I lost two extremely important Files after my last request here which was about the edu-status being available for my Gmail (this is my business related account) instead my student account I requested the edu status to be removed from my Gmail and added to my educational Uni mail. The files are missing on my Gmail account. One was related to my book keeping as freelancer and the other was the design of my new website. I checked deleted but they’re not there. Also I would never ever delete these files myself.Looking forward to help here since I am quite lost doing business without these Files. Thank you. I also remember the filenames :)

Hi all,I'm working on a web app that needs to work on a touch screen (most likely tablet-size). For the environment it will be used in, it's extra important that text stays readable and interactive elements are easy to touchTo get a feel for this, I have a tablet with a 1900 x 1200 resolution, 10.1 inch screen size and 224 pixels per inch, to try out prototypes of the screens with the Figma mobile app. The designs I make are also in 1900 x 1200 frames. When I open a Figma prototype in the mobile app, it gives 2 options for scaling the content: Fixed or Responsive.For reference, please see attachmed images below (these are not the actual screens from the web app as I cannot share those).When I view the designs on the canvas on my desktop at 100%, sizes look fine to me.On the tablet, this is also the case when I set the content scale to Responsive (image A). This adds a strange blank area to the right and bottom that I can scroll to by the way.

I am having trouble importing a plugin from a manifest file in the desktop app. Clicking ‘Import plugin from manifest’ doesn’t open a directory. Please see the attached screenshot

I’m using a MacBook Pro (M1), and for the last two days I’ve been experiencing a severe delay when cutting or pasting objects in Figma. Each action takes around 20–30 seconds to apply. Example of what teachers get when they try to renew their education plan​​​​Hello Figma team, I’m an IT admin in my school and we are teaching Figma since last year. Everything was working fine until this year when I had to renew the Education licence. I did renew mine but everytime I invite teachers and students in the school team, they can’t verify their emails. SheerID keeps saying that they already tried verifing or that they can’t verify at all. Can someone from the Figma team check what’s is happening with SheerID ? Thanks

Hi,I need urgent assistance. I created a full interactive dashboard prototype in Figma Make, then added a homepage and login structure. When I tried to edit a single section on the homepage using Point to edit, the platform deleted the entire project except for the edited div.My website, dashboard, and two weeks of work are completely gone.I cannot revert the changes because the entire file structure and codebase were deleted — there is nothing to restore on my end.I urgently need to know if you have any versioning or backup system that can recover the project immediately.  Hi. I am having an issue opening my project files in Figma. Before, it took a little longer, but now it happens very quickly; I do not even open the file and the message already appears. Hello,I am trying to obtain a student plan in Figma, but I am facing repeated issues with the verification process. My student ID card is in Polish because I study at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Poland. I submitted the front and back of my student card several times, but the verification failed each time due to an error.I have already contacted SheerID, the company responsible for the verification process, and created a support ticket. However, I previously had a negative experience with SheerID when trying to verify my student account, so I would kindly like to ask for assistance from the Figma moderation team.This student plan is very important for me to complete my university work and finish my final projects. I would be extremely grateful for any help or intervention to resolve this issue.Thank you in advance.

I have submitted plugin.My plugin adds functionality that doesn’t exist in Figma. There is already quite similar plugin. Approved.I don’t like few things in the similar, existing plugin and created my own plugin.I got  "does not align with our guidelines under the section business sense". I analyzed “business sense” section, provided my thought to each point. I fixed “probable issue” and submitted it again, not approved. I shared a video example, how my plugin works. You could not achieve it with any existing Figma functionality or any existing Figma plugins.The all that I got "does not align with our guidelines under the section business sense", which is useless. The guidelines say “If your plugin or widget has been rejected, we'll send you an email with our determination. You may submit your plugin or widget again for review after addressing any feedback.”. But support answer is not a determination and is not a feedback that could be used.

My Figma Education Plan was renewed about one month ago, and everything was working normally. However, today my plan suddenly changed to the Free plan even though the renewal date has not ended yet.Is there any usage limit on the Figma Education Plan? 

Hi I just experienced my figma running slow especially when moving, copy-pasting, and deleting components. I have clear the cache browser, reset, checking internet connections and reset & restarting the desktop app but despite all the efforts it’s still slow and laggy on both chrome browser and desktop app.I’m running figma in Macbook Pro M4 Pro 13” updated to MacOS Tahoe 26.1.This is not an issue before this, just happened last week after new update.Need some support help regarding this issue. I have paid for a Professional Full Seat license at £14 a month and I am unable to toggle and use the Design tools bar at the bottom of the sheet on slides and edit a doc my colleague set up. I also can't use the tools when I set up my own slide. Does anyone have any ideas why this tool work? I contacted support with the problem at 5.30pm yesterday and have still not had a human response or useful Tech bot one. Thanks!

I didn’t find the configuration details in the documentation for configuring Figma Dev Mode MCP servers in Intellij IDEs like Webstorm, Pycharm . is it not supported yet?

Hello community, Currently, when I create strokes icons, I use the tool corner radius to change independently each rounded corner. But if I reduce the size of my icon, the rounded corners remain the same and do not adjust. I would like to convert it into an anchor point with the wrists. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, so I've included an example. At the moment, I use copy as SVG and paste on the right click menu but maybe an other solution more convenient exist. How do you do it ?  

I noticed that after the last update some of my nested components are broken in sizing/scaling. I would reload my library after publishing and half the instance across various screens would take off. Specifically the components are getting bigger somehow. For instance this image component, nested in a product card, should be as is in the version on the bottom, after reloading the component from the ds library the image is bigger. Or the stamp in the footer is correctly inserted in the beige space in DS itself but as an instance it seems to enlarge quite a bit. This happens with images, icons, other assets like stamps etc. It seems that it needs me to manually redo everything now (copy-pasting from DS library, editing etc) and i do not have that type of time/budget for this big of a project.
