Hi,Skills have disappeared from the Figma Agent. There used to be a separate Skills option in the "+" menu, but now it's gone — I only see Add images and files, Attach Figma file, Web search, Libraries, and Connectors (screenshot attached).I'm on an Organization plan, and I've already tried reloading. A similar issue was reported here: https://forum.figma.com/report-a-problem-6/team-s-skills-not-visible-in-team-s-files-56256Could you help me figure out why Skills are no longer showing up and how to get them back? Thanks!
When an Icon component is nested inside an Icon Button component, changing the icon size on an instance does not update the visual size of the icon. The size shown in the properties panel updates correctly (e.g. from 16×16 to 20×20), but the actual icon/vector remains visually at 16×16.This seems to happen when the nested Icon has already been overridden in the Icon Button instance.Steps to reproduce Create an Icon component containing a vector icon. Place the Icon component inside an Icon Button component. Create an instance of Icon Button. Override/swap the nested icon to another icon. Change the nested Icon size from 16×16 to 20×20. Check the icon visually and compare it with the W/H values in the properties panel. Actual resultThe Icon frame/property updates to 20×20, but the vector inside remains visually at approximately 16×16.The UI therefore reports the new size correctly, while the rendered icon does not reflect that size.Expected resultWhen the nested Icon size chang
Hello,I’m using the Figma MCP server with Codex, and I’m experiencing an issue with use_figma: the same request sometimes succeeds, while at other times it returns a message saying that a Full Seat is required (I currently have a Dev Seat.)According to the official FAQ, read-only operations should still be available with a Dev Seat, so I expect the request to always succeed.Below is a technical summary generated by Codex.----EnvironmentMCP client: Codex Figma MCP: Remote MCP Plan: Enterprise Seat: Dev File key: N2i5Xfv16eonu10Nmes4iH Target node: 29583:56677 Node type: INSTANCERequestThe use_figma request contained the following parameters:{ "fileKey": "N2i5Xfv16eonu10Nmes4iH", "description": "Read-only comparison of Figma Instance 29583:56677 with its Main Component; do not modify any nodes", "skillNames": "resource:figma-use", "code": "<4071-character JavaScript code>"}The complete JavaScript payload is attached as use-figma-read-only-reproduction.js.txt. Figma Agent should automatically recognize and follow the styles and components already defined in PropsKit by default, instead of requiring users to manually find components in the playground and use Copy prompt. The current behavior is inconsistent because the agent sometimes creates its own styles instead of adhering to PropsKit. This makes PropsKit feel less like a predefined component playground and adds unnecessary manual setup for users.
Hello,My “Themes” collection have a “Typography” folder. My “Primitive” collection also have a “Typography” folder. How am I suppose to know if a variables links to the Themes vs. the Primitive collection ?
Hi everyone, I’m running into a strange issue with Figma Variables and component instances, and I’d really appreciate some help understanding whether this is expected behavior or a bug.I have a component called Title with a text property that is connected to a Boolean variable called uppercase. The variable controls whether the text is displayed in uppercase or normal case. I then publish this component as part of a design system. The problem happens when I update the variable/mode in the design system and republish it.For example:I create a Title component and connect its uppercase property to a variable. I use this component in another design and customize the text values for each instance. I update the variable mode in the design system, for example from uppercase = true to uppercase = false, and publish the update. After updating the library, the customized text values in existing instances are reset back to the default Title text. This happens even if I change the font or make othe
Hello,I am a user of the Figma Enterprise version. To use the Code Connect feature, I created a Figma project, converted it into a library, and published it. However, when I clicked the 'Connect to components code' button to link the components to code, I discovered that a GitHub account belonging to another user was already connected.I understand that in an Enterprise environment, the integration between Figma and a GitHub account can be configured at a team or organizational level by an administrator. I would like to know if the current issue is caused by such a centralized setting or if there is another reason.Could you please let me know if there is a way to change the connection to my intended GitHub account or to disconnect the existing one and set up a new connection?Thank you.
