First of all — huge fan of Figma Make. It’s an amazing product, our whole studio’s been obsessed with it since day one. But right now we’ve hit a major roadblock that completely stopped our workflow 😬The issue is with the “Import from Figma” feature in Figma Make simply doesn’t work.When you click the button — absolutely nothing happens (no error, message no loading, no import)— tested it on several different accounts — restarted and reinstalled the app — tried using it via browser and in new files it’s literally blocking our entire studio’s workflow. Please help us fix thislove

Hi all, I canceled my subscription last month but still got charged today. I’ve sent a form through but does anybody know if they do reply to those forms? Also does anybody know how long it would take for the money to come back? It’s $22 but I am still a low income student.😅

I’ve run into a strange issue in Figma. Every time I launch the app and click on a text layer, it seems to “remember” that font’s predefined weights. Then, when I try to edit another text with a different font, the weight options from the first font are still displayed. If I try to change the weight, nothing happens.For instance, if I open Figma, select a text with the SF Pro font, and then create a new text layer using Comic Sans, the weight list still shows SF Pro’s options. Has anyone experienced something like this? And if so, is there any known fix?FYI, I’ve already tried reinstalling Figma, editing in the web version, and working in a different draft but the problem still remains. Moreover, it looks like all my drafts and projects were affected, so creating a new draft and trying it there doesn’t help either. 

When I try to share the Figma Make file I get these exclamation icons next to the can edit dropdown menu and it says an admin must update this seat so they can edit but I added one of the people who have the exclamation icons next to their permissions to my team? And we’re all on educational accounts and I really need to be able to collaborate on the website we made to do our final T_T please help

I'm encountering an issue in Figma Make where I tried to undo changes by restoring previous versions.  However, each attempt results in a "reasoning" or "try again" notification, and nothing seems to change. I'm now stuck and unable to revert or move forward.Has anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions on how to resolve it or force a reset to a stable or even published version?

I couldn't verify using our school email even though our school is listed in the school list—it throws an error. I've emailed SheerID support, filled out their support form, and done everything possible, but I can see now that Figma and SheerID are not respecting our time and not taking our concerns seriously. To give them a taste of their own medicine, if you're facing all these similar issues, let's review them on G2 and Trustpilot with 0 stars. This is my last option. I emailed Figma Education and Support with all the necessary documents that show we're a government school in Nepal. I'll ask my whole school's students to review them, and we'll see how they feel about it. as title, I’m trying to use my published library in a Figma Make project, but the export for Figma Make dialog does not pop up. Also when I click Import From Figma in Make, it does nothing. Tried closing the app and reopen but still the same. I’m on a pro education plan. Is this feature available for me? thank you

Hi! «Import from Figma» button does nothing I have a Full Seat accounts and this button since yesterday stopped responding in both desktop app and web version of Figma, in any file — new or oldI just press it and it does nothing in any file How can I fix it?   

We’ve noticed that in our organization, the “Share” feature under a Project doesn’t display the full list of members. It seems like the team member list is not synced or updated to include the latest members. Because of this, when we add new members to the organization, they still can’t directly see existing Projects. We have to manually invite them by email each time, which is quite inconvenient. Could someone confirm if this is a known issue or if there’s a workaround? Thanks! Our organization has 35 View Seats, 3 Dev Seats, and 23 Full Seats in total.However, when checking the Project’s “Share” member list, it only shows 34 members. 

Hi everyone,As deadline for re-verifying our Education status (29 September) is coming up, I’m very worried our team may not complete it in time, which could impact ongoing design projects. Our issue: VUS (Vietnam-USA Society English Centers) does not appear in the Vietnam academic institutions list during the SheerID verification step. Because of this, we cannot proceed with re-verification for Figma Education. I submitted a support ticket to SheerID last week asking to have VUS added to the schools list. However, the response I received did not resolve the issue (screenshot attached).SheerID Customer Support responseHas anyone faced a similar problem, or does anyone know the best way to resolve this quickly? I’ve created a project in Figma, and it’s working fine—I can also view the React code. However, when I tried to export and run it on my local system, I noticed that a required file, package.json, is missing.Could you please guide me on how to properly run this project locally? I already have the necessary technologies installed on my system.

