Hello Figma Team,I am trying to embed a Figma Make design into an external website using an iframe, with a URL like:https://www.figma.com/make/xxx/yyy?node-id=0-1&t=zzz-1. However, the iframe does not seem to load, likely due to Content Security Policy (CSP) restrictions.I have confirmed that Figma Photo (Prototype) can be embedded using the same method without any issues, for example:https://www.figma.com/proto/xxx/yyy?node-id=2-1&starting-point-node-id=2%3B1I have been using the following embed format:https://www.figma.com/embed?embed_host=share&url=${encodeURIComponent(originalUrl)}Could you please let me know if there is any way to embed Figma Make designs via iframe, or if there is an official workaround or recommended approach for displaying Make designs externally?Thank you very much for your support.

When creating a project and prompting Figma Make to build a landing page with a dashboard, the preview and site are not working. During the prompt, the screen displayed too many prompts, showed a black screen, and after launch, turned white. Tried refreshing preview, refreshing the page, and duplicating the file, but the issue persists. No error messages, just a black or white screen. imagine these is happening After prompting Almost done the project. How Can you help me

I have a Design file which has a bunch of Pages and a load of Variables. The file contains components, some component variants have variables set including Conditions.When I duplicate a the file (This has happened with a few files over a period of months), some of the component variant variables, do not duplicate.Some Variables are missing completely.Some conditional variables are only half duplicated.Navigate to variables are 50/50 when page is duplicated.

Hi, since today my Figma UI (app) seems bugged. Happens in dark and lightmode. Already did a couple of reboots and installed the latest macOS update. The borders are way too solid.  Screenshots:Any ideas how to solve this?

Just created a pitch deck using the AI feature and trying to export but it only lets me do File>Local Copy to a .make file. I don’t see any Menu Bar either for the Export function.

 I have submitted K-12 education EDU verification several time with no response. I did this immediately when I was first notified and also 2 more times over several months and I have received no response. I have spoken to other teachers in my district who have also experienced this same issue.!--a=1-->

Hi Figma,Related to this closed bug topic:I have a library (with mostly buttons) used by a Figma Sites page. When I make changes in the buttons (color, type size, etc), the changes update the instances as expected -EXCEPTING SIZE. The buttons have fixed height, and no matter what I do, changes in this fixed height won’t update. Inserting a NEW button instance will carry the updated height, but the instances won’t change at all.Need a fix please.

I’m having an issue in Figma Sites where I’ve made a custom nav bar with figma make and it works as I intended except for the fact that I can’t actually link to the pages on my site. I only have three buttons “Work”, “About”, & “Contact” and I’d like to functionality to work like so.When the "Work" button is pressed it automatically goes to the page titled "Home". When the "About" button is clicked it automatically goes to the page titled "/about" When the "Contact" button is clicked it automatically scrolls to the component labeled "Footer 1"I’ve had mixed success with the first and last item. Essentially it defaults to the “scroll-to” interaction but only works on the desktop portion of my Home page. When the About button is clicked I either get a black screen or a “Not Found Error Page”. If anyone has insights on how I might achieve what I’m looking for I’d really appreciate it! The base code for the nav bar without the above linking interactions is attached. 

I have a component named "Popover Item". On that component I applied a hovered interaction. The layer structures in the component variants are already the same. After that, I inserted the instance of that component into another component named "Popover". Then, I inserted the instance of the Popover component into a "Navigation" component.The prototype runs normally and as expected when I use the instance of the Navigation component on the "Homepage" page. The hovered interaction also works as I imagined. Even when I convert the Homepage page into a component, the interaction from Navigation still runs normally.The problem arises when I create a prototype from the instance of that Homepage component. What's strange is that the icon on the Popover Item instance that I had already overridden to be hidden in the Navigation component, suddenly appears after being hovered. I have checked and I think this is not a layer structure problem. However, of course I can be wrong and miss something.I

Do I have access to Figma sites through my Figma student/education account?Thanks

In Figma Make, is it possible to show a dropdown or display a button when hovering with the mouse?I can see hover interactions working when the button color changes or the design updates, but I don’t see cases where another button appears by overlapping layers on hover.Is this something that can only be seen after publishing?