I’m trying to connect a custom MCP client directly to the Figma Remote MCP Server:https://mcp.figma.com/mcpI understand that Figma’s documentation currently says only clients listed in the MCP Catalog can connect.Could someone from Figma confirm:Is there currently a supported process for a custom MCP client to connect to the Remote MCP Server? If so, is any registration, approval, or specific Figma plan required? For a custom client requiring OAuth, should a Figma OAuth App Client ID/Client Secret be used, or does the Remote MCP Server use a different OAuth flow?I’m specifically asking about a custom MCP client connecting to Figma's Remote MCP Server, not creating a custom MCP connector inside Figma Make or Figma Agent. Thanks!
We are trying to use our internal React packages in Figma Make, but its not working due to Figma Make using React 18, and our packages require React 19. The AI has tried to upgrade but its saying that React 18 is bundled with the preview iframe and cannot be upgraded. How can I get around this?
Hey guys, I’m not even sure how to look this question up here. So apologies if it’s repeated.I recently started Figma, but I still use Photoshop as I’m more fluent at it, and slowly transferring my workflow (what can be transferrable) to figma. And one of those projects is using this shape in different contexts and sizes. Is there a way to make this on figma so i don’t have to manually grab each square and resize the lines every time?
Hello,I am struggling to understand the differences between my previous free Figma account and my current Enterprise account with a Developer role. With my free account, I was successfully creating prototypes using Figma AI. I had access to the daily AI credits included in the free plan and was able to build a very promising prototype for a project I am leading. I invested significant time and effort in this work and was making good progress.Yesterday, I was assigned a Developer role within our Enterprise subscription. Naturally, I expected to have at least the same capabilities as before, if not more. However, when I tried to continue working on the same prototype and use the same AI features, I quickly consumed my entire monthly allocation of 500 AI credits in a single day.As a result, I am now being told that I cannot continue using these features until September 6th.This situation is very confusing to me for several reasons:In the free account, I was able to work productively using
Hi! I’m using the Figma Agent beta in Figma Design and I’ve reached the monthly beta limit.I see the option “Request free extra credits”, which opens a form titled “Request additional beta credits” and asks what I’ve been using Figma’s agent for.Can someone confirm who receives and reviews this request? Is it reviewed directly by the Figma team as part of the Agent beta program, or is it sent to the admin of my Figma team/organization?I’m specifically asking about the beta credits request for Figma Agent, not the regular AI credits request flow. Thanks!
Hi,Details as requested. This is a Community publishing restriction on my account, not a file issue. Steps to reproduce: 1. Figma desktop app, signed in as [redacted by moderator to remove personal information] 2. Figma menu > Plugins > Manage plugins (Resources > Plugins tab) 3. Select GitFig (Community plugin ID [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]) > Next, or the "..." menu > Publish new version 4. The publish form opens; the footer shows in red: "We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed" 5. The Publish/Next action cannot be completed while that message is present Device: Windows 11 Home, Figma desktop app version app-126.8.16. Same result on repeated attempts since August 25, 2026. Screenshot of the publish form footer attached. No console errors are involved; the message is shown by the publish form itself. No specific file is affected; the block is on publishing an update to my existing free Co
Hi everyone,I’m facing an issue with the icon behavior in my designs, I have the original Icons as components with a set color variable. When using them inside other components (nested) and changing their color variant, everything works perfectly, but then without me touching them they switch to showing the original color of the icon component in the view.the actual variable selected is preserved and correct, so it doesn’t actually like switch back to the original variable, it will say that it’s using icon-black for example, but in the viewport it will be showing icon-blue and even the stroke width variable is not applied while showing the setting is correct.I don’t know if this bug is related to slots, I’ve been using them heavily lately.also just duplicating the component will create a fixed one.sometimes undoing some of the other changes in the page (no one touched the actual component with the issue) it fixes itself.even like deleting it and leaving figma for a minute and then undoi
I work at a consulting firm, so there are a lot of different projects happening at the same time, along with many completed ones. I also work on multiple projects simultaneously.Right now I'm on a team with a lot of projects, and I need to switch between them several times a day.Earlier, it was very easy to open the latest files right from the preview and quickly scan through entire projects, since each project has a unique thumbnail style. Now the same task takes me much longer and requires more clicks. I have to open the folder first and then choose the file, whereas before I could open a file directly from the preview itself. It was easy to navigate and open recent files, fast and simple.Even when I needed to find a file that wasn't visible in the preview, it was still much easier to navigate. Please bring back the preview exactly as it was, or add an option in the settings or preferences to enable folder previews.
