Hello designers and Figma experts,I’m facing a problem with using Hindi fonts in Figma. I’ve installed proper .ttf/.otf Hindi fonts on my system, and they work fine in other apps like MS Word and Photoshop. However, when I apply the same font in Figma: The text doesn’t update to the selected Hindi font. It often defaults to some basic font or doesn’t reflect the change at all. 🔧 Things I’ve already tried: Restarted Figma and my system. Tried different Hindi fonts. Checked if fonts are installed correctly. Using Figma desktop app (also tried browser version). ❓Has anyone faced the same issue? Is there any workaround or font recommendation that works well with Figma for Devanagari/Hindi?Thanks in advance 🙏— Mohammad Sufiyan Subhani

Dear Figma Team,While using Figma, due to the account team setting, after transferring the files to drafts, I accidentally deleted the entire team, and all important account files were lost. I have been unsuccessful in trying to create horizontal overflow scroll happen in figma sites. The dropdown to control the setting is visible but disabled so I’m not sure if that means it is currently being worked on.The marquee effect can help show the user the clipped content but it doesn’t give them direct control of the overflow which is frustrating.

Issue: When we load Figma prototype on a Galaxy Fold (folding screens) - the prototype is zoomed in. So, we can’t view the entire design without scrolling up/down. Android Figma app also have very little view controls unlike the browser. Viewing on the front screen on Galaxy Fold show the entire design, but scaled to narrow width due to screen aspect ratio.  My workaround now is viewing on Chrome browser inside Galaxy Fold. Figma App for Android - can you test and add new view settings, so I can Scale to Fit?

I’m sure the replay option for the scroll transform animation is checked, but in preview mode, it doesn’t seem to replay—the transformation only happens once. Is this a known issue or possibly a bug?

Hey Figma team/community,I've just started using the new Figma Slides and was really excited to convert our whole company over to it, but I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to present my slides on mobile without all the UI stuff getting in the way. This feels like it should be super basic, but I can't find a clean presentation mode for mobile anywhere. Here's what I've tried: Browser on mobile: The navigation bar is always there. Can't get rid of it. (I’ve tried “Hide Toolbar” option from the Safari menu, however it still displays the url and black and white columns either side and still looks messy) Mobile app: Here I can go fullscreen which is great, BUT there's this checkerboard pattern on the sides (like when you see transparency in design apps). I can’t have it look like this during presentations. If this was just black, it'd be perfect. Am I missing a background color setting somewhere? iPad app: Same checkerboard issue, plus I can't hide the top bar of the app. Fig

For some reason, on the Figma Desktop App, when you search for a resource on the community tab and you find something that you wanna save for later, for some reason, when you click on it and the modal pops up, the “Save” (flag icon) button is not present.HOWEVER, when you click on that little chain icon to copy the resource item link and paste it on the browser, the page that loads up is not resource page inside a modal. It’s like a full page of it, and the save button is present.That’s the only way I found to save resources in your profile for later. Am I doing something wrong or is it really a UI error?

After setup of a new laptop i cannot access my file anymore. (  )It says “Request access to file” I went through your checklist:Make sure you're logged into the correct account. → did that Check if you’ve accepted the invitation to view or edit the file under the right account. → did that, i have another account for a different company - this one does not own the file either. Look in your deleted files to see if the file is there. → not there in both accounts Contact the file owner to request access again. → did that, but obviously it does not help as i request access from myself. i dont get any notification either.I would be very thankful for any help.

There are bugs in the Figma prototype that cause it to frequently malfunction. We often have to reload the prototype to trigger click events properly, and comments sometimes appear in incorrect or inconsistent positions.

Hi, First, thanks for adding curved arrows to FigJam—this feature really improves board readability in certain layouts!However, the arrow ends sometimes appear off depending on their start and end points. Often, they don’t align perpendicularly with the target object (see attached images). As you can see on the pictures, the arrowheads look reversed as to how it should be depending if it is connected to the top or side of an object. It would be much better if the arrowheads always stay perpendicular to the edge of the connected object. Please consider this improvement 🙇🤔 🙃

Hi everyone,We're on the Figma Organization plan, and suddenly all our custom fonts are gone—both the ones we installed manually and those synced via services like Adobe Fonts. Figma now shows a message saying "No fonts installed by you", which is blocking our work.This issue appeared out of nowhere and affects all our team members. Is anyone else experiencing this, or does anyone know what might be causing it and how to fix it?Thanks in advance!

