Ronny quit on 3/14/2026, and was the owner of these files. However, the files are completely missing now and our team no longer has access to their current project. Is there a way to see if he deleted them with malicious intent when he quit to spite the company. If not what happened to them?

I really wish there was a way to export my transcript from figma make. If I am a non technical user, I need to be able to extract this transcript from time to time, to give to another AI to help evaluate what I am doing, and to document my process. There is a lot to learn from the process.  For the past hour I have been trying to copy and paste the content, but that wont work either.  I highlight huge chunks of the convo, but the way the page is structured,  only 10% of what I highlight can i paste into a document. Its a real pain!  At least let your agent see the convo transcript so we can talk through what we made before ,and the agent can talk about different versions and see back into the project history!  

This has always been a pain point for me — whenever I need a logo from a website for a moodboard, competitive audit, or brand exploration, I end up digging through DevTools or screenshotting something blurry.I finally got frustrated enough to build a Chrome extension to solve it. It's called LogoFetch — it scans the active tab and surfaces every logo it finds (inline SVGs, linked images, favicons, OpenGraph assets, CSS backgrounds) in a panel. Hey everyone! 👋 I'm having an issue with a dropdown menu in my navigation component and I can't seem to fix it. Here's my setup:- I have a Navigation component with variants (closed and open states)- The dropdown opens using a **Mouse Enter** interaction with **Change to** action, switching to the open variant- The Navigation layer is at the very top of the layer hierarchy on the page The problem is that even though the Navigation is the topmost layer, the section below it (hero section with text and illustrations) is visually overlapping the dropdown when it opens. I've already tried:- Checking and disabling **Clip Content** on all parent frames- Moving the Navigation to the top of the layer panel

Auto-filling slot containersIs there a way for an instance added to a slot to automatically fill the slot container? For example, when I insert a row component into the slot, it keeps its fixed width instead of expanding to fill the slot.Selecting a preferred instance variantWhen setting a preferred instance for a slot, it seems like I can only select the base component—not a specific variant. Is there currently a way to choose a specific variant as the preferred instance?The only workaround I can think of is breaking that variant out into its own component, but that feels like it defeats the purpose of variants.Am I missing something in how slots are intended to work, or are these current limitations?

Hi,I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem. I have the slot. I configure it, etc. everything awesome.I take the instance, try to use it.Add an instance of the component that I had selected as the preferred one.Now, it breaks my Fill for width and height for the component and the component doesn’t fill the slot area!Now, I know it has to be changed to fill but weren’t slots supposed to be automatic? So that whatever is put there, it behaves like it should?WTF?Another BROKEN FEATURE… OMFG. 

Hey Figma Community, I have been working on a big project, and creating it using Figma Make; with the full professional seat. there are a total of 1809 versions created on it right now, but I am stuck with this “Too many prompts, try again soon” message, in every figma make file, either creating from scratch or the same file. What could be the potential fix for this? I have been experiencing unusual behavior in Figma for several days. When I use Spacebar + mouse to pan, the canvas moves unpredictably in different directions while the spacebar is pressed. Refreshing Figma temporarily resolves the issue, but the glitch reoccurs frequently. I am using Figma Web.

Figma slots does not allow for me to edit components with existing content without overriding all instances. For example, i want to update my popover component to leverage my surface card component so the engineers know which surface card is referenced. I drag in the surface card into the component. I drag the content inside the slot, and all instances update. Ideally, this would work similar to when you move content around components it maintains the connection in all instances. see video

After updated figma as 125.9.10, cropping image one side by holding control key (the most powerful function!) doesn’t work any more. Holding ctrl key now acts as squeezing image. and double click to move and adjust cropped image also doesn’t work anymore. what happened to figma??  or is there something that I missed? I changed image type from fit to crop already.

I noticed that my Figma app hasn’t received some of the recent updates such as new left navigation bar and Slots for components.I’m using the desktop app, and I also tried installing the beta version, but the features still don’t appear in either version.To troubleshoot, I also reinstalled the application, but the issue remains the same.Are these updates still being rolled out gradually, or could this be related to account permissions, region, or workspace settings?Thanks in advance for your help! Hi everyone,We're migrating from one cloud site to another due to some internal client acquisitions.This involves migrating several hundred issues and approximately 900 Figma Design links.I tried checking with Atlassian's standard data transfer and migration tools, but the links aren't updating, and it seems they all need to be moved manually and updated.Is there a way to properly migrate Figma designs and data from one cloud site to another?Do you have any scripts that can automate the process, for example, via API?Thanks for your help.Davide - Reti Team.

Knowing that currently figma make using React framework to build the applications, is there anyway export it to vue.js ?

I'm on Figma's Education plan ( my own team seat, resets Apr 1) with 2,668 AI credits left (full monthly bar shows). File is in this Education team, and AI tools like 'Remove background' worked fine until yesterday. Now every AI action errors with 'Out of AI credits' popup, despite balance visible. I've: Confirmed file/team Checked AI balance in Main menu Tried new files in same team This forces app-switching, killing workflow. Daily limit bug? Plan verification glitch? Screenshots attached. i have a library that works the intended way for previously published color styles, but no new ones. not sure which update this feature stopped working but it would at least be the start of the new year, since that is when i would have pulled the colors that are working through the library.  i have changed the names of a few of the color styles that still work correctly and published to confirm it is still linking to the library correctly. context: i have a fill style that i need to apply across a few assets, that fill color is pulled in from a library. we’ll call the assets “hero-block-wide-bg” and the fill named “dark teal” is from the library. “dark teal” only shows up as a fill

Library Button say PublishI have published the design system file and have done all the updates in the files whose screens/frames that I want to implement in cursor. Every state or variable we create we update our design system figma file (we have bought Shadcn figma UI Kit and applied our branding guidelines). Now I dont know what im missing please help out. My main goal is to improve agent’s context and code output. I have setup my MCP in cursor but I want to use code connect to further improve.

I will not give other details: WHERE THE F*** IS THE AUTOLAYOUT WINDOW? The way in which you change so frequently is the interface is really unrespectful for people that use figma as a working tool.And you should also start changing your ux, ui o graphic designer, because some new icons are totally unreadable (e.g. the stroke one).

So I find that i am constantly losing slides due to super easy delete slide action (just clicking on delete or backspace will remove a whole slide when nothing is selected)compared to any other slides editor this is a problem I found only on Figma slides. what do you guys think? anyone else is having the same issue? 

Hey everybody,I’m reporting an issue regarding image rendering within a shared design file in our team workspace. My Problem:One of my students is seeing some images completely pixelated/scrumbled, while others render correctly. The rest of the team sees everything perfectly. Hello,I’m running into a permissions issue since Figma restructured its plans and access controls. Our team works with a number of freelancers, and we need to grant them edit access to individual files—without giving them visibility into the rest of our files. Previously, we were able to share a single file with edit access, but now it seems the only option is to upgrade freelancers to a full design seat. Unfortunately, that also gives them Team-level access, which exposes all of our files. Is there a way to give freelancers edit access to just one file without granting broader permissions? This seems like a very basic, necessary feature. Thanks.

Hi, I’m having trouble uploading specific custom font weights to my Figma Site. My site doesn’t need all of these fonts but, once I started having issues uploading certain font weights, I wanted to test how many were unreadable/incompatible. All of the font weights listed are used in my Figma Site but Figma says it “doesn’t match any font in use” when I go to upload the corresponding woff2 file.
