Hi, I’ve been trying to recreate a commercial tartan pattern for myself trough Figma, and though it looks almost okay, the spacing in between the horizontal lines below (created by a clipping layer) always seems to be uneven.The solid squares in the center look almost rectangular due to the clipping mask, the white squares in the corner end up being actually rectangular, despite all white borders being equally wide, and the spacing in the bottom white stripes are closer together in the middle. I know it must be caused by either ratios or my clipping layer, but I’m not sure which math is required to make a perfect square tile. Frame/tile size: 2250 pxPurple stripe: 306.8 px wideWhite stripe: 41.11 px wideClipping mask stripe: 10.2 px wide The entire pattern is created by making all vertical stripes first, then duplicating that layer and rotating it by 90 degrees, and then appying the striped clipping mask in between the vertical and horizontal layers The reason I’m using Figma is becaus

Hi everyone,I'm working with a Figma Make file that's based on the Tailwind CSS library. I'm looking to customize some of the default Tailwind styles directly within Figma Make to match our specific brand guidelines, and I'd love to hear your insights on the best way to approach this. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to Modify color palettes.For example, changing the  blue-500  to a specific brand blue, or adding new brand-specific color variations while maintaining the Tailwind naming conventions if possible.

In prototype mode, the hover effect (“while hovering”) sticks and does not disappear after hovering over an element. As a result, when hovering over several objects, all hover effects remain on the screen. What is the bug? : worried: Closing and reopening the prototype helps solve the problem. But after some time, the bug may appear again. It looks like some kind of memory problem, in general, prototypes and files take a long time to load and sometimes slow down. Good afternoon)) Pop-up is configured in prototype. When you hover over the buttons at the bottom, the pop-up closes, although there is a Close button at the top right. How to remove the pop-up closure. Also, one of the frames with information inside the pop-up is hidden. How can I fix this?

Hello community, I am currently testing out how publishing variables, styles and components works in Figma and I am wondering if there are any tools that the community has built for better managing the publications of these features. I currently need to go through a large amount of pages that might have assets from remote libraries and I need to hide these assets from publishing.  Currently the publish modal window offers a pinpoint / locate button for finding variants that have conflicting property values but it does not offer a pinpoint/locate button for jumping to a component that is in the list of components to be published. It also does not tag or identify any components as being part of a local library or a remote library. Furthermore, the publish modal window offers the option to right click on a component to view a popup selector that offers to hide the component from publishing. When clicking on the popup to confirm the hide from publishing option the listed component jumps to

The component works fine on mobile and tablet screen sizes, but once it’s scaled to desktop the third slide wont work.I’ve redone this one a couple of times but can’t figure out what’s wrong

My original postSome of my icons are displaying unexpected holes in circular areas where there shouldn't be any (see attached images). The issue seems to occur when strokes overlap and create negative space, possibly due to how the stroke is being rendered or interpreted.I'm aiming to keep everything within a single vector and maintain consistent stroke width throughout.Expected Behavior:Icons should render as solid shapes with no gaps or holes, as shown in the final image.Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. I had an account that used an old email address and I worked on a number of really important projects in it. That email no longer exists and I cannot set up email forwarding for it, so I can’t reset my password or get access to those projects. I really need access to those projects for portfolio work, and am not sure how to recover the account. Is it possible to change the email associated with that account or somehow change the password? I am not sure how to proceed. 

Is there a way to bulk delete all the number in the layer name with rename layer feature?  

Hello everyone,since yesterday, weird library updates have been showing up in almost all of my files. They show updates that supposedly have been published months ago (some up to 4 months). Those are libraries I use and update almost daily, so I’m confused that they offer updates from months ago now.When I click on “Update”, Figma quickly says “Successfully updated assets”, but nothing changes.When I click on an icon to see the side by side comparison, it loads forever.I tried to force another update from those libraries to see what happens. Now the Base Colors library says “Published 1 day ago”, but the problem remains. It won’t go away. I also tried doing the “Reset Figma and restart”, which I think formerly used to be “Clear cache”. And I obviously restarted the computer, but nothing helps.Anybody have any idea what else I could try?

Hey community! I am currently trying a simple operation of bulk-changing a property of the first subcomponent in a master component A. The master component has many variants always containing 1 instance of other components, which are built up with the same “architecture”. I’m trying to create a Boolean Property on my “Icon” layer inside a button Component, but when I click on the Icon layer, the Layer section in the RIGHT PANEL does not show up. (see screenshot). To be clear, I’m not talking about the left Layers panel. I mean the Layer: Passthrough section in the right panel. When I even just create a basic shape (not a component) in my frame, I still don’t see the Layer section in the RIGHT PANEL, why??

Hi! I have a problem with a file I created and edited just this week. The file was only accessible to me and it was created in my drafts, but now I don’t see this file anywhere in my workspace, I only see it in my recents and when I open the file, I get an error that “this is an unassigned draft”. Even when I click the “request access” button, I don’t receive this request by email, as if the file was created in someone else’s space. I might have exited a workspace as well, not sure, but there are several files affected and I am unable to identify owner as well. What can I do about this?

Using Figma under Windows.I have to review a figma design my designer created. There are many layers.I would like to view one layer.  Is there any way I can Zoom to it after selecting it?  It seems I have to hunt and zoom all around the screen to finally look at something.  Figma doesn’t seem to work as a collaborative tool. Is there a save button for this topic/ post?  I only see SEND. Send it where? 

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a UI mockup for a project related to Script Bot, and I'm running into some layout behavior that I can't quite figure out.I have a set of components (like navigation cards and action buttons) inside a container using Auto Layout. When I simulate state changes (like expanding or collapsing a section of the Script Bot APK UI), the entire frame seems to jump or flicker briefly especially when Smart Animate is applied.This doesn’t happen when I use “Instant” transitions combined with “Preserve scroll position,” but my goal is to achieve a smooth Smart Animate effect without breaking the scroll or causing jumpy behavior.Has anyone here run into something similar when prototyping APK-related interfaces? When sharing my Figma Slides presentation with clients, the hyperlinked text is not clickable on mobile. When clients try to tap the link, the presentation progresses to the next slide instead of opening the link in another tab like it does on desktop. It’s important to note that these clients do not have the Figma mobile app and will not be downloading it in the future, so this solution must apply to the mobile browser version of the Presentation links.Am I missing something or is this not possible? Please advise.

I have links to two of my drafts, but they seem to have been removed from my library. They cannot be accessed by the links either. I have opened a ticket 1417624 (it was autoclosed), links to the files can be found there. There may be more drafts that have disappeared from my library, but I do not have links for them.

I’m having an issue where tables fill color is different in the Figma Slides editor than it is in Presentation mode. See screenshots (first image editor, second is presentation mode): 

We are using monthly professional plan on Figma and there is a team named "xyz" inside which I work on my design mostly. So inside this team there are several other projects as well which are our products as well. So, inside some of this project there is published design system made in the separate project within the same team so the same design system is used in couple of projects.Now I have started to make another project which is completely new and I have not published any library there but when I am inside that new project and check the assets panel there appears the components of the design system used in other projects which I have not published in this file. How do I fix this? Please!  help
