 Hello Figma team,I opened a support ticket 3 days ago but have not received a response yet.Ticket ID: #1901080I need help with an accidental billing issue on my account.On 13-May-2026, a payment was made for a Dev Seat by mistake. I also noticed that I may have accidentally upgraded/added a Full Seat, which appears to have been added to the next invoice as well. I did not intend to keep or use these paid seats.I already contacted support and explained that the payment/seat change was made by mistake, but the ticket is still open with no reply.Could someone from the Figma billing/support team please review this case and help with either:refunding the accidental Dev Seat payment, and removing/refunding the accidentally added Full Seat from the next invoice, if applicable.I understand Figma’s payments may normally be non-refundable, but

As shown in the screenshot, I have already cancelled my Figma subscription, yet invoices for extra seats are still generated.I have fully paid the full invoice for my Figma plan before. Due to repeatedly switching subscription plans back and forth multiple times, a lot of unnecessary seats that I never used and do not need were added to my account. I think this billing rule is unreasonable. Could you please charge fees based on actual usage instead of requiring seat purchases?My request is to completely cancel my subscription and waive the invoice for next month. 

It seems overly difficult to export transparent png’s. Despite advice on making sure frame and background fills are hidden or removed entirely, I’m still getting grey backgrounds. Sometimes grouping elements together and exporting only those groups work - but my naming conventions get out of whack. Please make it easier to control transparencies on frames or export settings.  

Hello Figma Support,I am following up regarding my cancellation and refund request submitted 5 days ago.I would like to strongly request an immediate refund of USD 16.50 for the unexpected charge made to my account after my plan was changed without clear confirmation or approval from me.I never received a proper email notification, warning, or confirmation that my plan would be upgraded or changed before the charge was processed. I was very surprised to suddenly see the additional payment taken from my account. If I had been clearly informed beforehand, I would not have agreed to the plan change and would have cancelled immediately.As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted support and requested both cancellation and refund on the same day. Hi everyone,I was on an Education plan and was downgraded to Starter. I am trying to transfer a design to a new user. The file ownership was transferred from a designer Poonam to me, but the file still shows as being in Poonam’s Drafts. When I select Move, I get the message: ‘You can’t move files that are in another person’s Drafts.’ We mainly need to preserve the design; preserving comments would be helpful but is not required.Thanks

When importing images directly into Figma Make, for some reason some of the images were directly linked in the form of src=”/src/imports/imagename.png” instead of using an import at the top of the page and then linking to the imported asset, eg: import importedImage from “@/imports/imagename.png”…<imgsrc={importedImagge}alt="This is the image"className="h-full object-contain"/>This only occurred for newly-added images. Images directly linked via the img tag’s src attribute are not processed during the build and do not end up correctly linked in the final distribution (dist) output. Fix was to manually edit the code where any images were referenced in the img src attribute and import them same as other assets.

I subscribed to Figma and paid $20 expecting monthly AI credits, as advertised. Recently, I discovered that Figma has changed this system to a daily limit instead, which significantly reduces the value of what I paid for. This change was not clearly communicated, and it feels unfair to existing subscribers who signed up under different terms. Has anyone else experienced this, and how is Figma addressing it?

I have a Figma Pro Plan, and now Claude is telling me that, “Figma puts a cap on how many MCP requests can be made in a given window. When that cap is hit, every call returns that error until it resets.”Where is this cap documented?  How can I tell when it will reset?  Why didn’t it mention “caps” when I paid for this membership?  This is holding up development now, and actually as a STOCK HOLDER in this company, I am not happpy about this at all.

This is an enormous issue as issues are creeping into client-facing designs. Figma has always been reliable as an atomic design tool, but overrides are resetting when I copy and page components within the same page or to new pages and I can’t catch all of them. This never used to happen, and it’s fundamental that it works. Our workflow has been developed utilising Figma’s capability as a design tool. That capability now seem unreliable, and it’s throwing my design team through a loop and clients are noticing. It’s been prevalent for about 4 months and goes unfixed while gimmicks like custom cursors get added and removed each week. This is something we have noticed across out whole team, whether on mac or Windows.

