I made a website on Figma, and I got a message asking how much of a restriction it is.

Hi Figma Community,I recently tried to redeem a Figma offer, but I received the message: “Verification Limit Exceeded.” I haven’t used this offer before, and I’m not sure why this message appeared.Could someone kindly guide me on how to resolve this issue or safely try the offer again? Any official steps or tips would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for your help!

This window has popped up on all my projects, what should I do about it?

Hi! I’m having a billing issue related to an old Collab subscription on this account, and I can’t solve it on my own because the Billing panel is no longer visible.Here’s the full context: A couple of months ago, my Education access expired, so I subscribed to the Collab plan on this account (using this same personal email). I subscribed thinking it would include Figma Design, but I later realized it only gave me access to FigJam and Slides. Because of that, I canceled the Collab plan a few days after subscribing. On the cancellation screen, I saw a message saying that I would still be able to use the paid features until a specific date in the following month. After that, I applied again for the Education plan, my request was approved, and my account/workspace was migrated back to Education.

 Can you guys fix this? These lines are so distracting when I’m trying to work. This is in the web app. The dark line in light mode has been there for over a year I think. The bright line in dark mode just showed up today I think. 

Hi! I’ve been having trouble getting my Figma account back to an Education account, even though SheerID confirmed that I re-verified my account on September 11 (Verification ID: 68c1ab53f897ce280a8b5dff), which was before the September 29 deadline. SheerID mentioned that since the verification on their side was approved, the issue now lies specifically with the offer redemption process on Figma's side.I’ve sent education@figma.com several emails since about my issue, but I never received a reply. I’d really appreciate any help to be able to re-access Figma Education for my student work! Thank you in advance. 

Selected color in spec file appears as black but also appearing as white in the main color file? How can i mitigate this bug? 

Hey! my old account is ysharm21@student.scad.edu and I lost access since I graduated, i’ve tried connecting back to the support team regarding the access to it, they said once you graduate after a certain period u lose the access, wasnt aware of it, and I have all my portfolio data on it. is it possible to get data transferred to my new account on yashsharma4641@gmail.com. I tried chatting through bot and it said I have student plan and it wont help me since its only available for paid user :(

I'm experiencing an issue with the Figma MCP server where annotations are not being recognized by Figma AI. I believe this is related to how annotations are handled within component instances and nested structures. Since our design system follows an atomic design approach and composes components using other components, annotations placed within inner components are not visible to the MCP server. The annotations appear to be hidden when they exist inside component instances, as Figma doesn't expose nested instance annotations unless working with the original master component directly.Please advise if there are plans to enhance the MCP server's ability to access nested component annotations, or if there are recommended ways to add annotations in atomic design systems to ensure they work well with the MCP server.

So, in principle, if an instance is inside of another component, changing the variant causes the text to reset back to the text of the master component. This also happens with other properties of the instance, e.g. if you set some booleans up they will be reset to how they were set in the master component once the variant is changed via variable. Hello,I am reaching out because I’ve been experiencing a recurring issue in Figma when exporting images. For quite some time now, exported files (PNG, sometimes JPG) often display a thin white border around the visuals, even though: my frames are properly aligned to the pixel grid, dimensions are set to whole numbers (no decimals), and no extra background is applied. This issue does not appear to be related to the viewer display (I tested across different software), but to the export process itself.Today, I lost over 4 hours of work trying to resolve this problem (recreating frames, exporting at 2x/3x, checking the pixel grid, etc.), without finding a reliable fix. This is extremely disruptive to my workflow and directly impacts the quality and timing of my deliverables.Could you please let me know if this issue is known to your team, and whether a definitive solution or update is planned?

