The folder with other files works fine, but when I open my design file, no created artboard or design appears. It doesn't appear as deleted in the trash or hidden. I wasn't sent an email to restore it in case it was deleted by my team. I need help urgently.

Hi guysWhen selecting a text, or any object, the selector “border” is all messed up and you have to like place your cursor on the exact same pixel as the “selection box” in order to drag it. It did not use to be like this. Can someone please switch back I will plant a tree if so.  Thanks

I love the MCP project but am having a really hard time getting good results from it, every time I asking Claude Code or Cursor to style my UI component like the provided link it’d not even close, it was 85%-90% wrong, sometimes really wrong. Making it mostly unusable.Lots of experience with LLM coding, I know what I’m asking for it with-in their capability. I also recently tried Figma Make where I imported the exact some component, using the exact same prompt and it completely nailed. Figma Make using Claude Sonnet got all the colors right, the fonts sizes, added the exact stroke and rounded corners, it even added roll-over state and correctly guessed my design intent, really amazing! But when I do the same with Claude Code and Figma MCP but it completely fails, adding styles to the wrong components, getting all the fonts wrong, colors are all over the place, etc. I have some theories as to why but would love some feedback and helpTheories1. Hi guys! i wanted to ask that I am a student and i was hoping to get the student discount but I am from india so my school doesn't provide with the student mail id. So, I emailed figma and asked them if i could provide with my report card, my transfer certificate, fee reciept, anything that could prove i am a Student but it's been 5 days since i mailed them but they haven't emailed back. Is there anything I could do to contect them or anything?

i had an account with a subscription that i lost the password to and anyway of retreiving it, how can i cancel this subscription, the gmail i believe is (redacted by the moderator due to PII)

Hello all,I’m unable to use my desktop app because the default browser that opens up for log in is not supported anymore - it’s safari 12 - (I can’t even log in via figma.com).Any clue on how to pick another default browser while being logged out (it seems like I have very limited access to parameters) ??Or another way to solve this ?Thanks

Hi Team!I have an issue while using figma make and can’t prolong with the prompts. Nothing is working. 

We are sending team invitations to two email accounts, [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] and [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII], but the invitation emails are not being received.We have checked the email management settings, including spam filters and blocked senders, and found no issues.Could you confirm whether this is an internal issue within Figma preventing the invitation emails from being sent?

It would be great if we could put the properties in the order we want in the variants. With drag and drop like layers. Have a good day 🙂

Steps to reproduce: Draw a rectangle → select the brush → try to apply it only to the bottom edge.The UI makes it look like the brush applied, but the stroke thickness doesn’t actually change — and partial edge strokes don’t work at all.Shouldn’t both thickness change and partial strokes apply if it’s working properly? 🤔

I have just recently verified my education status but I still cannot change my team to an education plan. I have tried the guide but was unable to find anywhere that verifies that the team I want to upgrade is for educational purposes. Could someone help me with verifying if my plan is being processed properly? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I have a side panel with buttons, and when clicking on one of the categories, the main screen slides to the correct categories. This works great. The buttons are in variant components with three states (default, hover, and selected). When I click on the button, I have two interactions set up in the prototype: ‘scroll to’ (to scroll to the section) ‘change to’ : state = selected My issue is that I want the button to go back to the default state when I click on another one. Is there a way to do that? (for now, they all become selected when I click one after the other). Thank you in advance, Anaïs

A file I created on my account, has gone missing from any list of items on my account and when I go to a direct link of it online, it says that I need to request access to it. I created the file and It was rather important to my work, It is not in my trash I checked, and there are no notifications stating anything has changed or been deleted.  

I just can’t extract an image using Figma MCP.As you can see its successful, but it gives me a url like this, which doesn’t point to anything hence the images do not get rendered.Also attaching my Figma MCP settings.    And before anyone talks about it losing context etc because of the size. This is what I’m exporting, just this…Because I just want to find out how to do a successful export with an image.

I use a drawing tablet to document and sketch app prototypes for work. Until recently, I preferred using FigJam over Figma Design for this, specifically because FigJam didn’t apply the aggressive — and often laggy — line-smoothing algorithm that Figma Design uses with the pencil tool.Unfortunately, the June 26th update seems to have changed that. Now, FigJam is attempting to auto-correct my strokes, but it's doing so poorly — skipping parts of the line and miscalculating stroke width. Here's an example:

Paragraph spacing does not work. In addition to the fact that the button has moved and is no longer in the general panel, any substituted value does not change the interval between paragraphs, there is no reaction to its manual change. Restarting does not help.

Our team recently discovered that we’re being billed for two Professional subscriptions — one annual and one monthly. We receive two separate invoices, but in Settings > Plan we only see a single subscription available to cancel.I’ve already contacted support (Request #1475232), but so far the responses haven’t addressed my questions. I keep being told to simply cancel the plan, without clarification on the risks or how we ended up in this situation.Here are the issues we urgently need answers to: How did we end up with two overlapping subscriptions (annual + monthly) under the same team, instead of being prompted to just add seats to the existing plan? If I click cancel, there’s no option to choose which plan. How can we cancel just the annual plan without losing access to files (since the monthly is already paid through Sept 16)? If we cancel from the Settings page, will it terminate both subscriptions or only one? If we re-subscribe afterward, will we be enrolled in a singl

Hi everyone,I created a library with color variables, but when I publish the library, my colors don’t get published – they only appear under Hidden. They are not set as “Hidden from publishing,” so I don’t understand why they stay hidden. If I create new colors, they also appear under Hidden. I already tried duplicating my file, but the variables remain hidden. Also, when I copy a component into another file, I don’t get the message “pasted with unpublished variables.” I really don’t want to rebuild everything from scratch. Does anyone know what’s going on or how to fix this?Thanks a lot for your help!
