I’ve been noticing an issue when using variables from the library in gradient mode on a shape.

Everything works fine when selecting the variable color to create the gradient. The problem happens when I try to change the position of the color stop in the linear gradient — it turns to default white.

This only happens when moving the color stops on top of the shape or just making click in the color. The variable color doesn’t change when adjusting the gradient from the gradient panel.

Also, when moving the stop on top of the shape, the color changes to white, but it still keeps the name of the variable. The same behavior happens when using radial, angular, and diamond gradients.

It seems like this only happens inside a Figma File.

Using variable color in gradients
Moving color stop on top of the shape, it changes to white, but not the name of the variable
Moving the color stop in the gradient panel “works fine”
Already moved the two colors on top of the shape.