Por meio dela, acessava as funcionalidades do Figma.Porém, estou recebendo a mensagem de que o meu status de educação foi expirado:  Quando eu tento atualizar a minha verificação de estudante, recebo uma mensagem de que o Limite de verificações foi excedido e que eu já resgatei essa oferta. Porém, o meu curso vai até 2027 (as declarações de matrícula são renovadas a cada semestre). Agora estou bloqueada e só tenho acesso às features básicas do Figma. Como posso fazer para recuperar meu acesso? Me

I’m using a MacBook Pro (M1), and for the last two days I’ve been experiencing a severe delay when cutting or pasting objects in Figma. Each action takes around 20–30 seconds to apply. This makes it very difficult to work and breaks my workflow.This issue is specific to Figma — other apps respond normally.Please help diagnose what might be causing the slowdown and how to fix it.

Hello Figma Team, I’m a student from Northeastern University, Boston campus. I’m having a bit of an issue verifying my student account for Figma, even though I have official information to verify my status, and now exceeded the number of attempts.  I looked up multiple forum posts about similar cases as mine, and the advice I read is to contact SheerID support directly & ask them to reset my attempts. I followed the troubleshooting steps that Ariadna provided for me, but I still don’t have student access :(

I lost two extremely important Files after my last request here which was about the edu-status being available for my Gmail (this is my business related account) instead my student account I requested the edu status to be removed from my Gmail and added to my educational Uni mail. The files are missing on my Gmail account. One was related to my book keeping as freelancer and the other was the design of my new website. I checked deleted but they’re not there. Also I would never ever delete these files myself.Looking forward to help here since I am quite lost doing business without these Files. Thank you. I also remember the filenames :)

Hi all,I'm working on a web app that needs to work on a touch screen (most likely tablet-size). For the environment it will be used in, it's extra important that text stays readable and interactive elements are easy to touchTo get a feel for this, I have a tablet with a 1900 x 1200 resolution, 10.1 inch screen size and 224 pixels per inch, to try out prototypes of the screens with the Figma mobile app. The designs I make are also in 1900 x 1200 frames. When I open a Figma prototype in the mobile app, it gives 2 options for scaling the content: Fixed or Responsive.For reference, please see attachmed images below (these are not the actual screens from the web app as I cannot share those).When I view the designs on the canvas on my desktop at 100%, sizes look fine to me.On the tablet, this is also the case when I set the content scale to Responsive (image A). This adds a strange blank area to the right and bottom that I can scroll to by the way.

I am having trouble importing a plugin from a manifest file in the desktop app. Clicking ‘Import plugin from manifest’ doesn’t open a directory. Please see the attached screenshot

Example of what teachers get when they try to renew their education plan​​​​Hello Figma team, I’m an IT admin in my school and we are teaching Figma since last year. Everything was working fine until this year when I had to renew the Education licence. I did renew mine but everytime I invite teachers and students in the school team, they can’t verify their emails. SheerID keeps saying that they already tried verifing or that they can’t verify at all. Can someone from the Figma team check what’s is happening with SheerID ? Thanks

Hi,I need urgent assistance. I created a full interactive dashboard prototype in Figma Make, then added a homepage and login structure. When I tried to edit a single section on the homepage using Point to edit, the platform deleted the entire project except for the edited div.My website, dashboard, and two weeks of work are completely gone.I cannot revert the changes because the entire file structure and codebase were deleted — there is nothing to restore on my end.I urgently need to know if you have any versioning or backup system that can recover the project immediately. I was scheduled to present this to investors today, and this loss is critical.I contacted support three days ago but still haven't received a response.Support ticket: 1629841Please escalate this and help me retrieve the project as so

 Hi. I am having an issue opening my project files in Figma. Before, it took a little longer, but now it happens very quickly; I do not even open the file and the message already appears. Hello,I am trying to obtain a student plan in Figma, but I am facing repeated issues with the verification process. My student ID card is in Polish because I study at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Poland. I submitted the front and back of my student card several times, but the verification failed each time due to an error.I have already contacted SheerID, the company responsible for the verification process, and created a support ticket. However, I previously had a negative experience with SheerID when trying to verify my student account, so I would kindly like to ask for assistance from the Figma moderation team.This student plan is very important for me to complete my university work and finish my final projects. I would be extremely grateful for any help or intervention to resolve this issue.Thank you in advance.
