We're seeing a consistent HTTP 500 from https://www.figma.com/embed?embed_host=share&url=... when the viewer's browser is logged into Figma. Same embed URL, same file:Logged out → works Logged in → 500Repro is just: open a prototype embed iframe while logged in to Figma on the affected account. The 500 happens during what looks (from devtools) like an internal refreshOnReadyForEmbed reload triggered by the auth-aware code path.Reproducible across Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Setting iframe.credentialless = true (Chrome only) avoids it by stripping cookies, but breaks Figma's password-protected file form, so it isn't a viable general fix.Could someone from Figma confirm and/or give an ETA on a fix? Figma is constantly changing the content layout, components size, texts, and missing icons.In order to fix it I have to give attention to the element (click on it) or even to fix the components size and text again and again. It can happen multiple times per day on the same file.It’s becoming super frustraiting! Especialy when I send the design for review/approval and the elements are off. Thus, I receive comments that something is missing or off.

Figma archive file is too large to open and it keeps crashing 

I’m working with Figma Variables and trying to understand how variable references behave across collections and modes.I currently have two variable collections:Tier 2 (semantic tokens) Tier 3 (component-specific tokens)Both collections have two variable modes/themes:Mode 1 (default) Mode 2Here’s my issue:Inside the Tier 3 collection, I want to reference a variable from the Tier 2 collection — but specifically the value from Mode 2, not the default mode.However, when I create a reference in Tier 3 to a Tier 2 variable, Figma seems to only reference/show the default mode value from Tier 2.My questions are:Is it possible to explicitly reference a specific mode from another collection? If mode-to-mode mapping is required, what is the correct setup to ensure Tier 3 Mode 2 pulls from Tier 2 Mode 2?

I’m updating a shared design library to add slots. I previously had placeholder “slots” that I’m now replacing with the new/actual slots feature. When I replace the placeholder with a slot, the publishing menu is not triggering a change to enable me to publish the library updates.I’ve tried changing other parts of the same component to trigger a change (e.g., add new lines of text, change font size/weight), but nothing seems to trigger a change. I made updates to another component in the library and it did trigger a change, however, my previous changes are not reflected in this update, so I still cannot publish the slot changes I made (which is my goal). I’ve tried reloading tabs multiple times as well, but nada.See video for more context:

I’m opening this ticket because the Figma AI feature for renaming layers is not working. The issue has been happening for at least one week. When I click on the feature, a loader appears, and after a few moments the following error message is displayed: “Something went wrong. When I first load my presentation into presenter mode on figma slides, and I transistion from one slide to the next there is what seems like a 3 second delay on one of my smart animations, but if after this bug happens, I move back a slide and try again, there is no delay and it work perfectly!I really can not have this delay happen while presenting on stage!If you need a video I can submit one.

So I’m using Figma Make to develop an app, have been working on it for months now and everything has been going really well so far. I was backing up to Github and then pushing to Vercel to deploy to my app, was great, everything working smoothly, I had testers working on it and surprised at how it was running so well.That was until the 22nd April (Sydney time) Figma Make decided to move all my files from the /src/ folder to a brand now /src/app/ folder without any notice and my deployments started breaking. It took me a while, but comparing github commits and noticing there was a huge file list in one of them being moved, I finally figured out the root cause of the problem. In the meantime I had tried to get Figma Make to move everything back, but the root cause of the problem was that Figma Make, no matter what work was done on the entrypoints and other import paths, etc, was ALWAYS pointing to the new structure of /src/app/.I considered starting from scratch and had

Hi,I've been looking into this for a while now, and I haven't seen this issue reported anywhere.Since 3-4 days, when I have a component with nested components inside, if I ever try to create variants of this main components, it resets the inner components interaction.Example : Simple component, the interactions on the nested components works as intended. If I add a variant property to this component, whatever it is, the inner components interactions gets reset, and try to access its main component??I never had this problem before but since it started it occurs on all of my projects…The “reset component state” box is unchecked.I do have Figma’

Hi, I just got the budget approved to buy my ticket for Config 2026 (my boss was able to get his 2 days ago). I just tried to purchase one, but now it is sold out. I am trying to connect to MCP dev server to Claude from the Desktop app, and I just don’t see the option anywhere. I looked all over in Preferences, and I tried clicking Shift + D in my project to toggle the interface, and nothing happens. I’m not seeing the toolbar at the bottom either. I have a full seat in this project, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I updated to the latest server, and even tried the beta app just in case. Any thoughts?

Figma Make keep creating content which you can’t see. The preview version button doesn’t do anything. 8/10 I have to say I can’t see what you did and then it works.
