I’m using an Education plan and the Draw Mode / Design Mode toggle doesn’t appear in any of my design files, even after clearing cache and updating the app. Could you confirm if this feature is rolled out to Education accounts? I couldn't verify it in all the files.  

Hi! I’m a UX/UI Design student and I’m trying to create my portfolio website in Figma Sites. I already have my case study files created in Figma Design. I would think that this would be quick and easy to copy & paste my frames from Design to Sites...I was wrong. While I am able to copy the frame into the primary frame (desktop) in Figma Sites, I have to adjust every single layer to fit in the responsive frames for tablet & mobile. Is this just the way it works? Or am I doing this the hard way? It feels like I’m having to recreate each frame. I have watched a handful of Youtube videos on how to use Figma Sites, but it only shows it starting from scratch. Not importing an already existing Figma file. So I have a few questions, I have not been able to find the answers to.  1. I have a component that displays two action icons on hover. This is actually a commonly used standard behaviour. The hover is instant. The actions are Settings and Delete. However, when I leave the hover with mouse leave, the icons remain visible, which they should not, as the component does not display these icons by default (they are hidden).But that only happens when I hover over the actions. As long as I don't "touch" them, the parent component works as expected.Where is the mistake?  

Hello.I don’t really understand the difference between text background and gradient background messages in color contrast feature of figma. In which case and why it shows these messages. In attached images the properties of the texts are the same but contrast messages are different and I can’t really understand why. Thanks in advance

When using Figma, how can I let outside contractors work on some design files while keeping certain components or libraries private for my internal team?

I have already made a prototype and found that the first two slides are not displayed when I present the project. I have found information that I need to set the "starting frame" on the slide I want. However, even though I have more than two slides and there are connections between the slides, the button is still missing.

Hi! I am new to Figma and trying to make a drop down menu. I made a test frame, put the asset in it and presented it to try it out, There is a blank screen. What did I do wrong/how can I fix it?

I’ve tried several times to verify my student account, but each attempt says I’ve exceeded the limit for the student plan. When I use old verification links, they’re expired, forcing me to start over.I’ve also contacted SheerID multiple times, but they keep sending the same automated response:They mentioned missing details like “No Program ID,” “No Verification ID,” and “External User ID Not Present,” but I don’t understand what these mean or how to fix them.Could you please help reset my verification attempts or guide me on how to start fresh? I am the admin and sole Full Seat in an enterprise/company account. Lately I feel like Figma changed the way they do permissions but I can’t put my finger on it. I saw a thread where people reported users getting 3-day access when they request an upgrade (I am truly shocked -- that is a huge security and file integrity risk). I don’t think I’ve come across that yet but I’m very stressed at the prospect. Today’s weird details:Someone I’ve never heard of in my company requested to edit a file, and I clicked DENY (I’m the only designers and closely guard the files). In fact I don’t remember anyone ever requesting to edit a file, and I’ve gotten TWO edit requests this week. I went into admin to double check, and there was this guy listed with a FULL SEAT. I hovered over it and it said he was manually approved by me just before! I had to change his access to Collab (the only files I’ve allowed people to edit are FigJam files).

I need a single line of text to fit within a container without wrapping, breaking the boundary, or truncating. I need the text to get smaller when it gets too long to fit, either by reducing font size or overall scale. The text is dynamic, so I can’t reliably tell how long it will be to pick an ideal font size. Things I’ve tried: Standard left and right with top and bottom constraints, but if the text becomes too long, it wraps and breaks the boundary or truncates. Using text auto width with scale constraints, but the text just grows outside the boundary. Using text auto width then wrapping it with an auto layout, thinking the layout could hug the text and use scale constraints to get smaller, but hug resizing and scale constraints are mutually exclusive. Is there any way to do this dynamically?

Any format of images are not visible in preview mode/prototype, but visible while export as PDF/.JPG/.PNG. Have debugged basic problem like frames, blend, fill etc… Anyone have any idea about this? I stucked with this problem☹️

I have created a component with two layers of text on a curve/path. When I use instances of this component, both text layers do not match the original component’s location. I’ve tried changing the contraints for these layers to everything and nothing seems to help. Any ideas?

I used to be able to see the pixel distance between a frame and an object inside it by holding the Option/Alt key. But now hovering while holding Alt no longer shows the offset horizontal and vertical measurements. Smart Snap is still working but offset measurements do not appear at all.Is there any way to restore this feature? Thank you.

I have been working on some projects for a couple of weeks.  I wanted to move them to another brand new Figma account.  I exported and then imported the project.  I was hoping it would go ahead and setup a new Supabase like it did when I first created the project.  The problem is that it didn’t and I have followed everything Figma is telling me to fix the issues on the Supabase side.  Stilling have Supabase issues like the health test failing; so it isn’t even a Figma issue.  Any way to start fresh and using an import project and everything is done for me?  Oh and I don’t care about the data or any ids related to the project.