Download code buttonI spotted the "Download Code" option in the upper right corner of the editor, but I noticed that there is no "package.json" file. Is there any documentation or a way to run these projects locally using my own IDE?

I’m having a bit of trouble with the ‘Manage libraries’ modal since I updated to Tahoe on Mac, and the latest Figma update. What used to happen: On the ‘Manage libraries’ modal there’s a list of components that can be updated. You would click on one of the rows and the modal content would change to ‘Review updates’ for that component. The back button would change the modal content back to ‘Manage libraries’.What happens now: When you click on one of the rows on the ‘Manage libraries’ modal, the ‘Review updates’ opens in a modal behind it. This seems like a bug as it is hidden by the ‘Manage libraries’ modal which stays open. If you click a different component to update, another ‘Review updates’ modal opens. The result is multiple ‘Manage libraries’ and ‘Review updates’ windows, it feels like a bit of a mess. Anyone else have this issue?

I have been using the Figma Make AI from 5th September 2025 and used it for few days like till 14th September 2025 or so, But now it shows that the credits will refresh at 1st October 2025. I thought there is only daily limit of how many prompts you can make per day, not how many days you can use in month as well. My project is been on hold since my Credits haven’t been refreshed yet.  

I am conducting a useability study and would like to record the click path my participants use when interacting with the lo-fi prototype.Is there a way to have it automatically record whenever anyone interacts with it? I have no control on the specific time they choose to view it.Thanks.

Hey everyone,I updated Figma this morning and everything was working fine for a few hours, then suddenly it just stopped letting me select anything. I can’t click on objects, frames, or even use the hand tool to pan around. It’s like the whole canvas becomes unresponsive.At first I thought it was just a glitch - I restarted my Mac and that seemed to fix it temporarily. But it’s happened again, and this time restarting or reloading Figma doesn’t help at all. I even tried switching from my pen tablet to a mouse in case it was a hardware issue, but the problem persists.Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Restarted the Figma app Reloaded the file Restarted my Mac (temporary fix) Switched input devices (pen tablet → mouse) Nothing seems to work, and I’m basically stuck - can’t select, move, or pan anything.System: macOS 26.0.1 Apple M1 Ultra Figma desktop app (latest version, updated today) This is extremely frustrating and blocking my work - has anyone else run into this? I was reviewing the Figma MCP server guide, and it mentions that the MCP Client can be requested by submitting details through the https://form.asana.com/?k=kBG-ejRQTdY8x_H6a4vM3Q&d=10497086658021 form.Could you kindly confirm if this is the correct process to obtain access to the MCP Client? I want to access the Figma MCP Server from our own Oauth client credentials. 

Greetings fellow Figma users! Last week I designed a social media post for a client using Montserrat as the main font. Today I was designing another one for them, so I copied the text boxes to another Frame. As soon as I selected them with the text editing tool the appearance of the font changed.These are all NOT locally installed Google fonts, so it might be related to an update on the library of Google fonts, or Figma’s for that matter. I tried to verify this with the Way Back Machine, although the website snapshots aren’t loading properly. Has anyone identified something like this before? if so, how can it be fixed?Thanks in advance! 😁 The image shows 2 groups of texts written with the typeface “Montserrat”, exemplifying how its appearance changed from October the 1st to the 11th, 2025. 

Hello Figma,I’m a student at the University of California, Irvine. I’ve been stopped by SheerID’s verification process over and over, and I use Figma for school and work-- so this has been a pretty big issue. I entered all my details, but was told to retry until it said it exceeded. I filed a ticket with SheerID.  SheerID closed my case, saying they “were unable to process the request.” There seems to be no other solution but to contact them. This loop has been quite irritating. Please reach out to me soon so I can quickly amend this issue.