Same here. Our problems started after last update and switching our Professional subscription from  the monthly payment into the annual payment.We have the same issues: changing a variant take ages, changing properties - the same, detaching component with nested component it’s impossible, there is error occurring. Some of the components are older, we used them for couple of months before subscription changes and before last Figma update and it was all ok. What is more concerning is that the memory usage is very low arround 12-20%, so there is something more complicated than memory.I noticed that some people are reporting similar issues after switching from monthly payment into annual one. PLEASE FIND A SOLUTION to this quickly, because we can’t work properly. Some changes are not possible at all.

HelloI’m working on a carousel animation with a smooth transition. I’m having trouble getting it to work quite right — I can make it move from one image to another in one direction of the carousel, but not the other. I want a sliding, drag-style transition between the images.It is supposed to have a round curve on the animation.Thank you in advance for taking the time to read the above. I’m working in a file I haven’t used in about 6 months or so. Certain images in my figma files aren’t loading. I’ve tried on desktop and web. I’ve cleared my cache, force quite and reloaded, viewed in preview mode and nothing is working. I know there are a lot of issues due to aws outages, but I’m not sure if this is related, or if my images are corrupted in some way. How can I return my spacing, and padding controls to my UI? When I make an auto layout my controls aren't showing.

I am reading through OAuth support for Figma Plugins: https://developers.figma.com/docs/plugins/oauth-with-plugins/#saving-the-access-token-locally One thing I am confused about is how to handle refresh tokens? Should the Figma Plugin frontend store the refresh token along with the access token and handle refreshing at the proper time, or should the plugin backend store them and handle it? I feel like storing the refresh token in the Figma Plugin frontend is not great for security, since some OAuth providers might require the client secret to be sent along with a refresh request. If the backend handles refreshing tokens, I see a couple of hurdles:do we need to generate a new read key for the plugin to poll? how does the backend know what access token it is refreshing? Do we send in the current user ID or the access token we want refreshed?It also seems to go against what the documentation says, since it states that the server should delete the access token from the server after it has

Could you please let me know if there are plans to make a Figma app for iPads? And if so, when is it expected to be released?I’d really love to be able to work in Figma on an iPad the same way you can on a computer!!!!!

Hello,The desktop app that I have always used on my MacBook with MacOS 11.7.10 operating system stopped working today. There is a white cross on the app preview: when I click to open the application, a notification appears saying that MacOS 12.0 operating system is required.The MacBook (from 2015) can no more be updated. I am asking if it is possible to use the Figma desktop app on the previous version anyway. I’ve enabled Google Analytics in a Figma Site that I launched about a month ago and I’m able to see Users and Page Views, but not the Engagement Time. Is there a way to fix this or is it a know issue?

I’m pretty sure the real answer is “don’t set up your components that way” :P but I thought I’d ask in case its a bug.I have an open branch with a main component, and I copied an instance of that component over into another branch, both under the same master. (Branches will remain unmerged until the dev work is complete.)When I click “Go to main component,” instead of taking me to the branch with the main component, it just drops me on the first page of the master file.Is it because it’s bad practice to reuse components across unmerged branches--they don’t count until they are merged and published? Or is this a bug and it should be able to take me to the branch containing the main component?

I’m trying to clean up how shared configuration data is handled in a Unity project and wanted to sanity-check my approach.For things like gameplay tuning values, item definitions, and balance parameters, I’ve seen both of these patterns used: Static data classes with constants or readonly fields ScriptableObjects used as data containers, referenced by systems at runtime I understand the general benefits of ScriptableObjects (serialization, inspector editing, asset reuse), but I’m less clear on the tradeoffs once a project grows in size — especially around testing, version control, and runtime safety. In practice, when do you consider static data classes the better option, and when do ScriptableObjects clearly scale better?
