I can’t use Figma now since it disables WebGL for no reason. Here is a video of it happening:

WebGL works fine as long as I don’t open Figma. This means I can use other sites just fine, but as soon as I try to open a Figma file, it crashes and disables Web GL. This happens immediately in some files while in others it takes it a couple of minutes to crash. This is really annoying since I’ve got some designs for a game I was making which I can’t access anymore.

I tried with Edge too and I get the same results. Also I forgot to mention it but here are my computer specs in case it’s needed:

CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11700 @ 2.50GHz

RAM: 32gb

Disk: SSD INTEL SSDPEKNU010TZ

GPU 0: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 750

GPU 1: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060

OS: Windows 11

Does anyone know a fix? I’ve already tried fixes from other threads but none of them have worked. My drivers also seem to be fully updated. If anyone needs me to give more information just tell me

Hi @Joshisaurio, Thanks for reaching out! And thanks for trying to troubleshoot this.

I've watched the recording, and it looks like you're using Figma in Chrome.
If you haven't already, could you try enabling hardware acceleration in Chrome?

Here's how:

  1. Open Chrome and go to chrome://settings/
  2. In the "System" section, enable "Use graphics acceleration when available."

You can find more information and our recommended Chrome settings here: How do I configure my browser for Figma?

If the issue persists, please contact our support team directly here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001744374
To help our team investigate, please include the following information:

  • Your Figma account email address
  • Your graphics card information: Please open chrome://gpu in Chrome and save the page as "Webpage, Complete" format using Control+S on Windows (Command+S on macOS).
  • Your video recording
  • A console log capturing the issue

Thanks for your assistance!
