Why is this menu here? Why can’t I close it? If it’s supposted to be there (it’s not), why can’t I move it?I want to work on the icon behind the menu, but after asking a completely useless agent for help I can’t even see the icon.

Issue with raster images. All Jpgs, PNGs and one .mp4 file appear correctly within the editor and internal preview but when viewing “Share” prototype link, the preview link loads with blanks — for any of those files. Vector assets appear fine. What is the issue? I have tried all of the following with clearing cache multiple times: copying / re-pasting the images re-uploading each image asset duplicating the file to try a new prototype link Clearing cache restarting testing in incognito and on mobile / different devices (same blanks appear)Seems to be an issue with the link itself / Figma server?Please advise.

I encountered an issue where, immediately after deleting a Team, two important files that were in Drafts became inaccessible. There may be other affected files, but these are the two I noticed missing.I need to regain access to these files as quickly as possible. Hi,My daughter is 17 and just started a Communication and Multimedia Design program at a Dutch university of applied sciences. When she signs up for the Figma Education plan (higher education) with her school email, she gets a screen saying she must be 18.Figma's help center only says applicants must be old enough to consent themselves, and the Terms of Service mention 18+ only for Figma AI. Has anyone found an exception or workaround for under-18 higher education students, for example via the institution?Thanks!

I’m locked out of my Figma account because my university deactivated the student email address associated with it after I left school. I’m completely logged out of Figma, so I can no longer authenticate through Google or access the email address connected to the account.The account contains important design files that I urgently need access to. I have already submitted two Figma Support tickets, but I haven’t received a response yet. When I try to access the tickets, I’m unable to open/view them.I still know which student email address the account was registered under and can provide the full email address and any other information needed privately to Figma Support to verify ownership.Could a Figma Community team member please help escalate this to Support so that I can verify ownership and have the email address on my existing Figma account changed to my personal email? Thank you!

I don't use this account; I didn't have an active subscription, yet I was charged anyway. I only opened it once that month to transfer a file. Your system really shouldn't work this way. I request a full refund. I certainly didn't switch to the Professional plan—I don't need it.

[Reposting this since it’s been 8 months, it’s still an issue, and the original thread has been “closed for replies”]When exporting frames with gradients to PNG, you'll get semi-transparent pixels—even when all gradient stops are 100% opacity. This happens whether the gradient is applied directly to the frame or on a separate layer, as long as there's no solid fill behind it.  The attached Figma file includes four test frames. Visually, they appear identical, but only the fourth frame—with a solid fill behind the gradient—exports as fully opaque. You can verify this with a tool like: PNG transparency checker; the first three exports contain semi-transparent pixels. A workaround is to move the gradient to a separate layer, then apply a solid fill to the frame behind it, like the fourth frame in the attached file. Hi, I’m having trouble verifying domain ownership of a 2nd domain we own. Our 1st domain is verified - everything worked correctly. Here’s what I’m trying:Company admin > Settings > Domains Click “+ Domain” Copy the “figma-domain-...” Add it to our domain’s main TXT record (along with the other values there) with our DNS provider. Wait a few minutes until it says it’s live/in-sync. Come back to Figma > finish typing the domain name in the dialog that’s still open > click “Verify and add” Error:  “Unable to verify domain”  “We were unable to verify the following domain”

Hello,I want to downgrade seats to our annual subscription due to the non usage. I opened ticket #2145509 more than 48 hours back and there is no response.  For my account, I do not see any options to change seats. My renewal is coming up on Sept 26th and I would like my account seats get downgraded before that. ThanksKalyan  

There is a bug when you select a block of text and delete it. It takes the lenght of the block and apply it to new text. It is a very erratic behaviour. You can easily test it on your own in a text box.

I’ve had this recurring issue for a long period of time across many versions of Figma. I initially put it down to typing errors, but I ended up with the errors so often that I started paying careful attention.When I input a value for a variant property, the final letter periodically drops off, creating naming errors. 

When I was trying to make a placeholder layer, I noticed that the text bounding box was behaving weirdly when I used symbols (like `()`, `{}`, `[]`) at the start and end of the text layer, and when I had left or right alignment applied. As you can see below, the text bounds end before one of the symbols.  

My Figma Community file is intended to be completely free, but the published Community page is still showing a Buy button.The file previously contained a Gumroad link, but I have already removed the Gumroad link and all references to paid or purchasable content. I also made sure that the file no longer contains any paid resources or purchase-related elements and published the updated version to Community.However, the Buy button is still appearing on the Community page.There is also no pricing or “Sell this resource on Community” setting available on my end that I can disable.Could you please check whether the file is still marked internally as a paid or third-party purchase resource and remove the Buy button so the file appears as a free Community resource?

I am experiencing the same problem as in When using the Figma API to export SVGs after adding or deleting an icon in a file, some SVGs exhibit subtle differences. Specifically, some path data shifts by 0.01, or the paths change between relative and absolute coordinates.Because I use this API to export thousands of icons directly into Pull Requests (PRs), these minor variations create a lot of visual noise in code reviews.Is there a known solution or a recommended workaround from the Figma team to prevent this? 

I ran into some weird behavior around Figma Motion during plugin development.Having the Motion timeline open in Figma, with any layer containing animations selected, causes that layer’s entire tree to get a hidden duplicate with a new ID. The duplicate tree only shows up in currentPage.children, not in Layers list in Figma’s UI.Also, if the duplicated layer contains any component sets, calling getMainComponentAsync on an instance node will return a new duplicate component that’s neither part of the original or the duplicated tree. I noticed that the custom font files on my published Figma Sites are no longer working as of this past week. My custom fonts were literally loading on Monday of this week and now my site is all default web fonts. Upon chatting with Figma AI Support, it said “Figma Sites does not currently support custom fonts, and published Sites support Google Fonts only.”Is this true? Is anyone else having this issue? Did Figma announce this change anywhere?Note: Figma Sites is giving me zero errors with my font files, the CSS simply isn’t reading them anymore. I’ve deleted and re-uploaded several times.