Hi Figma team,My Figma AI credits are draining unusually fast — they're being depleted after just 3–5 prompts, even though I'm using the default AI model. This doesn't seem right for normal usage.Could you help me understand what's happening here? Specifically:- Why are so many credits being consumed per prompt on the default model?- Are there settings or best practices to make my credits last longer?Happy to share screenshots or my account details if that helps. Thanks for your guidance.
I am experiencing a bug with an icon placeholder component that uses 5 different size variants. The issue starts in the Assets panel, where the component thumbnail already appears flipped/inverted. When I drag the component onto the canvas and use the Instance Swap property to select a designated Preferred Value, the nested icon automatically flips or rotates incorrectly. It seems like Figma is not preserving the true orientation during the instance swap across variant sizes.
While using Figma motion, the animated frames or components set to play once are resetting to loop animations, every time. In present mode as well as on file. Please suggest a fix urgently.
Hi! I’m reaching out regarding the plugin. This is my first time using it, so I’m still figuring out how everything works and what the different features do.I noticed that using the plugin requires providing an email address. I initially entered one address, but later decided to change it for privacy and security reasons.I just want to clarify that this change was not an attempt to bypass any rules or restrictions. I made it solely for personal privacy reasons.I already sent a message by email, but I haven’t received any confirmation that my request was received or is waiting to be reviewed. That’s why I decided to also post here. Please take a look at my situation when you have a chance. If you need any additional information from me, just let me know and I’ll provide it.I’d really appreciate your help and look forward to your reply.
Hi, So our team DS system icons its pretty much all setup with a locked aspect ratio + a variable applied. This is from all the way back when these options were announced, I think was sometime last year, anyways. Recently we dont know why happened, But the aspect variable applied to that icon that is nested in a button (for example) can't be change anymore when using it across the any page. I think was up till few weeks ago all of that was working well but not it isn't. Please see attached images I tried creating a new button and nest any icon into it, then create a component out of it, inside. the component u can see the dimensions of the icon still has that variable applied, and I can just click on it and change the size easily. But once I copy that component and put it on any frame outside , the dimension variable doesn't show as applied anymore. And BTW all of this is happening across the whole platform which is dozens of files, this file im showing here is a the demo page inside t
Since Friday 16th of July the way I copy paste interactions is not working anymore. I normally would left-click on my noodle and press Ctrl+C and paste it into another object with Ctrl+V. The behavior is erratic, but mostly the whole object gets pasted onto the Frame instead of the interaction. I have already cleared Desktop Cache tried it in new files tried with other accounts tried on another PCIt’s really annoying for complex prototypes with lots of if/else interactions.

Hi everyone,We are experiencing an issue with our Figma Professional account. We noticed that only 3 sessions/devices can remain active at the same time. When we log in using a 4th device, one of the previously active sessions is automatically logged out, with the message:“You’ve been logged out. When you logged into this device, you were automatically logged out of some older Figma sessions.”Previously, we did not experience this issue and were able to use multiple devices without one of the existing sessions being logged out.Could you please clarify:Is there currently a limit of 3 active sessions/devices for Figma Professional accounts? Has Figma recently introduced or changed any policy regarding the maximum number of active sessions? Is there any way to maintain more than 3 active sessions/devices on a Professional account?Could you please confirm whether this is an expected behavior or an issue with our account?Thank you.
