  Libraries are enabled for all files.I have read that other people are having issues with their variants across different files, but haven’t found anyone with a similar issue.  Any ideas why this isn’t working?  Thank you in advance!

I’ve sent a copy of the project to my client. She has accepted it. But Ui kit with components doesn’t work. Components still linked to the original file. The project has several files inside, including the UI kit file.

I’m not able to copy the text with in comments in Figma Slides to paste elsewhere. Seems like a bug. Are any other folks having issues with this? 

I work in an agency context, which means that often I need to share a file with clients, I usually do that by changing the file access from “Anyone in my organisation can edit” to “Anyone can view”. However when I do that, members of my organisation loose edit access to that file.I can’t seem to find an efficient way to combine sharing view rights with guests and edit rights with members 🤔 Am I overlooking something? 

Hey,  I have premium designs files, but I can’t sell it in figma marketplace because they said Stripe is not available in india, but I sell on behance and other marketplace, in behance stripe is available india, also I have stripe accounts and I do stripe integrations as well, when I can sell my designs to figma marketplace??  

I tried to get used to UI3 once again, but keep running into workflows that used to exist and now don’t (or I can’t seem to find them). The one I ran into today, which I use daily is as follows: I am looking for a component made by another team, I’m subscribed to their library but I don’t remember the name of the component exactly. I press Shift+I to open the asset panel I select the library and browse for the component In UI3 the selection of a library is only available after I start typing. This implies that I know what the component is called…  Yes there is a workaround, go to assets panel, select the library there, browse for the component. But this slows me down as I prefer to keep my layers panel in layers mode. Switching back and forth kills the speediness of the previous workflow. 

Hi everyone,I'm trying to use the Styles to Variables  plugin in Figma on Windows (Desktop app). My file is already in a Team Project (Professional plan), and the plugin detects all my color styles correctly (e.g., 88 styles found). But when I click "Convert Styles into Variables", nothing happens — no variables are created, and there's no confirmation message either.I’ve tried: Restarting Figma Reloading the plugin Checking the Local Variables panel Ensuring my file is in a Team Project Running the latest version of the plugin (v9.0) Still no luck.Is this a known issue with the plugin or possibly a compatibility issue with recent Figma updates? I need help. Since yesterday the elements on my board are not showing up at all. I have updated my mac / update Figma / checked for virusre = NONE / made sure I have enough space on the system but have not been able to understand what is causing this. I know the info is there … visuals to follow … these are the elements on the board in keylinethis is what it looks like in normal mode.Anyone out there have any clue what what could be causing this as I am at my wits end?Am working on an imac M1 PRO / Sequoia 15.3.2Thanks for any help in advance

Component does not save state in autolayout. The team noticed the problem only with checkboxes, they didn't catch any other bugs in the layout. If corrected, the erroneous state is saved in prototype. After reloading the page in the layout, the last change is undone again.Video

Hii, i upgraded to a 1 developer seat today, it seems like no one in my team is now able to edit the existing pages, They can ask for edit permissions which will cost a full seat, while they were able to edit these pages before on a the free plan. Am i doing something wrong? This seems like a downgrade for everyone except the developers seat.

This might be because I have a potato laptop, but I’m having a problem with this because I’ve done everything to solve this issue (resizing my window, using the options in the prototype, etc.) but it’s still happens. Whenever I go to the prototype, it starts to flicker and switches to my desired size. However, I noticed that when I don’t have a component on the frame, it’s back to normal. Is there anything I can do that I haven’t done before that could help me?

Bug? 👿 In Figma Web (Chrome on macOS), when I use “Paste to replace”, the selected frame disappears, and only text from the copied frame is inserted — centered on canvas.If the copied frame has no text, nothing happens at all.macOS Sequoia 15.3.1, MacBook Air M2Same action works fine on Figma Desktop and in Chrome on Windows (even via Parallels).Anyone else run into this?

The new pop-up menus are annoying, poorly executed, and inconsistent.That whole team needs a Dieter detox.

Why do the available font weights in Figma not match Google fonts? For Poppins, ExtraLight shows a weight of 275 when queried in Dev mode, but this is not available in Google Fonts. 

There’s a thing where the ‘Go to main component’ buttom may be there and may not. It looks like this:At first it looked like view only users can go to main component if it’s in the same document and can’t if it’s in other document. But some people from dev and QA teams told me they can go to main component in other document while other people with same view only rights can’t. After some research I’ve discovered that this button appears for the user after accessing that other document with main component by direct link for the first time, even if document doesn’t have invite-only access. I understand concern that ‘Anyone with the link’  doesn’t mean free access, it is still require user to have a link to access the document but the UX of ‘Go to main component’ button is very frustrating. It could be simply grayed out with tooltip saying something like “You don’t have access to that document” or in this particular case, “Open this document with direct link in order to access its library”

Hey guys,I know there are lots of topics about this issue but none of them have solved my problem. It is very interesting because when I publish my variables from my Component Library, only ‘Primitives’ collection is accessible in other projects. And I see Tokens are hidden and Figma says these won’t be published. But I don’t know the reason. Because these Tokens are not selected as ‘Hide from publishing’  Can you guys help? Thanks!

Not using the native Windows 11 titlebar has consequences. For example, in the Windows world, when you don’t use the native titlebar, you lose access to the “Snap layout” options.For example, this is in Firefox:Snap layout FirefoxSeems unfair that macOS people have access to their OS’ window controls, but not Windows. 

Getting many attempts error, please fix this urgently.

Figma Admin Process The upgrade requests are not always displayed in recenct order and I can no longer tell if someone nudged a request. Before, a nudged request would be highlighted in a pale yellow. I havent seen that with the new UI yet.

I have noticed some new behaviour in the ‘all notifications’ menu on the homepage which I find pretty concerning. If there are unread comments, as soon as one hovers over the comment window it automatically marks it as read. Both in the notifications menu AND in the file. This has proven detrimental as when just checking in on a comment, it clears! Often I do not respond to notifications in the notification menu from the homepage, and instead prefer to return to the actual file when I am working on that project, to see the comment properly and respond while looking at all the file’s context nearby. Now when I enter the file the comment bubble is marked as read and so it’s missed! This is terrible UX especially if one is busy merely scrolling through their notifications and now they’re all being marked as read. At least provide the user to turn off this ‘hover-to-mark-as-read’ feature.See below example: After hovering over the first list item, it marks it as read. Just like that. Awful!
