figma.createConnector has always been limited to FigJam.A few years ago, I wrote a workaround plugin that allowed users to quickly clone and relink existing FigJam connectors in Figma.However, it recently started throwing this error:Error: in clone: Cloning CONNECTOR nodes is not supported in the current editorI’m wondering if Figma has changed and restricted their API. Since there’s no last updated date on the API page, I’m not entirely sure. It also seems like there may no longer be any viable workaround :(

I only wanted to use FigJam, and I thought upgrading to Pro would apply just to my own account. Instead, I’m now being told I have to pay €192 before I can downgrade again. This is very frustrating, and the invoice calculations are not clearly explained.I hope Figma improves this process, because transparency and clear communication are essential for a user-friendly subscription service. Could someone please help me understand these charges and fix this issue? Transparent and clear communication is important, and I hope Figma can assist me with this.

Hi! I can’t seem to smart animate my button radius to the way i want it. i decided to throw in a test button and it works perfectly like i wanted. my main button animates like it “dissolves” into the hover state. whereas the test button is animating properly. any idea how i should fix this? animation setting:

Hi there! I have an issue where, when i present embedded prototypes in Slides in full screen, all Figma Slides controls disappear, and then also shortcut F stops working, which leaves me stuck in a prototype. There’s no way to exit except manually closing Figma app in the Windows taskbar or going to the Task manager. Is there a shortcut i don’t know of or some other way i should do this? I’m using Figma Windows App, version 125.11.6

I have free access to figma through my university email. My university email will expire around 12 months from my graduation (12 month grace period). I will be graduating in mid-december. Does that mean I’ll have access to figma till atleast the end of this year? I was planning to pay for a yearly subscription starting Jan 1 on my personal email acount. But I also dont want to risk losing my files that are currently on my Uni account.

I have created a site on Figma Make.Published it to my domain.But...I am not able to link to a specific page within that site. If I ask Figma Make to create anchor links that works. But the link does not work If I embed that link on another file.anyone has managed to find a work around for this?

I’ve been trying to use Figma MCP Server with Cursor but it never seems to get the position of each shape or object in the frame correct. Here’s what is in Figma: Here’s what my output is in React: 

My prototype is linked above. The problem is in climate control: when I click the up arrow button, the app stops responding and the power button disappears. I can’t click on anything. 

Previously, the code obtained using the get_code tool in Figma's MCP had the following import statement at the beginning:```const img = "http://localhost:3845/assets/0f46fbf7be0964a515990e4283d4dc25d73db9bb.svg";```However, when looking at the code obtained using the get_design_context tool, it looks like this:```import { img } from "./svg-4zqz3";```The import statement for the get_code tool explains how to obtain the asset, but the one for the get_design_context tool gives me no idea.What is "svg-4zqz3"?And how is it designed to obtain the actual SVG file for "img"?

Hi, I’m using a Figma Education account and linked a FigJam assignment in Google Classroom.  On desktop, students can open and submit the assignment normally, but on iPads and Android tablets they cannot open it properly.Some devices ask for repeated login authentication, and others say the account is already registered but still don't load the file.I also checked the support request page, but I cannot submit a ticket because my account type doesn’t allow direct support.Could you help clarify:1. Is this a known limitation for Education accounts on mobile devices?  2. Are there specific browser or login settings required for iPad/Android?  3. Is there a workaround for students to open and submit FigJam assignments on tablets?Thank you.

I made the colors as variables and created primitives and tokenized them. But when someone add the design system kit as a library in their project, how can they make the components (and their variants) take the colors of their project - not keep the colors of the design system kit?Thanks a lot for your help

If you look at photos 1 and 2, the auto-layout is hanging.If you modify the text in that state, the length of the figure should change according to the length of the text, but it hasn't changed. Why doesn't the length change when the auto-layout is hanging?
