 I’m creating a screen in which the content under the upper section scrolls vertically until the end of the content. The vertical scrolling works, but the problem is that there’s a small pocket of space above the content that makes it scroll more than needed. This negative space isn’t in the content, nor in the frame, and I really don’t know where it comes from.  

Hi, as of today the button for Figma make in the toolbar is gone. Neither I nor my colleagues can access it anymore. You can still press actions and search for “Figma make”. But honestly it makes work a lot slower.

I work for a company that manages the design system for all public administration projects. The goal is to provide all consulting companies with a constantly updated design system library.However, I have discovered that outside the organisation, it is not possible to connect the library to the work files.I cannot allow the files to be copied because they would lose the updates and we would lose ownership of the files. How can we proceed? Any advice?I was thinking about projects connected between organisations, but there is a maximum of 15 per enterprise.

Everytime I leave Figma window to go to another window, I get this “New available font: Raleway” notifications. Why is this happening? How do i turn it off?

I opened a support ticket numbered #1572460 on Figma 7 days ago, but we haven’t received a response from anyone at Figma yet. Is there any way to get a reply from the support team?

In our organization, we have a Design System created in Figma and is used to develop applications in Web technologies and also in Microsoft WPF.The WPF team created a tool that access the API to get variables and create a ResourceDictionarys from them.Now the DS needed to got through a major restructuring of the variables, thus their names have changed but IDs stayed the same (no variables were deleted, and almost no new variables added) - a process that took about 6 months to complete.We tried to get the old variables via https://api.figma.com/v1/files/:file_key/variables/local?version=222…. (222. is the old version) in order to compare it with the current version in order to know which variables changed their names and what are the new names.What we see is that we get the same, current, variables in both calls.A year ago, or so, providing parameter of version would return the variables at that version.Was this feature deprecated?Is there an alternative way to get variables of a speci

I want to create a design system (a set of reusable UI elements like buttons, colors, icons, etc.) in Figma. How can I organize it and publish it so that when I make changes to a component, it automatically updates in all the Figma files that use it?

My team submitted a help ticket through their online portal, but haven’t heard back in over a week. It’s now an urgent issue that we need resolved asap, so hoping I can find a phone number or any other helpful contact information that helps to get a more immediate answer. Thanks! 

I have a tsx file that apparently has become so corrupt with duplicate code and other stuff figma had done, it no longer can use the file and wants to rebuild, but will lose a lot of functionality by doing this.  I was hoping a backup that figma must have someplace can be restored from?  If this was going to be an issue, then I would have downloaded copies myself.  I have to believe Figma keeps backups.  I only yesterdays backup restored.

Whenever I try to reference Figma, I always seem to get this error: Sorry, your request failed. Please try again. Reason: Request Failed: 400 {"error":{"message":"missing required Copilot-Vision-Request header for vision requests","code":""}} I’ve tried switching versions, Im using co-pilot and VS Code any ideas? 

I moved teams 8 months ago, and that required a workspace change. I thought files in my draft folder would come with me, but I seem to be missing all the files from my old team workspace, even though they were in my drafts. Can you please help?

Seemingly as of today’s update, pinned items within a project now only have a limited selection of actions available in their right-click context menu (Open, Create New Branch, Add to Sidebar, Remove Project Pin, Copy Link) but none of the others (Copy Link, Share, Duplicate, Show Version History, Rename, Move File, Move to Trash) even though those are in the menu if you find the original file. (i.e. it’s not a permissions problem removing those functions, they just aren’t in the menu for the pinned version) This appears to be the same in both the browser and in the desktop app. As part of our process, we create most new design files by duplicating a template file, which we keep pinned to the project so the team has easy access to it. With this update it’s no longer possible to duplicate (or do a bunch of other actions) from the pinned file, and instead you have to dig through the full list of files to find it in the general project list. Is there a reason this functionality was remove

Example, I made a component names “Navbar”and exported to Figma Make… Then I try to make it with something like this prompt… “Make a new Welcomepage with a navbar component”or… even added to the AI “Guidelines.md” like* Every page should has a Navbar on the top (use component Navbar, dont make your own navbar, use only component)  My result still not using the my own Navbar… What should I do? or Figma Make can not do this?

I’m a design student who uses Figma daily for coursework and campus activities. On October 16th, I changed the email on my account, prompting me to re-verify my education status. Upon trying to reverify, I was met with the same “Verification Limit Exceeded” error that others (1, 2, 3, etc.) have received lately.Following the advice given to this poster, I contacted SheerID support to resolve the issue. From our past week's correspondence (attached), it seems that SheerID is unable/unwilling to edit verification requests from their end, and that the root cause lies within Figma instead.I submitted a support request with Figma (attached as well), but received a seemingly-automated reply telling me Figma Education users were only able to seek support via the forum.I would appreciate any help in this matter, as I lack the funds to upgrade to a proper Figma plan, and this extended downtime is causing me to fall behind with my university. I didn’t find the configuration details in the documentation for configuring Figma Dev Mode MCP servers in Intellij IDEs like Webstorm, Pycharm . is it not supported yet?

UPDATE: The Update UI was showing me only the conflicting page before showing me that there were a bunch of other updates from the main file. This is a very non-intuitive UI!I’m working in a Figma branch and want to pull changes from the Main file (which I know have been made, but are not showing up as Updates). When I go to view ‘Updates available from main file’, it’s showing me the content of a page from my Branch and showing that that same content is also in the Main file, which it is not. On top of that, it’s not showing me the changes that have been made to the Main file (which I know are there).

My website (myhyroxplan.com), built with Figma Make, is not being indexed on Google because the sitemap ( https://myhyroxplan.com/sitemap.xml ) returns a 404 error. In my project, I have both a valid  sitemap.xml  file and a  robots.txt  file placed under the  /public  directory, correctly referencing the sitemap. However, this structure does not expose the sitemap to the public internet at the root URL, so Google Search Console cannot read it.Please advise how I can serve my  /public/sitemap.xml  file directly at  https://myhyroxplan.com/sitemap.xml  for proper indexing.Is there a supported method or workaround to enable static file hosting at the root, or is this a current limitation of Figma Make for custom domains? Thank you in advance for your support

After downloading my file everything takes awhile to download and its blurry. It is a PDF to send to potential employers so blurry and delayed photos cannot happen. Please help 

I’m working in Figma slides and I can use predefined variables and create my own. But I can’t edit them or find them anywhere in the current file, project or anywhere. How do we edit variables in Figma Slides? It works fine in figma designs within the same project and other projects, but I can’t even see published variables from other files or projects while working in figma slides. Please help someone, everyone, ANYONE!!!!

I’ve been using the embed feature to add my prototype to a website. It was working at first on both Wix and Squarespace (but I honestly don’t think it’s the website that is the issue), showing the prototype and frames for a specific page (desktop, mobile, and tablet). Everything interactable and working fine.But for some reason, when I go to copy the embed code (because I was changing background color and whatnot), the code is different and instead embeds the entire design file.I have been manually going in to the page, selecting the starting frame, presenting, and sharing/copying it from there, which has worked for me until recently.
