Bug? Expand image isn't working

When I try to expand the image, it shows the error “Cannot expand transparent backgrounds”, but that’s exactly what they did in the video, has anyone managed to do it?
I’ve already tried putting the image inside a frame, flatten and using Fill background, but nothing worked.
