Hello, I have seen this issue quite a few times in the forum (locked out of Figma account that is tied to school email that can no longer be accessed) and was unable to get a response after I opened a support ticket, so here I am seeking help for this issue.The workaround that is suggested by Support staff on this forum (email forwarding) is not an option for me unfortunately.Thank you!

These icons are used in different sizes across the product (16px, 24px, etc.). The master components of each icon and glyph contain elements which are all set to ‘scale’.However, within our larger components, whenever we want to swap an instance of an icon with a different one from our library, the scaling (of dimensions, stroke width, and border radius) is not properly applied, resulting in a broken view. One example is:We have a nested icon component scaled to 16x16px; We replace the instance with another icon from either library (original component of which is 24x24 but all elements set to scale) and expect it to scale properly to the 16x16 dimensions. Hi!My team has noticed an odd behavior. We share prototype links with clients and internal stakeholders all the time and have been moving designs between pages and the URL’s we’ve shared have been linking to the correct design for a while now. Our workflow for a specific client is to have designs on a page for internal review, and once internally approved move the design to another page for external review with client. We use the move to feature to keep the comments and linking like it should be doing. We’ve noticed if we share the link via the prototype (play and then click the share button) the link resolved when the design has been moved to the other page. When I use find and replace, the text I use for replacement always gets the first letter capitalized. Example below:Find: “sample text”replace: “example content”“This is the paragraph with the sample text.” will get updated to “This is the paragraph with the Example content.”The typography style is set as “Case: As typed” Is this a bug or is there a different reason this is happening?

I would like to use Figma Make to prompt the creation of slides that I can use for a presentation. Usually what is first generates is in the right direction, but I want to be able to then edit directly on the slides (i.e. without vibe coding). Is that possible? If so, do I need to move it into Slides first? How do I do that? Thanks! 

The After Delay interaction has suddenly stopped working in all of my Figma projects. I’ve been doing a form mockup using the Atlassian Design system, and I’ve encountered the following error when viewing it as a prototype, involving the drop down menu element.The field looks normal before hovering over it.It shrinks to this width when I hover.It returns to the correct width when clicking, but the text in the field defaults back to the default text that the component has when you first place it.I’ve tried switching the states to define the width as “Fill” for each of them, but it doesn’

I can’t seem to find a way to turn off the red measurement tool. If I go to View > Hide UI it does remove it, but it also removes other side navigation components that I need available.   

Hello guys, I’m trying to activate the Figma Education plan but I’m stuck:  Attempting to verify shows “Verification Limit Exceeded.” I reached out to SheerID, and they responded they were unable to process my request and that the ticket is permanently closed. So I can’t retry from their side.  I also tried to email Figma education team but still got no response at this point.  Thank you so much   

 I have submitted K-12 education EDU verification several time with no response. I did this immediately when I was first notified and also 2 more times over several months and I have received no response. I have spoken to other teachers in my district who have also experienced this same issue.!--a=1-->

Hey, what happened with cropping raster image? Previously function worked as simple as holding Ctrl and dragging the edge. Now it crops from both sides. Do you have a new Art Director, Figma? Please fire him asap!

I’m experiencing a persistent copy–paste issue in Figma.Whenever I copy frames or components from Figma Make to a Figma Design project, the layout gets distorted — spacing changes, auto-layout breaks, and typography styles don’t map correctly.If anyone has faced this and found a reliable solution, please share. This is slowing down my workflow, especially when combining Make explorations with production-ready design files.

I am not able to publish plugin for free on figma community as on “Add Final Details” tab there is one mandatory Price field which is disables and no option is visble to turn off the Price field, so I am stuck on that last stage not able to move forward, can anyone help me? in manage plugin next to it only "Development" is written and I have all the code files in my local machine

Hello Figma Support team,I’m experiencing a serious issue with a Community file and I don’t understand how this is supposed to work.I had a file published in Figma Community with existing stats (likes, views, copies).At some point, multiple files with the same name, cover, and content appeared in my Drafts.I did not intentionally duplicate the file — they looked identical and had no indication which one was the Community source.While cleaning up Drafts, I deleted one of the files that appeared to be a duplicate.After that, the Community file disappeared from Figma Community.Now I have two remaining files:- both look identical to the original- both show the message: “Files duplicated from Community cannot be published”- neither can be published or updated in CommunityI cannot find any file that Figma considers the original Community source.Both remaining files are blocked, and the Community post is gone.

Hi,  Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere - couldnt find it.  I’ve made a Figma Site in my Professional account. I now need to transfer this Figma Site over to their Professional account so they can edit, add cms entries, publish etc from their account.  This is relatively straightforward in webflow - but i’m struggling to see how to do it in Figma. Surely its possible?? note: I appreciate I can download the fig file and send, but it wont include the CMS collections. Surely theres a way of transfering the Figma Site and its CMS collections to a different user account?
