Hello Figma Product Support,I am urgently following up because my Figma Education access will expire in only a few hours, and this issue has still not been resolved.To clarify, I am currently an eligible university student. The problem is NOT my eligibility.I previously verified my Education status using my former university email address: (redacted by the moderator due to PII)My university email account has since changed, so I deleted the Figma account associated with that email and now use my new university email address: (redacted by the moderator due to PII)However, when I attempt to verify my Education status with my current university email, I receive a “Verification Limit Exceeded” error because the verification associated with my previous university email is still being counted.SheerID has informed me that they cannot access or modify Figma accounts or systems and directed me to Figma for further assistance.Therefore, what I urgently need is for Figma to reset/remove the verifi

A user reported that several people in her contact list have received this email today and she doesn’t even have a Figma account.  Was there a recent compromise to Figma’s system?  If not, what is causing this?  Emails are being sent from Figma’s domain, no-reply@mail.figma.com.  See attachment for more information.  Need to know what caused this and how to prevent future emails like this. 

I’ve been working on a plugin with the new AI generated plugins functionality. After testing, I want it published so people in my team can also test it but I can’t do it because I keep receiving errors all the time:“Something went wrong!, Please try again, or report this file to the Figma team for support. An error occurred. Please try again”That’s what I receive all the time.How can I solve it? 

I love the idea of figma motion and can see it working in my setup, but the lack of audio is a huge miss for animated with timing and sound. I am sure there is a plan, but do you have any info as to when audio will be introduced? FYI - I tried making a plugin using the agent and it said no to me. :)Thanks in advance!Dan

I've created a nice container-component that has a slot. It consists of a parent (height fixed) and a child (height fill). Whenever I add an extra component to the slot, the slot jumps to height fixed, but I can't think of any reason why that's necessary or desired. I now have to manually reset it to fill, which is not helping with productivity. What I want is that the slot just keeps the set height property as is defined in the container-component, because that was my intent in the first place. I could only find an old closed post about it that seems related, but closed:  

Previously, when I created my Make file, it had a Pages feature that allowed me to jump to the pages I wanted.I went on vacation, and now it doesn't work anymore.When I click on "Enable Pages," it pastes a prompt into the agent, and AI tells that the feature is already implemented, but it doesn't actually work. Hi Figma team/community, We’re experiencing an issue with components from our design system library. We have a central Figma file called “Voyatek Design System”, which contains our components and nested components. These components are published as a library and are being used across multiple product files, including ITS, TPP, and ADMIN. The issue is specifically happening in the ITS file: • When we bring a component from the Voyatek Design System library into the ITS file, the component resets itself. • The nested components within that component also reset to their default/library state. • This causes the customizations and overrides we’ve made in the consuming file to be lost or reverted. • The same components are working correctly in the other files (TPP and ADMIN). • The ITS file is currently a branch, which may be relevant to the issue. Figma Support,I need a concrete resolution to this billing issue, not another link to the standard cancellation instructions.I previously paid for Figma and switched back to the free plan. I am using Figma as an individual, do not have a paid team, and my current plan is explicitly shown as FREE / Starter.Despite this, on September 3, 2026, I received a card authorization notification for USD 15.96 from FIGMA.I have already followed Figma’s published cancellation instructions. They do not resolve the problem: the interface shows that I am a free user, and there is NO “Cancel plan” button or active paid subscription available for me to cancel.How am I supposed to stop recurring billing when Figma shows me a free plan and provides no cancellation control?This is unacceptable. When the MCP server in Figma Desktop (macOS) is on, the MCP panel (shown in Dev Mode for a selected node) has a setup button with two lines and two circles, and tooltip “Open set up modal” which shows a popup where I can turn off the MCP server “Enabled” toggle or configure the Image source.If I toggle off the Enabled option, the setup button disappears from the panel entirely, and if I closed the modal, the only way to turn the MCP server back on is to search the Actions commands palette for Enable desktop MCP Server.I hope the UIUX can be improved :) The setup button should be always visible in the panel regardless of whether the server is on or off. There should be another way to indicate the server status.