The latest Figma build (125.4.8) is causing severe performance issues across multiple systems, making it frustrating to work on even moderately complex files. On macOS (Intel MacBook Pro 2019, i9, 32GB RAM): Extremely laggy interactions (delayed selection, slow rendering, unresponsive tools). Sometimes running into High CPU usage even with simple vector edits. Issue persists after a fresh macOS reinstall, ruling out system clutter. Kills the creative workflow due to constant freezing/stuttering. On Windows (8th Gen Intel i7, 16GB RAM, SSD): Slightly better than macOS but still noticeably sluggish. Frame drops while zooming/panning, delays in plugin execution. Both systems meet Figma’s recommended specs, yet performance is worse than previous builds. Is this a regression in rendering efficiency? Are others facing similar slowdowns?Temporary fixes tried (no success): Disabling hardware acceleration. Clearing cache/reinstalling Figma. I can't delete any text in Figjam using Google keyboard on Android tablet, if I connect a physical keyboard the backspace on keyboard works or if I'm writing a text in a input field like the one we use for looking a plug-in, in this input text the Google keyboard backspace works. It only doesn't works inside the whiteboard.

Hello! I'm experiencing an issue with a component that includes a right-aligned gradient frame. The gradient has a variable applied to its width and is set to fixed positioning.When the component is resized for a different breakpoint by switching to a different mode, the gradient’s width updates correctly based on the variable. However, its position shifts inward and it no longer stays aligned with the right edge. It appears the resizing is anchored on the right side of the gradient, causing it to shift inward rather than staying aligned with the component edge.Steps to Reproduce: Create a component with a gradient frame aligned to the right edge. Create at least two modes and add different width values in these modes.  Apply the width variable to gradient.   Set the gradient to fixed positioning (right). Resize the component via mode switching. Observe that the gradient shifts and is no longer flush with the right edge. Expected Behavior:The gradient should remain fixed to t

I'm experiencing an issue with the selection tool in Figma. When I try to click and drag to select multiple items on the canvas, it often fails to work properly. Sometimes it only selects some of the items within the selection box, and other times it doesn't select anything at all even though I'm definitely dragging over layers. And then I have to select them one by one, the only way it works. 

Hi, I’m having a problem publishing a noise effect style I’ve created. Once I publish the library, everything else is able to publish aside from the noise effect (its status constantly shows ‘Added’). The error I get is this: Is this a known problem? Anything I can do to get my noise effect to publish? Thanks!

When copy an instance from a master component with absolute position in the text 'Tittle', the letter 'Tittle' is skewed downward. It only happens in the same file, and it works fine when copy it from the library to another file. I deleted all of the components from the component set, and it works fine again. What's the problem? The ‘nav-bar’ master component consists of auto-layout. 

Am I the only one not being able to collapse a selected layer or parent when the layers panel is scrolled down, having this item sticky?Hovering over the sticky layer shows the chevron to collapse (screenshot 1), but nothing happens on click. I need to scroll up until it’s not sticky anymore in order to have the chevron working on click (screenshot 2). Would be great to have this simple issue fixed!  

I do have Figma DevMode license/seat 30 day trial. I am using VS code extension for Figma and trying to generate code snippets as shown in your help doc (link below). But I don't see any code generation plugins available and I don't see any code to use in our VS code. Am I missing anything? Figma for VS Code – Figma Learn - Help Center

This seems to be relatively new and I’m not sure if its a bug or a feature. In the past, all your instances would update in real-time as long your main component was on the same page. Even if the instances are nested in some other components (also on the same page).Today I made some changes to my main components but the instances were still stuck on an older version. I had to manually update them even though all of the main components were on the same page. Anyone else experiencing this??

I was trying to rename a set of frames with figma AI, however the order was totally wrong. The first screen with prefix "15", the second with "07", etc. It could be really helpful a feature for the AI with sequence and order indicator, like the plugin "Rename it".
