[RESOLVED] Figma Loading Issues — October 20, 2025

Figma just stoped working. Is it me or someone else is facing the same issue? 
i can not do anything except loading the file and doing a preview.

Our Engineering Team has resolved the issue where Figma services were degraded or unavailable due to a previous impact from AWS and other dependencies.

Please fully refresh Figma, and if you continue to experience any issues, reply here with details — we’ll be happy to take a closer look.

When I click on my component to change it’s icon with the instances feature, the menu loads without any results.

Loading assets is also not working properly..

It work at the beginning of the project.

I’m experiencing this also. There was an update to Figma that just happened and now I’m unable to access my connected libraries and UI kits.

  • Figma version 125.9.10 
  • macOS version 26.0.1 (25A362)

I thought it was just the libraries not loading for the file I was working on, but no, seems that Figma is not working for me at all either.

Files finally loading in for me, but I seem to not be able to work within my own files!?

SAME! Not loading at all, and I’m not allowed to copy/paste in my file 😓

Figma presumably relies on AWS, and they are having a major outage in one of their regions at the moment. They’ve issued a fix, but it’s being rolled out to all of their customers, which takes time. 

I’m also seeing issues, specifically that the middle center UI (where you create new elements) is now missing - but everything else is largely working (although the account / home page isn’t loading).

 

It’s annoying and highlights why a fully offline version would be really good - but also not Figma’s fault (other than using AWS 😅)

I really need Figma to be back, I couldn’t preview anything and it just kept loading.

YESSSS also not working for me. Im a student and Canvas is also down today. As well as amazon, snapchat, life360 and so much more.

Me too. it’s not connected to the Figma server. It was only working on locally. And when I deleted and re-installed it, it was completely dis-connected to the server.

I’ve been experiencing performance issues in Figma — the app has been running unusually slow, and some files are not loading properly. Additionally, the Export section is no longer visible in the right-hand properties panel, even when layers or frames are selected.

I’ve already tried refreshing, clearing the cache, and logging in again, but the issue persists across multiple files. Could you please look into this and confirm if it’s related to the recent update (v125.9.10) OR to the AWS issue?

Same problem here. After I installed the last update everything has gone dark

 

I have the same issue as you , I thought it was my own issue, but I tried clean my cookies or change the web browser , but still not working

Quick update for everyone — our engineering team has identified the issue causing degraded or unavailable Figma services. It’s related to failures with AWS and other dependencies.

after so many uninstall and changing the browser , i finally find out the problem from the figma itself ..