Figma just hit me with surprise charges and won't refund - anyone else?Ugh, I'm so frustrated right now. Figma basically scammed me out of $33.87 and their support is being useless about it.What went down: We're a tiny team, only need 2 seats. But somehow our June bill had these random "new seat costs" for $33.87 that I never asked for. Like... what?The breakdown:2 Full seats (what we actually use): $40 ✓ Mystery charges: $33.87 ❌Figma's excuse: "Oh you approved it!" - umm no I didn't? When?? Hi EveryoneI’ve been experiencing this issue for the last 3 days… I have a figjam board where I gather all relevant links to Figma files for a project I’m working on.. It was going fine, until it stopped pasting Figma link and create the Figma file widget.It loads for a few seconds, then nothing happens.  Link to Figma File widget exampleI though it was an issue due to the large size of my FigJam board, or the size of the Figma file I was linking. But no, it doesent work even with brand new boards and empty Figma files. Also refreshed the cache…. I am trying to design something where when I click one chip it becomes active and every other chip becomes inactive. I cannot achieve this no matter what I try. AI is telling me to write an expression in design mode; i cannot do this. This is for potentially hundreds of chips, I can’t make a variable for each one.Ideally I would like to do the following:In PROTOTYPE: When a chip is clicked, set a variable to that name. In DESIGN: In the instance, set its state to a condition, ie “if chipName == [this chip], make this active. Otherwise inactive:I cannot find any way to do this. Someone please help me. AI says that there should be a f(x) button in the assign variable dropdown in design mode but it’s not there, despite me being on a pro plan. 

An example :- i have a component set with 3 variants ( named v1 , v2 , v3 ) , here i connected the v1 to v2 and v2 to v3 keeping the v3 empty … whats happening is .. the v3 is somehow connects to v1 creating a  loop ! is this a Bug or something ? as i started to animate stuffs i found it out . or there has been an update about component loop ? . need help!!

We need some colleagues to work on the projects. Which seats should we purchase? Is it possible that the only option is the full seat at €800?Also, we need to return (transfer back) a project to its rightful owner, who has a free account. When the project was originally transferred to us, we thought they would still be able to edit it, but it turns out a full seat is required. Therefore, we would like to transfer it back.Luca

Hi Figma team,We previously contacted support to request reducing our annual seats from 12 to 4 before renewal, and also reported an unintended developer monthly seat charge.However, we have not received any response yet.Today, we received a new invoice that still includes:12 annual seats 1 developer monthly seatThis is incorrect, as we only require 4 annual seats.We have already replied to the billing support email thread with our account and organization details, but we would appreciate if someone from the billing/support team could help escalate and review this issue as soon as possible.Ticket already submitted via support email.Thank you.

Hello,I am currently unable to activate my Figma Education plan, even though my education status has already been approved by SheerID.During my first verification attempt, there was a technical issue and I deleted my Figma account because I thought restarting the process would solve it.My team is already on an Education plan, and everyone in the team except me currently has full edit access. On my side, Figma still displays a message saying that I need to verify my education status, and that my edit access will soon be restricted.SheerID has confirmed that my verification was approved and provided me with the related verification details.The issue is that when I try to verify again, I receive an error saying that I have exceeded the number of verification attempts for this email. SheerID says they cannot reset anything because, on their side, the verification is already approved. Figma support has not replied to my emails yet.So I am current

I was billed for something I didn’t accept and I’ve tried contacting support, however my tickets (except one that I made 5 days ago now) has been marked as solved by one of your employees.I re-opened the ticket which the figma-support chatbot told me to do, and it was AGAIN marked as solved without any reply by the same employee.Is it being marked as solved due to me having another ticket open? If that’s the case, please clarify that before marking it as solved. Also, from googling around it seems like support usually replies within 1-2 days and they still haven’t gotten back to me. How long does it usually take for a figma rep to actually look through your ticket and drafting a solution/response? This matter is quite urgent for me as it decides if I should keep using figma or change to a competitor.
