Hello Figma Support Team,I was recently removed from a team workspace. Before my removal, I created several files within my personal profile space (Drafts). I have never shared these files with anyone, as they contain my private work and intellectual property.Currently, these files have disappeared from my dashboard. When I attempt to access them via direct links, I receive the following error: "Current location: Another user's Drafts. You can’t move files that are in another person's Drafts."I am highly concerned about the privacy of my data. Since these files are strictly my personal property, I explicitly request that the team administrator is not given access to them and cannot move them from the unassigned drafts archive.Please permanently transfer these files back to my own isolated Personal Workspace where I can safely access them.Thank you for your prompt assistance in securing my data.
Hi! I am experiencing an issue with keyframe creation in Figma Motion.The playhead appears to be positioned exactly on an existing keyframe, but when I change a property, Motion sometimes creates another keyframe about 0.001 seconds earlier. As a result, two nearly identical keyframes are created next to each other.This is difficult to notice and can cause unexpected animation behavior. It would be helpful if Motion snapped the playhead more reliably to existing keyframes and updated the selected keyframe instead of creating a new one a fraction of a millisecond earlier.

After I updated a component in my component library file, all the instances in all other files has turned into an empty frame without any content. It seems if I create a new file, it works fine. But for all my other existing files, there is now just an empty purple box. There are no layers in it. The main component is fine, with content and layers. The only thing I changed on it was auto layout-issues. How do I avoid having to create new instances in all my files, or create new files for all my files?
Hello,I seem to have 310 credits in my AI balance but am unable to use Figma Make. The textbox to type is disabled and there is a banner saying i’m out of credits, but the AI Balance clearly says 310 credits left. This happens on both desktop and web. I’ve tried reloading the tab too.any help woudl be appreciated. thank you!
Search response time is extremely long and often times renders Figma unresponsive. I can't cancel the serach, have to close and reopen files.This is extremely frustrating. I'm working in an organization of 50+ our designers with a quite an extensive design system.There are a lot of files that have to be searched for preceding patterns. The type of patterns that other designers have designed in the past before I joined the projects.I also have to search a lot through existing design system documentation which is made of Figma slides and Figma template and component libraries.Searching through these files is extremely painful. The reason is it takes so much Time to load search results.At times the search just doesn't respond at all. I have to close the file, then reopen the file and then try to search again. That’s not only is very distracting, but also takes a huge lot of time.A simple text search shouldn't take that much time.
When a component uses properties to control nested instances inside a slot e.g. color, overriding any properties of the nested instance e.g. a text property, causes the parent component's properties to stop cascading into it. The only recovery path is a full instance reset, which wipes any existing overrides in the process.As a result, for all components where parent properties control nested slot instances, the new slots feature cannot be adopted within our design system. In a component with a slot containing multiple items, changes to the items stop propagating in the instance once any individual item within that instance has been manually overridden.Consider a menu component containing a slot with menu-item components. At some point, I use that menu component by instantiating it inside another component — say, a menu-app — which then appears across multiple views. I want any changes made to the menu-items to propagate to all those instances, keeping every view consistent. And this works as expected, until I make any change to any of the menu-items within the instance. I could understand that manually overriding a specific item in a slot prevents changes from propagating to that same item — I could live with that. But the problem goes further: changing anything on any item — such as its position in the stack (which is critical if I ever decide to reorder the menu items) — completely breaks propagation of any slot-level changes across the board.
Hi, all my libraries are facing the same issues: when I try to publish the changes, the modal appears, I press the “publish” button, but than nothing happens. It doesn’t work either with single components. I tried closing Figma, with the app, with browser but nothing changes. I am pretty sure there are no problems with my components. What could it be? It seems to be connected to my account, since I don’t face the same problem in client’s files.

CMND + OPTN + C and then CMND + OPTN + V not making desired results (I use it for boldening and coloring particular text just in some on-page notes i make). it happened before latest release, was hoping that update would resolve but no dice. on a Mac running 15.7.7 (pre apple silicon, but to my knowledge this issue should not be caused by that) -can anyone else confirm on newer or same/older mac, running desktop app btw, that the issue is happening for them as well?
Apparently, I’m running an online contest and I relied on Figma Motion as the on-screen graphic. Now the way the animation works is that I tend to use preset animations (e.g. opacity, position). For example, a simple text would have an entrance and an exit animation, consist of Opacity + Position > wait > Opacity + Position. There are two Opacity to allow smooth entrance and exit. Now everything works fine, until one day when Figma Motion started to break down. Figma Motion only accept one opacity per element, according to my testing, and only if the animation start at 0s then it will work fine. Delaying the animation will result to the element being exposed before its initial animation. I will also attach a “before everything crashes” video and a “testing crashed” video. I appreciate your attention, and to hope this issue will be fixed asap.

On my Figma paid plan, I didn't know that giving a team member edit permission would incur extra charges. I granted edit access and then immediately revoked it, but I was still charged this time. Hi,Over de last few weeks our team is experiencing more and more inconvenient and work impeding bugs in Figma. Over the last few days we’ve been struggling to find workarounds for instances for which the ‘Variants could not be loaded’. It’s really awkward and unreliable if we design something and random things cause the designs to change. To name some that really affect our collaboration with other teams:Instances of components sometimes appear empty (this seems to be related to slots?). Changing properties for components with slots no longer work if the content within the slots was edited. Placement of layers seems ‘off’, until the layer is selected and automatically restores its placement. Instances of components that are inserted (Shift + i) are completely empty and void of layers. Copying main components from our spec files to our UI kit causes the variants to become duplicated within resulting in twice the number of variants and causing conflicts. I’m trying to find a plugin for exporting variables. I was very happy with Variables2css because it has alias fallbacks. But it won’t run at all if the file has extended collections. I then went down a wormhole trying to find another plugin, but all of the ones I tried (i must have tried like 6 of them) return “0 variables” or otherwise empty for the extended collections. I wanted to use Figma’s native export but it only outputs JSON, not CSS.
Hello! It seems like this menu for Easing in the Interaction popup has slightly changed style – it now looks like its own window and can be dragged around etc.However one regression I noticed compared to when it was a simple dropdown menu is that shortcuts from the keyboard no longer work. Usually on these kinds of dropdown menus, you can type the first letter(s) of the menu item and it will automatically select it. Then you can hit [Enter] or [Space] on your keybaord and it will automatically select that option. This behavior is seen on all dropdown menus in the style of the 2nd image (in this case, the Trigger menu) Woudl love to be able to keep using my keyboard because its often faster to type the option then to use my trackpad/mouse, find the relevant item, and then click it If you have any questions or need clarifications let me know.thank you!