Hi, figma support team! I am urgently need to move or change all of my design file in figma to new email account. Currently i use student Email with student plan, and in three months my account will be deleted because i was graduated. Now i need to move it so my work doesn't lost entirely. If there any other option, such as export it offline or anything else, it will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hey Figma Team, First off thank you for making this software available for students at universities around the world. I am reaching out because I am noticing an alarming trend with my students at the University of Michigan here in Ann Arbor. I teach multiple classes both at the undergraduate and graduate level and about ¼ of all of my students who are signing up for the first time are experiencing issues with SheerID’s verification process. They get caught in a loop. It’s the same problem and I can confirm that students are using their umich email address. Is this a new vendor? I don’t remember seeing this many issues when I have taught UX and AI classes in the past. This has affected 150+ students out of the 1000+ who study UX, CS, and AI design here on campus in Ann Arbor. I wish your team the best. We have found a few work arounds with the demo/free version, but I would love to continue to preach the wonders of Figma and give students full access. Cheers, Jim

I am 12 student I like ui and ux designing so I use figma more .then I came to know that free policy for students so I am Willing to use that policy as a student but I can't find out my school in verification page but I am a student due to it . Hello,I did a major update on my design system and library file (changed the value of all the color variable and change the main typography), I published the 2000+ changes, I updated the children files and… nothing or nearly nothing.Some color are upgraded but not completely, buttons have the old color and old typo, checkboxes have the old color and so on.The components are OK and the files correctly linked, if I change the color of an instance and change it back, the correct color is displayed so the library is definitely updated.Same for the instances, if I change one property and rollback, or reset the instance, it’s good.I tried closing files, closing Figma, closing and reset Figma via the help menu, nothing works.Maybe it’s linked to instances with nested properties as those properties don’t update neither, but I’m not even sure.Obviously I can’t edit all the elements trough all my files one by one, and there is not “force update” button. Just fix slots! The slot feature doesn’t behave properly when switching variants: around 90–100% of the content from the other variant simply disappears.

It looks like font file versions are not accurately reflected under Resources → Fonts.For example, after being uploaded to Figma, Geist v1.7.2 appears in Figma as Geist 1.800 (rounded number).Thanks for fixing this!

Figma recently launched the feature for a grid to automatically add/remove rows depending on the content that’s actually in there.  Unfortunately it’s not working for me, and I haven’t seen anyone else talking about it. Let’s say I have a component with a grid, and it has about 4 rows worth of cards inside. When I use the instance of this component and hide 1 row’s worth of cards, the grid initially shrinks in height to hug the remaining 3 rows visible. But a few minutes later the instance will pop back to the height of 4 rows, leaving an empty row. If I toggle hide/show on the cards it will force Figma to recalculate the height and hug again, but then the same thing will happen again 2 minutes later.  The inverse is also true; if I include hidden extra cards in my component, and turn them on in the instance, the grid will initially grow in height to accomodate the extra cards, but later shrink again to the original number of rows, causing the extra cards to overflow the frame.

Hi, the figma cursor used to be small and neat. In the past few days it has suddenly grown much bigger and it glitches in the middle of work switching back to the original smaller size, and growing again when moved or used for an action. Any idea why this is happening?

Hi Figma team,Since September 1, images have stopped displaying when using Figma Mirror on mobile devices.Frames, text, shapes, and other UI elements are displayed normally, but image assets are completely missing in Mirror.What I've tested:Regular JPEG images do not display. The issue occurs across different Figma files. I tested it on my phone and my colleague tested it on a different phone — both have the same issue. Text, shapes, and other UI elements display normally. The images display correctly in the Figma design file itself.Expected behavior:Images should display normally in Figma Mirror along with the rest of the frame.Actual behavior:The frame is mirrored correctly, but all image assets are missing.This issue has persisted since September 1 and is reproducible on multiple mobile devices.Is this a known issue with Figma Mirror's image rendering or asset loading?Thanks!
